Hell yea, I'll be there. Evanescence returns to St. Louis. Anyone know if cameras are allowed in the venue? Never been there before.

Ticketmaster says careas are NOT permitted for most performances. That means there could be a window of possibility. Guess we'll have to wait until the date is officially announced.

You should be ok. I've only been there once as I really really hate that place, but the one time I was there I saw all kinds of cameras. Rules are only really enforced until it's dark. They said no smoking. As soon as the sun set you could see people light up everywhere and no one stopped them. I'd say just crotch a camera and you'll be fine. Or being a girl you'll have to hide it...nevermind....

Awesome. I was hoping to be able to bring my digital, but that's kinda large, and I can't hide that down my pants or shirt. But my friend managed to sneak her small digital camera into the Pageant, so it won't be hard to sneak a disposable, or my small digital in (us lucky girls). But there is always that slight chance perhaps that they'll allow cameras and I can bring my 10x zoom and get some decent shots.

August seems a long way off.

I'd like to see the pics from the Pageant show, do you have them uploaded somewhere? I'm still not happy about that filmer that got caught. That reminds me, I should email him about this show...

Opps sorry. There were no pictures out of it. I guess I failed to mention that. She fainted sometime during the Cold performance, and we missed the begining of EV's set, and when we returned, there was no way we'd be able to get our "standing room only" spots back in the pit, so we had to stand to the side, where it wasn't very crowded, and there were various concert workers around to see us, so we didn't get any pictures. She learned her lesson now. So we'll try to have some pictures for this show :)

My father works for Anheseur Busch (he works there and I can't even spell it dammit) and they're a big sponser at UMB, so he's going to see if he can get some good tickets. Oh yea. Because I want some concert photos.

I just got an email from Wind-Up or the E-Team or Street Team or something. Pre-Sale starts tommorow, tickets look to be $30ish. Also, it's now the day after Ozzfest. Lacuna Coil, Otep, and Evanescence all in two days!

Oh my God... this was the best concert EVER!!!! If anyone here was there don't know if you saw me... i was going kinda crazy and was the only one standing in my area for Breath No More, because well I was the only one who knew the lyrics. it was funny because people were asking me how i knew this song and where it was from.. Well being the evanescence fan that I am.. I told them all about it and they were actually kind of angry because they wanted it too :) hehehe... Anyways, it was awesome, I took pictures but only had a disposable camera but was close anyways. I'll develop them tomorrow and post if they are post worthy!!! Amy's voice is incredible, I mean holy crap she's got pipes that girl does. I always knew she did but they are more powerful than I thought!! Now I'm not going to be able to talk for a few days but it's all in support of Evanescence!! Woo Hoo.. can't wait for next tour!!!!!.. and cd... and dvd...

Definately an awesome concert. All the bands did an excellent job, even Seether who I'm not particullarly fond of. Breathe no more is my favorite Evanescence song, and i wanted to smack those people that were leaving during it. I thought it was funny when Amy stopped singing to yell at them.

That was my favorite song too!!! Where were you.. seats, lawn, pit?? But it was hilarious when she told them that we didn't want those people here anyways when they were walking out during breathe no more.. and people sat back down when the song came on.. i was one of the few standing where i was and just belting it out!! It was also awesome when they were playing the music from Halloween too :)

Went last night and have never been so impressed, not only by Ev. but by every band. Amy totally rocked the place and I loved her abilities on the piano. It was my first time seeing them and I was so happy to find out they aren't a studio band. Her vocal range is incredible and her stage presence can't be beat. Seether ROCKED also. I took my boyfriend who really didn't know any of the bands music and he thought Seether was his fav. I had lawn seats but next visit here my ass is gonna be right in the pit...lol. My boyfriend and I are 43 and we had a blast hanging with the 'young' crowd. If anyone got any pics please post them for us poor folk who sat in the back :D Y'all be good and thanks to Ev., Seether, Breaking Benjamin and 3 Days Grace for an amazing experience.... Peace, Sandy

I thought that seemed rude if she had no idea why they were leaving early  ....

First off... Way Cool. I was definately in the pit. 5 people back from the front rail. I could clearly see the drummers sweating ;)

You could not ask for a more perfect evening for a great concert, 72 partly cloudy and humidity was just right. With the jamming that came forth, the Gods stirred!

Ok, Breaking Benjermin, I didn't get to hear too much of because I was late to the show. Freakin' traffic! They did an ausome rendition of Tool. Very cool indeed. Next was Three Days Grace... Not too shabby, they had a lot of good songs. Some great sing alongs! I lost count how many strings Barry broke, but it was definately fun to watch him beat the heck out of those guitars. Seether... well, Broken was cool, everything else... well... They did good shoutouts to the rest of the bands... Guess I'm just not much a Seether fan.

