Just found out they are coming here. They have been to Verizon once, for Mayday last year. The Murat Egyptian Ball Room and the Alan County War Memorial were very intimate shows. This will be so awesome. I MUST get front row :D I can't wait. Who else is going????

Man, I might have to pick up tickets to this show cause it's the closest to where I am (right outside Chi-town). I hope they'll announce a Chicago show before the tickets go on sale, though, since I don't want to drive 3 hours.

Third time must be my charm, because I went to Karma at 1 pm today to get my tickets, and even with the internet presale, I still got PIT tickets!!!! yeah!!!

Yeah, I was sitting in front of my computer with Ticketmaster loaded, and then the site suddenly went "Ticket service unavailable." I guess a bunch of people had been madly hitting refresh along with me, but I picked up some pit tickets as well.

I didn't even think they had a nice front section like that, since the seating chart showed only seats. But I'm guessing they removed that part of B section that kinda curves around. Now I get to show my brother the joys of being as close as possible to the show, like at Assembly Hall.

I got pit tickets also!! Im sooo excited! What time do you guys plan on getting there?

Well, I plan on leaving my house at 8:00, so I should get down to Noblesville around... wait, I just realized, I think it's in Eastern time. So I'd get there around 1:00 EST (12:00 CST, which is where I'm coming from) after eating a quick lunch.

Nah, it's CST (we don't do daylight savings), so same as yours. My husband has to work, so, I will prob be there when the gates open (5:30). But I plan on sticking around until I get some signatures. hopefully....

Awesome. I can never tell which parts of Indian are C and which are E. It's so confusing. But yeah, definately hang around after the show, as in the past they've come out.

Well, it'd be easiest for me to just to meet at the Center, cause my dad's the ride, and he's gonna be bumming around in Indianapolis the whole day.

yes, the pit is a blocked off section in the front. from what i remember it is only in the middle section and closest to the stage. i'm not sure how many people can get in there but to me it looked like 50...maybe less, maybe more...i don't know. it's nice though b/c you have to have a pit ticket to be down there, so its not too overcrowded...oh yeah and i bought my tickets right when they went on sale...and just for kicks i wanted to see what seats i could get yesterday (Monday) and I could still get pit tickets. i hope that's not a bad sign.

Well, I know I'll be getting there sometime around noon, and I shall be hanging around the busses with my brother. At some point (between 3:30 and 4:30 I'm guessing) I'm gonna shift to the entrance to make sure I can get in and be right at the front and center of the pit.

Who is going and has pit tickets? Me and my friends have them, whos gonna be there?

I'm not quite sure what time i'll be there. We're leaving Wisconsin about 7 or 8 AM the morning of. Giving about a 5 hour drive, then we're going to look for a hotel to check in and stuff. I'm hoping to be there around 2 or 3 PM. I'm going to be wearing my Seether Kill Techno Shirt (look for the big bulls eye on the front). You can see pictures of me in the Minnesota concert thread to see what I look like. Any help I can get to be in the front will be greatly appreciated. Has anyone ever been to this place that knows the setup? If we all band together, we should be able to be up front.

I will be wearing a black corset and black or pink (haven't decided yet) tank under it. Either black jeans or skirt.. have yet to find a skirt I like. And my black boots. I will be with the tall skinny guy who looks like he fell outta redneck hell. (long brown hair.. yeah). Um, maybe I can post some pics, my hair color has changed (dark auburn). edit: Roxanne, he just said local, so I am assuming X103 (which I listen to), 104.1 (Muncie station, checked the website and nothing yet), and the other Top 40 stations in Indy (which I can't find urls for.

I'll be the decently tall guy (6') with an old Evanescence T-Shirt from back when they came around during the Nintendo Fusion tour. So it just says Evanescence on it. I'll also be with my brother, who's slightly taller and wider than me. I'll have a nametag, he won't.

I think all of us who have been actively posting here have pit, so if we all get there decently early, we can all get front row. That's how it was at the last concert I was at, there was like, 9 of us who had gotten there several hours early. Just make sure that you take a pit stop before getting there, and don't drink too many fluids while you're waiting.

As I said before, I won't be there until around 5. My husband is gonna try to leave work at 4. Hopefully I will be able to catch up with you guys in line. And I NEVER go to the "pit stop" at a concert, or drink anything BUT water. If you guys like, pm me, and we can trade #'s, just so we can find each other. I always have my cell with me, so that could be good for locating. Ok, let me know!

[edit] Looks like my plans may have hit a little snag. My brother's taking an SAT and ACT prep course at the local college, and my mom forgot about the concert when she signed him up. He has SAT in the morning, ACT in the afternoon, so we might end up having him go to the SAT on the 3rd, and the ACT on the 4th (we're staying at a hotel down there after the concert) so I'd get there around 3:30 or so, but we might also decide that he just won't go to the concert, in which case I'll have an extra pit ticket up for sale, at $45 (or a reasonably close price, as tickets were $34, + $3 building fee, + $8 convenience charge). So if you know someone who would want a pit ticket (or you are someone who wants one) get the bug in your/their ear. I should know by sometime tonight as to whether or not the ticket'll be up for sale.

