What kind of guitar effects are you using live? (meaning amps,pre-amps, effects,maybe a compressor) Just give (if you can) names of the manufacturer, serial number anything!!!

I know John uses a line 6 hd 147 head and I think 4 line 6 4X12 close black cabs and uses wah for the solos he play and uses Esp/Ltd. guitars,as for Terry he uses I think messa boggie amps and wah for the solo for My Immortal(not sure what outher solos he plays) and he uses Ibanez guitars...
other then that I dont know,hope I helped in any way

Yes you did, thank you. I how they sound live, so I posted this just to find out what are they using. I'm preparing to on a tour wiht my band (as soon as finish album) so I said to my self:"you've got to find out what are you missing, you need that guitar sound live"

Thanks this was very helpful ;) I just wanted to know the type of the effects, I'll try this combination, (damn it's obvious that it will do the job, there are some "HELL machines" on that list of yours).

Deff. go with a Line 6 Spider 2 if you want the Ev sound and dont wanna spend somwhere around $1300(us dollars) for an HD147 head...
I've had mine since Feb. of this year it hasn't let me down one bit and I've been able to get the sounds of all the songs off fallen I've tried to play

I know that but since I live ine Serbia and Montenergo that $1300 price is about 20% larger here so I'll have to spend about $1500 :eek: So I guess that is the best for me to finish my album first and than to buy that "machine"! :)

Also,when Ben was in the band he used a digitech Wh-1(I think) whammy for the solo in Whisper...
