Just wondering. If you do write fanfiction or orignal fiction on fanfiction.net or fictionpress.com could you let me know? I would love to read some.
If you write them and are looking for reviewers I would like to oblige. You can return the favour if you want, I'm not trying to blackmail here, I'm interested. Oh, yeah, I write/read mostly Harry Potter ones, Alias ones and the occasional Buffy one.
And in case you're wondering, I do write both fanfiction and original fiction on both sites. My URLs are www.fanfiction.net/~conspiracytheorist, www.fanfiction.net/~electricpancake (yes two, because the conspiracy theorist account has some slightly shameful stories on there) and www.fictionpress.com/~electricpancake

happy holidays! :)

I fic every once in a while. I write it more than I post it. I had a thread going here that had snippets of Buffy fic in it, but I can't remember what I named it. Poop.

Anyway, yes. I love teh fic. Here are a few links to the Buffyfic world:

I started a Terry Pratchett one on fanfiction.net, but could never be bothered to finish it.

I'm not into fanfiction much.

There is an amazing amount of crap on that site from people who think they have talent, but also the occasional gem. I used to dip into it now and then, haven't been there for ages though.

I think I'm gonna read your Buffy and Alias stories. I like to read fanfic from shows that haved ended, or that don't air where I live. But I really don't like Harry Potter.
So let's see what you've got.

I wrote a few Evangelion fanfics on fanfiction.net, but I stopped going to the site after they had the big kefuffle about NC17+ stories being made available.

My fics are located on the very laaast page (ie: oldest) of Evanegelion, under the name of Ranma Saotome. And they suck.

Fan-fiction is interesting, I've always kinda wanted to do something on Batman but never really got around to putting anything down on paper.

I agree with Blitzy, there's a huge amount of pure shit and emotional porn in there, most of the people don't have a clue... But some are nice and I guess, in the end, writing is more fun than reading...

Maybe I'll one day get around to it, who knows. And the one girl, Devin Grayson, I think she got into writing comics because some guy at DC read her fanfic, that's pretty cool.

Wow, I searched and found!

My fic that I am currently working on :It's Just That (http://www.fanfiction.net/s/2211288/1/) Charmed/Hp xover. (May need to type 2 where it says 1.)

I'm also doing a Tru Calling/Hp one, but my muse ran away on that story.

I used to LOVE the anne rice vampire fanfics. those writers were absolutely brilliant. too bad Ms. Rice went psycho and threatened all of them and made them take the stories off the net. :( i wish i would have printed them all out. sigh.

I used to write tons of Lily and James Potter (Harry Potter) fan fics, but I didn't have them at fanfiction.net or the other sites you've mentioned. They probably aren't on the net anymore though because the site I posted them at changed and I left and stopped writing on it. I still write though. I love reading fan fics as well.

I wrote fan fiction a long time ago, like when I was 14 or 15 or so. But I haven't in ages.

My writing sucked, and what I WAS a fan of sucked, so I'm not even going to tell you my author name lol (er...if I remembered it...lol). But yes, I did. :) Haven't really gotten the inspiration to write anything else that's fanfiction, but I did get slammed with inspiration for what might turn out to be a full-length story a couple of months ago.

I should probably post it on FictionPress, but it kinda starts in the middle. AKA I need a plot and a setup before what I wrote lol.

It's attached here :) Just in case anyone wants to read it anyway. I pulled two names out of the air that I liked lol I'll probably end up changing them at some point. Any suggestions?

I used to write fanfic but not anymore. I write original stuff now. It sucks, but I enjoy writing it. :p

One thing I really hate is those fanfic "quizzes" on quizilla.com. They annoy me to no end.

That's a great start, Katya! Unfortunately, no suggestions for names because for me, that's always the hardest part about coming up with a story. Don't know why...

I used to write Harry Potter fics like crazy nonstop but I'm not so into it anymore. I write Evanescence fics now! They suck and I'm never posting them anywhere because ppl would laugh very hard. But I do enjoy reading fanfics of other stuuf too like Alias and Friends. I once even found fics about That '70s Show which was really funny. I always go on fandomination.net. There's great stuff on there. :D :D :D

I've never written fanfiction, but I'm a total addicted freak when it comes to reading them. I even got one of my friends totally obsessed! I love reading, and its fun to read stories when you can't watch episodes of something or read the next part of a story. I'm a total loser, but I LOVE fanfiction. :D

I've never really been to fanfiction.net. I've heard it blows, and that's enough for me.

All my fanfics were really big epics. I could never get myself to conform to a word count or a single storyline. I wish I could post some of them, but my computer has this crazy little nift for crashing a lot, so I lost a lot of what I was writing. I have a little plot bunny in my head for some post-S7 Buffy Slayer mytho-ish type deal. Something chronicling the Scythe-activated Slayers. I'm a big MythoWhore.

