Interviewer: After the success of the single Broken, do you have plans to work with seether again?
Amy: We did a song together which was on the PUNISHER soundtrack, it was one of their songs, and I did a duet with Shaun [seether singer + Amy's boyfriend], but we haven't been writting together.

Interviewer: What can you tell us about any new material?
Amy: We're really enjoying the writting process. Everybody went home, we had a couple of months writting seperately, then we're gonna come together with all the ideas. One of the things that inspired me - I saw VAN HELSING and went home and like, it's stupid but it was visually really really colourful. So i went home and played piano all night. [I wrote] a couple [of songs] - they're not finished, just pieces, mainly fragments... you're gonna have to wait!

Interviewer: What was the weirdest moment of the 2004 MMVA's?
Rocky: When we were taking pictures, I actually put my tongue in Amy's hair... that was pretty weird!
Amy: It was gross... It was an accident!
Rocky: I'm sorry... I won't tell anyone this time!
Amy: Everyday a new rumour! But it's been really cool, actually. It's a really laid-back award thing. It's more like a concert, it feels really different, it's really chilled.

Interviewer: What do the MMVA's mean to you?
Amy: We didn't win! We're losers! Sooo awards don't count - they don't mean anything! Haha!

Interviewer: Under what kind of conditions do you write your best songs?
Amy: It's different with everybody. With me personally, it's more of like I just go into a funk for a couple of days, and kind of lock myself up and work. Usualy it's a dark place. For the music, for me, it's one part of me, one aspect of me. I'm a normal person really, but I have issues. And the band is the place for all my issues.

Interviewer: How do you focus when you're writting?
Amy: I defenitely eat, I do shower...
[murmur]: You can't tell sometimes!
Amy: But I don't call people and it's just really weird, private, cool thing. It makes me happy in my regular life.

Interviewer: Who are your top inspirations?
Amy: for "Fallen": Nine inch nails (especialy THE DOWNWARD SPIRAL); Bjork; KoRn; Tori Amos.

Interviewer: What do you think of today's pop music?
Amy: I think that there's no way to get away from it - there's always gonna be the pop industry. But I think what people really need to realise is that pop and rock re really seperate. There's alot of 'rock' bands that have come out recently that are completely commercial and every guy in the band is attractive and just completely geared towards selling records... So we generaly try to be as ugly as possible, and write our own songs!! We just try to work against the grain.

"We're losers" That just made me laugh so hard. They were "losers" last year for a lot of award ceremonies but they got the big ones that counted lol.

And it's very good that someone else in the band gets to talk than just Amy. :)
Though some of the answers are just the same as in some other interviews.. but I guess if they ask the same questions.. the answers are also the same.

Oh, that's funny lol, thanks for that. I wonder if Rocky did it purposefully...it sounds like he did lol. Thanks for scanning it in, as well, but I think I've seen the pictures before. Oh well. I wish Rocky could have said a bit more, or even another member of the band lol. I really want those questions put to another member of the band, other than Amy. :)
