I think this site is in desperate need of a makeover. It's really plain and gray and boring. I think their should be a new logo, new colors and maybe a change in the layout. :words:

I'm torn between wanting to keep it as it is and changing it - because to me this is EvBoard's 'look' it's how I remember it. But I'm also a little sick of it and would like a change. Like someone said - new board, new layout.

Only if, as someone suggested you could give the choice of "classic" layout (meaning the current) and whatever other you want, pink and green polkadot or whatever.

We must keep this layout: after all, it matches the color of evboard's soul. But, if people are insisting that we contaminate it with colors, I would suggest a few different layout options in the user cp.

I wouldn't mind a new logo but the colours are just fine like this. They are definitely the easiest to look at for long periods of time.

I am with Katya for sure. This place is fine as it is, and it love its skin. I would only support a change if we had the option to choose whether to use this one or the new one.

I can check with ForumFactory to see if they have any styles that would fit well with the theme of the place but I think there are far to many people that love the boards the way they are to go and remove the current style. Maybe another choice might be a better option. So you'd have this one and another one to pick from. Again though, I don't know if they have any extra themes laying around or if they would have to code one. If thats the case it would likely take awhile to impliment but I will check and get back with everyone on that.

If we had the option to choose that wuld be awesome. EvThreads had that option set up once and it worked well.

A logo is something that represents the board through a graphic, and the one we have is perfect. It has a customized Evanescence symbol with a spin of personal flair that makes it unique for this forum.

I think the saying 'If it ain't broke, don't fix it' applies here.

The old logos were acceptable, but this one is graphically stunning. I'm generally an advocate for change, but in this particular instance, it seems like the only place it could go is down.

I prefer the board the way it is. As stated before. it's easy to read.

Maybe a tiny bit of color here and there, but not to bright, maybe pastel color, something really soft, and maybe add a little bit of music notes around, but not to much! I think that would look awesome!!:thumb::cool2:

in this case im a believer of if its not broken dont fix it. there is nothing wrong with this layout style or colour. it is easy on the eyes its not distracting and hard to follow. everthing is logical and it flows nicely why change something just becuase the colours arent to everyones liking? its likely the change will have ppl wanting the old back as it has happened elsewhere before.
as for the logo why would it be changed its the logo it has been for god knows how long changing it would just be a waste of time.
