does anyone else out there play AOE (Age of Empires). I play AOE 1 Trial. I havent been on lately tho.

I have played it, but i don't anymore. I'm not even sure if i still own the game, actually.

if you like that version, you should "pick up" Age of Mythology. It's pretty much the same game, except you have gods to aid you in your battles. ;)

my dad plays this game whenever he gets the chance. i can't tell you how sick i am of hearing the bird, the horn sounding an attack, or that blasted machine gun carrying car (a cheat). not to mention, "defichu" or whatever those little people say when you send them to do something.

even my little cousin plays it. oy.

I've played AoE2 a couple of years back but my disc got whacked and I didn't want to buy a new one.

I played Aoe 1 completed most of it and got bored, so then I started Aoe2 and then I found better uses for my time and stopped playing. I sometimes play it if I really dont have anything better to do.

I played AOE1 all the time until I got AOE2 with expansion. Haven't had time with work and school and guitar to do much playin games but they are great games.

why? inhanced graphics and more races can only enhance the game. But I agree, it doesn't work for all games, but trust me that you will like AoM :)

I play the port of AOE on my PocketPC all the time, and AOE2 online multiplayer on my laptop.

I got a question for anyone who still plays AOE2. I've got the Conqueror's Expansion...and during multiplayer this little tortoise always pops up next to my name on my friends computers. I know it doesn't mean I'm slow because I always outbuild and double everyone elses' score...so I was wondering if anyone had any idea what it meant.

lol i played aoe 1 and expansion, aoe2 and expansion. but it was 4 years ago..
but playing online was costing some money so i never did, only on LANs.
Now im playing Wc3.
AoM was a bit better but not a top game like aoe2

i played it like 2 years ago, but now...i can't understand why, for me those games are soo boring:p..but my brother still plays it..

I love AOE, although I haven't played in a while. But i don't like playing without cheating. Shame on me. I bought Age of Mythology, but didn't like the graphics they were very ridged and not very smooth, although the storyline seems to be good.
