This isn't really a small band...But whatever.

I've really gotten into this band. They're like...The misfits + AFI + Blink 182. The combination sounds lethal, but I really like it. They're style of "dark" writing sounds almost like it's...Tounge-in-cheek, but perhaps they're being serious. :P

Anyway, if you haven't heard of them...Check them out. "Good Mourning" is their newest, and in my opinion, best album.

Ooh I like them, but I've only heard a few songs. I liked Stupid Kid. It was a great song, and the video was funny hehe.

The only song I've heard from them is "We've Had Enough". It wasn't bad.

i have three joint fave bands, and the trio are one of them. I love the music, and the lyrics are great. Matt is a great guy, and I just love them. I would agree that Good Mourning is probably their best, although I am very fond of Godamnit. Blue in the face is just beautiful. :D

I'm listening to the BRAND NEW Alkaline Trio/One man army split album, and I just had to say how amazing the new Trio songs are. Very very impressive

The Emogames rock, but not quite as much as the Trio <3

I really like 'Radio', 'Sorry about that' and 'Emma'. Can anyone suggest any other songs by them that are really good?

My top 5:
5)Queen of Pain
4)Maybe I'll Catch Fire
3)She took him to the lake
2)Sadie
1)Blue in the face

They're all classics. "Sadie" is off the new split with One Man Army, it's a good indication of how much the new full-length will rock

Yeah, I REALLY like this band. I first heard one of their songs on the Vans Warped Tour 2002 CD. I really liked it!

Alkaline Trio are the best! I was introduced to their music by a friend of mine, and since then...i have four of their CD's. I love ALL of their songs, but one of my favourites is "Trouble Breathing" and "Radio".

alk3 kick ass. this is the first band ever posted on here i really get into, so props to the starter of the thread. i'm really digging the new stuff from the OMA split, "fine without you" rocks, and i love the damned cover. alk3 are hands down the best band in their genre right now, and despite what alot of people say, they didn't sell out.... they evolved.

Yeah, I like Alkaline Trio also. Probably my favorite song by them is "Blue In The Face", which I downloaded to check them out. I downloaded a few more awhile back, but I don't think I've got them on this computer. At any rate, they do rock. I just don't have any of their cds yet. :(

Alkaline Trio is one of the only punkish bands I listen to. I usually listen to metal, but this band's pretty good! I have Good Mourning. I definitely love We've Had Enough and All On Black. I plan to listen to their other stuff later. But that's my problem now. No $. No MP3s. :( Eh... :o

the new stuff has really made me crave them. i can't wait for them to get back out here. i agree that they really own the genre at the moment. i mean, the pop punk sound gets a lot of criticism, but it works really well as a contrast to the darkness of their lyrics. my band has pretty much copied that from them i must admit

You know, it's typical that I buy Crimson and then a deluxe version comes out afterwards....
But I love Alkaline Trio, I'm going to see them on Febuary 25th and a boy I know has met Matt Skiba and loves to rub it in my face and send me pictures of them together because I love Matt Skiba, he's a genius.
My favourite songs are Stupid Kid, Private Eye, Radio, Blue In The Face and Dead End Road.
