Angra is a heavy-metal-melodic band from Brazil.
It's famous all around the world, but they're fan concentration, is, of couse in Brazil.
The band exists since 1992, and the name ANGRA means ''the fire goddess''.
The band is:
Eduardo Falaschi - vocals
Kiko Loureiro - guitars and back voice
Rafael Bittencour - guitars and back voice
Felipe Andreoli - bass
Aquiles Prestes - drums
You REALLY should try to hear them.
You won't regret, I'm sure.

first i'd like to say "thanks" to dyingsoul to creat this topic, because almost all the people who know some brasillian music, know just what are "pagode", "axé", "samba" and this kind of music so terrible and empty;
back on topic, angra is a example of a real brasillian band; Aquiles Prestes plays drums in a exelent way and i like so much;
"welcome to nova era" is one album of them that i've listenned, because i had a friend who really loves this band, and always she was listenning or talking about this band; and when had a show, she always was there; a angra's addicted fan *___*

Yeah...they REALLY rock.
I went to they're concert twice. It was amazing.
And I met them once in a workshop, that Edu Falashi, Aquiles Prestes and Kiko Loureiro went... and me and some other fans keep talking to them for like 3 hours. The guys were very polite and all this stuff... we keep talking like old friends, I got haundreds of pics ans stuffs.
I was amazing.
Really rocking.