Yea, some of the stuff I write had really cool names, if I do recall. I had the Slayers Blood Series going for a while, and that had something to do with Evil Willow and Faith's death, and the activation of a new Slayer. I like to fuck with story arcs. I make them completely AU, and that makes it fun.

I just started writing fanfiction today, but Fanfiction.net doesn't allow me to put this type of fanfiction up. No, it's not bad or anything. They just don't allow... band fanfiction for some reason.. so does anyone know where else I can put this story up when I'm done with it?

www.fandomination.net (http://www.fandomination.net) I believe has a section for band fics.

This isn't directed at you personally, but I really don't like fics based on real people, i.e. bands, celebrities. However, I hope you have good feedback on your stories :) I think it's good that you're using your creative abilities.

Yeah, but it's a start. I'll definately move on to other things after this one, like real books/movies/etc. This is just a weird crazy phase I'm going through right now. *reps for giving link*

Hmm... this is a post I can relate to. ;)

Okay, I'm obsessed with fanfiction! (Darn, I should have put that in the obsession thread...) I love writing and reading them. The only thing is that I go absolutely crazy brainstorming ideas, I start a bunch of stories at once and then get all confused and forget what the plot for my original story was. :p I'm in the middle of three fics right now, all romances, of course! I write Harry Potter ones, mostly. I wrote a Mysterious Ways fanfic once, but the last update in that column was four months ago, so I decided not to post it. Anyway, if anyone else writes Harry Potter fanfiction, preferably romances, I'd love to take a look at them!

Oh, and here's my profile: http:/www.fanfiction.net/~sunlightgirl (http://www.fanfiction.net/~sunlightgirl)

Please send me some feedback if you can! :)

I recently joined fanfiction.net... if you like Titanic, please read http://www.fanfiction.net/s/2867980/1/ . It's my own. I've written 6 chapters within four days, but they are well thought-out.

I'm currently finishing that one, and writing a one about Lost. It'll be jampacked with angst and the island of weird. I'm also thinking of joining the Harry Potter fun, and maybe others. It'll be cool.

Oh, and check out my homepage! http://www.fanfiction.net/~laura9109

Oh yes, fan fiction! Me, myself, and I have a large history with fan fiction.

I write LOTR fiction, and LOTR fiction only, and that is the only thing I'll read, unless if I am looking for a Harry Potter fic to tear apart. See, I'm a member of the Livejournal community Deleterius, a place where Mary Sues and generally Bad fan ficiton is torn apart. The people there tend to be much meaner than I ;P But it's a great group for picky nitpickers like me who *love* our canon HP and LOTR characters and hate seeing them ruined in fan fiction.

I'm not famous in the LOTR fandom world, but neither am I unknown. Since I use the same username everywhere, I *have* been recognized on LJ and DeviantArt because of my fan fiction on fanfiction.net. It is flattering to be recognized XD I just submitted something to 'Stories of Arda', so I'm going to see if I get accepted there.

I write all types of genres: general, drabbles/one shots, book!canon, movie!canon, crossovers, parody, action, angst, everything. The only thing I don't write are slash and Mary Sues. Actually, I generally stay away from romance as I have yet to experience something so passionate, and thus don't consider myself completely qualified to write it (even if I have studied it XD).

I'm also a very picky editor/beta. When I review a story, I tend to be nitpicky and I WILL tear it apart (in a nice way) to encourage someone to be a better writer. Some appreciate it, some don't. One girl went absolutely nuts when I critizied her. I promptly delivered smackdown, and she left the Internet. I'm generally a nice person, and people generally like me, but I do *not* tolerate BS.

Anyways, if you are into LOTR, please check out my stuff: www.fanfiction.net/~ainulaire. Reviews are truly appreciated :)

And I'm not into Real Life people fics, either. I've met too many famous people to like them, and as most of them suck anyways... yea, I generally stay away from them. I doubt I'll ever write a real person fic, because I don't *know* them and their personalities. For book/movie characters, we can delve into their minds. For real people, we really cannot. So no, I stay away from it. I completely respect people who do write it (as well as slash writers, which is something I also stay away from), but I just don't read/write it myself, and doubt I will, unless if it was a private parody. Never public, though.

And I have yet again managed to babble my head off. Go me.

Hey Laire! I know your screen name from around the fanfiction world! hehe! Good to see you here!!

I also write fanfiction, or I kind used to. Im not into it as much as I once was. I do have a few one-shots based off of lotr and one big fic that my friend and I are writing, but hasn't been finished yet, and I dont know if it ever will be.

What?! NOOOOOOO. Tell me FanFiction.Net hasn't gotten to House too! ::Cries:: What a sad, sad day this is. FF.Net has completely deteriorated in quality; I haven't been on there in years, but it's impossible to find good fanfictioners on that site since they're buried in the mess of filth and rubbish.
