Hey fello EvBoarders. Now I know Amy writes poetry and she sometimes draws little side-sketches when writing songs. But I was wondering if there was any talk of Amy actually coming out with some osrt of poetry and/or art book?

Yeah, there was actually. I dun know much about it, but it actually might happen. If it does...d00d, I'd so get it. :D Lots of people said it might be like that one artist girl-who-can't-write-poetry's poetry book, but somehow I think Amy can do better than that.

I dun know much else about it, sooo...yeah. I'm sure a few others here do.

Yeah I would TOTALLY buy it. I know that the lead singer of Incubus released a poetry/art book so I thought to myself "hmmmm, Amy said she writes poetry....and on the site, with her hand-written lyrics, there are some drawings......hmmmmm" lol.

Last year there was talk and I think articles of where she had mentioned getting an art book out! I'd need to dig up a lot of stuff to get that. lol...but ya I'd get it too!

i would so buy it i think it would be great to get and i could understand her more i think shes so talented and would be honeded to read some of her stuff:):):)YaY:)

That would be really awesome if she was to release a book of poetry. I'd love to read some of her stuff! :)

I remember reading amy was definately thinking about releasing a book of her poetry and art, and she knew a guy who put together that kinda stuff for other people. nothing has ever been said on the subject again, I think its probably a question of finding the time to do it since last year was so busy. I was debating whether to ask her about it in the TTTB section a little while ago, but maybe she'll see this thread next time she visits :)

ANOTHER ALBUM! lol, heehee, but all i mean is that her new songs will be poetry to music, and i think itd be great if she put lots of her art into the album booklet and such, and that putting her best art and poetry into the album would be even cooler then releasing some kinda booklet, but hey, both would be coolest i suppose.

Hey, I like that idea. I just like the idea of seeing her art and the band's art. That'd be cool.

Of course the album will be the bands top priority, Im guessing amy thought of the art book as a side project she would be interested in doing sometime in the future. idk maybe it was just a passing idea, since she never mentioned it again.

I think that'd be really interesting, myself. I'd really like to see some artwork from the band, whether it be poetry, drawings, paintings, etc.

What would be really cool would be if they released the new album some time next year and then rereleased it as a special edition with a DVD and artwork book done by the band. That would kick some serious ass.
