Before the grunge scene came and destroyed it (don't get me wrong, I love grunge, but it really did put an end to this type of music) the glam scene was in full force.

I know there's got to be some 80's loving hair metal rockers out there somewhere haha.

Bands like Poison, Cinderella, Twisted Sister (That would be the band that sings the "We're Not Gonna Take It!" song that everybody has heard at one point or another)... And my personal favorite, Skid Row (they were much later 80's, but still the best in my opinion)
....Guns 'N' Roses (though they already have a thread, and everybody knows who they are) ....AC/DC....

One of the Sexiest Men I personally have ever seen.... Sebastian Bach. He's the lead singer of Skid Row. At one point, he was going to be the Lead Singer of Velvet Revolver. Motley Crue + Skid Row.... I think that would have been amazing.

I love the hair. Some of the make-up and all of the spandex freak me out just a little. But overall I think it's wicked. It was the era all about sex, drugs, and rock and roll.

I'm a real 80's child!!! i love gunners, def leppard, poison, back when metallica were good, warrant, doro!!!!!!

I also got into the whole grunge thing, pearl Jam, Nirvana but that was more like a phase for me and i always find myslef going back to 80's metal!!!!!!

Glam metals making a slight comeback within the metal scene in Australia with bands such as Hell city Glamours and sebasrockets (i'm not so much into them though!)

I do like this kind of music actually. I thought it was awesome.

Therefore, I LOVE THE DARKNESS. They're like... the 80s rockers of MY time. Mmm!

I LOVE this music. I first got into it by stealing me sister's Guns and Roses tapes when I was like 8 or so. I've been steadily converting my tapes to CD's when I hear a song, remember how much the band rocked, and add it to my Amazon wishlist.

one of the best bands of all time!!! long live thrash!!!! I actaully met Dave Lombardo at a drum clinic when he came out here with Fantomas!!!!! He is really nice and of course an awesome drummer!!!!!

Yeah two of my brothers met him when he came to a Perth drum clinic. He touched one of my brothers shoulders and he was like..."I'm never washing my shoulder again!" haha

The only problem I have with GnR is the fact that they were so tainted by fame. Axl is a dick.