Then there was Evanescence. Ok, the stage and lighting was about spot on to their show in Germany (pretty much) that's been sent out over the Internet. The play list was pretty much the same too. But they had fun. You can tell that they were definately getting anxious for today's nights concert in Little Rock (the last one), They were very energetic and quite playful which made for a great show. Amy was especially playful, even criticizing the ... morons ... who decided to go use the restroom during Breath No More and My Immortal, shame on the fools. But she was not to be understood by Rocky, the drummer who's on the spot pyrotechnics (lighting his drum sticks on fire) earned a hearty yell from the audience. Was that a little psycho music going there? Oh yes! The baby grand is MUCH nicer than the keyboard, great feel of authenticity!

Haunted definately makes for a great opener! There were two encores, a cover for Smashing Pumkins and one of their own, both were quite good. Now, Amy stated she was drunk about 10 minutes into their set, but honestly, if she was, I didn't recognize it. She was a little weak on a few of her lyrics, but I'd attribute that to overdoing it on other parts and not alcohol. Hell, she rocked. John LeCompt stood vigil for a few songs, He's better at standing at attention than some Marines out at Scott. Wonder if he's ever served? Ha! Fun to watch him play. Loved that see-through accoustic guitar, far cool!

Ok, perv report. Now, I must say for an advocate of anti-Britney Spears outfits, Amy's this evening was quite revealing. She defintely has curves in many of the right places. Shame, I rather liked her goth white rolled out of a crypt dress or that nice red bustia. Nope, very tight low cut black jeans,
studded belt, a quite tight black tanktop that extended low enough to cover her belly button, but not much coverage for higher up. The guys in the front definately got a good show. um... the bra was reddish pink?, probably silk. still like that dress and bustia better, but hey, it was hot on that stage!

Anyways, lot of jumping, lot of one handed fist pumps, some zombie head bobbing, and exstensive hearding loss. All in all, a damn good concert. And might I add, to the guy a little ways down from me who wanted Amy to bear his children. Ha! sure... right...

I was -->''<-- This close to catching a drumstick. Damn. Ah well, there's always next time. And I think I'll have to catch the Little Rock show next time too, that's not that far a drive from here.

Let's see.. First she came to an immediate halt playing intro on the piano and told them - Now is not the time to go to the bathroom, after a few seconds, she seemed to get frustrated that a lot of poeple were still moving aroung in the grass seats so she told them that they could go home and not come back. Honestly, if I were them I'd probably be offended, but it was in the middle of one of two songs they played that many of the people here have NOT heard. So I reflect her expression and figure they lost out. I perticularly like Breath No More, and would be happy to replace my pirated (eek) KaZaa copy with a legit copy IF THEY'D RELEASE ONE! What Europe's more special than the home town??? Bah!

None the less, the song rocked, and those fools who went pee definately missed out.

to quote Miss Amy Lee, when the people went to the restroom, she stopped playing and said "Hey where you guys going? Fine then, you guys are haters, I hope you don't come back" then went back into the song, no big deal. As for her outfit, big deal she was wearing more clothes than britney ever has that's for sure. All in all awesome show, incredible sound, best sound I have heard at UMB for quite a while. All the bands fuckin rocked the place, it wasn't quite sold out, but it was damn close. Traffic was a nightmare afterward, it took me about 25 minutes to find my car. Typical problem for me, hahaha.

How do you walk out on a song that could become a future huge hit?

The people that walked out seriously don't know what they're missing.

Damn, we didn't even do that at Jones Beach...and our crowd sucked.

I know!!! the whole walking out in breathe no more made me pissed... I don't know how amy felt.. but i think she was kinda mad.. i would be!!! I mean that is one of my favorite songs, i think it is my favorite song come to think of it.. It wasnt just a few people either it was a lot AND almost everyone sat down, why I don't know??? I hope they release this song though sometime. I mean I have it from winmx but it's not the same! But the psycho music was the music from the movie Halloween, it was awesome and the sound was intense. I agree this was the best sounding concert at UMB that I've been to.

About her outfit, it was nice, not really revealing at all.. just a top, pants, and some bright colored bra straps hanging out.. I thought it was also funny when she said she had to pull her hair back and that no it wasn't a sexual inuendo.. hahaha that was funny because that is what my boyfriend tells me :)

I can't imagine what the concert is going to be like tonight.. you guys are soooo lucky who are going!!!!!!! I'm on an evanescence high all day today.. and probably for the whole year.
