:D How many of you spend a WHOLE afternoon staring at the TV, or maybe playing chess by yourselves, or maybe just doing absolutely nothing? If you can include yourself in this group, then why don't you give ideas on how to idle to people who like to linger, just like you? Post how you entertain yourself in those endless days in which you hope you had homework.:eek:

I'll start. I, being a GREAT time spender, like to watch TV, OBVIOUSLY!. But when there's really nothing to do I can get pretty unusual... heehee;)

I like to cook weird things in which I put the most disgusting things and torture my lil sister until she drinks it ha!.:p

I dunno why but I like to lay down on the grass, look at the sky, the clouds, the birds, wait for the sunset, and then see the stars...:rolleyes:

But really, this is just an alternative to the noble and trust-worthy TELEISION hahhaha.:D

When I'm really bored I just usually take a nap, play online, or read. Lately since I got a new car though all I have been doing is driving around when I'm bored. :)

Okay.

I stare at light bulbs. Often. I just lay on my back on my bed and stare at my light.

Also, I've had my days of playing dog-food family. It's where you take two pieces of dog food ((Mommy && Daddy)) and a piece of puppy chow ((Baby)) And... play house. XDD.

I won't get into the staging-Carebears'-suicides thing. :rolleyes:

If all else fails, there's readin or the internet.

People should learn how to play insterments. whenever you are bored you can just pick them up an play them. Or just spend all your time on the EV board.

when i got bored i play the piano or hear music on my bed, maybe i sleep like an hour or something

Plant yourself in front of the computer

1. Turn on AIM

2. Do a steady rotation of all the websites in your "favorites" list.

3. Ready everything about everyone on MySpace is a good way to go. Just keep clicking on friends of friends of friends

4. Go to imdb and think all of your favorite movies and actors. then look up things about them

5. Make an Amazon wishlist of all the CD's and movies you wish you could own.

Yeah, that'll give you a couple hours.

This technique works great when trying to avoid cleaning. You can justify it by saying "let me just check my e-mail before I start scrubbing".

When i'm bored i usually listen to music,write about almost everything,sing,play the piano (well i try to play it lol :o ) and...........

minesweeper.

i have spent days just playing minesweeper. breaking only to eat. by the end of it, i was dreaming of mines and little flags with an unhappy face.

I usually sit on the Internet for hours. And hours and hours. Checking my message boards, staring at MySpace, IMing, checking DeviantART...

I also Photoshop. I can Photoshop for hours, given the appropriate tools. Give me an idea and a picture and I can make purdy things.

Other than that, I tend to stare off into space and walk around aimlessly. Or read. Whichever.

staring into space... so much time do i lose to staring into space. and day dreaming always at work and in bioscience and antomy and physiology lectures. so much time do i lose.

channel surfing on cable and watching the crapiest shows- next top model it is like a train wreck fascinating. and cable music shows- skipping between 3 channels and waiting for a listenable song to come on so i can unmute.

I read,draw,practice playing guitar,try to sing,listen to music and write....for awhile.It dosn't take long for me to get board with those so what I usualy end up doing is either get stuck inside my daydreams, sucked up by my imagination or just think.When I sit there thinking im usuly trying to figure things out like do ghosts exsists and why people need religion.

i wonder why people always think so much. i don't think, i just enjoy. if you think too much about things then things lose their uniqueness.

I guess, sleeping, it's about the only thing I'm good at...Actually, I'm not very good at sleeping either...I have a hard time falling asleep at night so I take naps during the day.

I'm a big bookworm (of fantasy) so I'd read for a while, or go on my playstation, or do some sudoku, or play chess on the net.

When I'm bored, I usually listen to music and stare at the ceiling or computer screen. I'll doodle random stuff and sing too. I also fantasize a lot about anything and everything, and find myself thinking about the future or what it's like to be something/somewhere else. When I'm at the manmade pond near my apartments, I like to lay down on the big wall and stare at the sky or pond. I like to pretend I'm somewhere else, doing something else. I space out a lot. I wish I had photoshop on my computer. God, then I would never be bored for a few weeks or even months!!!!!