Oh, and got my silver sharpie. All set for the show!

Well I got mine from ticketmaster on the phone, I called like 5 mins before they went on sale, and got through the thing in like 4 mins, and talked to the guy(who was nice enough to do that) for about a min, and then he got me 3 pit tickets. Mine I print, they are a PDF Document. I got...fastlane or something.....something that gets me in a special line before the big group.... :)

Yeah, I know about how a lot of these venues work. But I figure no one will be willing to pat where I'm gonna hide the camera (down my pants) so it's all good. I just gotta finish practicing how to walk like that without looking overly suspicious.

It's official. I have a photo pass for Evanescence and still working on one for Seether. I will take some great pictures, although I am taking the pictures for another site.

I just got back, and the show was a blast. I met a few Evborder's and they were soo nice. I will give more details later.... too tired now ~moni~

Those were good pictures. My photo pass didn't work out because they had already started letting in General Admission, but the pass wasn't at will call yet, so I don't have any pictures.
The show was great as usual. (Except for the idiot moshers) I wasn't as impressed with Seether and Breaking Benjamin this time because they changed their set lists completely, yet all the guys still put on a really good show. Obviously Ev was amazing. Major highlights of the evening:
1. Will B. (ev) and Markus from Breaking Benjamin had to fill in for Seether's bass player Dale, because he had his appendix taken out the night before.

2. Instead of John singing the male vocals on BMTL, Shaun came out and did them. It was great too because on the first verse he came in a little late. Then when he was supposed to say "THere must be something more" it seemed like he just screamed. It was great.

3. Amy lost her place on My Immortal right before the band kicked in. It was just her singing with Rocky tapping the symbol. You could see the big smile on Rocky's face when he realized.

4. During Whisper right at the end, Amy's mic quit working so she threw it on the stage and just started wiggling and head banging.

My best concert ever.
It was nice to meet everyone from the board and a special thanks to those who helped keep the moshers away from us girls. :D

Wow. I am in so much pain from this concert, it kicked major ass!

I really enjoyed 3DG and BB, got some decent pics, too.
I have awesome pics of Amy & Shaun during broken, and also of Amy at the piano when she started Thoughtless.

I had so much fun.

Casey (husband) said at one point, there was this older bald guy next to him singing (I think when Amy was telling us to sing, too) and he was laughing (apparently it was funny). Anyway, he said Amy (as she was singing) looked over at him, realized he was laughing, and got the giggles, and sang/laughed through the rest of the song. I suppose I was too busy singing to realize!

Oh, yeah. I got Amy's water bottle cap. It hit my neck , rolled down my back, and landed in between Casey's shoes!! <yay!>

All in all, we had the best night ever. All except me falling on the concrete after Amy's towel. That sucked, and hurts today. But I would do it all over again in a heartbeat!

The highlight of my summer was this concert. Although I was too poor to get pit seats I was able to get upper pavillion seats. I love 3DG. But of course Evanescence was the highlight. I loved the introduction to "Haunted" and the piano entrance to "Bring Me To Life" was really powerful. I also loved the "Thoughtless" cover. But my favorite song had to be "Farther Away", just everything about it was perfect. Amy has such an amazing stage presence, I was close to tears during "My Immortal" and "My Last Breath". It was an amazing and unforgettable concert.

I know! The show was amaizing! I couldnt stop watching her..i couldn't even take my eyes off of her.... she is just so damn amaizing! I got Barry from three days grace guitar pick. I really wanted rocks drumstick, because im a drummer, and that would be cool. But he didnt throw it to me. :( oh well. I hope you guys liked my pictures! I love them, i have a bunch more, but i dont wanna put them all on here. By the way, i was up in front on the left side...and....Iw as talking to a bunch of people around me, and some of them were from here, and I dont know which ones they are. So if anyone remembers me and a boy in black and white stripped pants talking to them, let me know who you are!!

Hey we were standing by you guys! We were on the right side of you and you showed us that awesome picture you took of Amy that was on your purse.

Ready for my sob story? Ok, In May, I purchased two lower pavilion tickets for the show, put in a request off, and thought nothing of it. Closer it got to the show, I asked my boss if I had gotten my request approved. And of course, it didn't. So I cry because I knew full well it would probably be the best concert experience I'd ever be able to see. Well I decided to try to sell the tickets so I told my mom since she's a recent Ev fan. She said her and her doctor friend might go. So 3 hours before the show I get notified that they are in fact NOT going. So long story short, I ended up not selling my tickets and I still have both of them sitting right on front of me. How's that for a story. :'(

You don't have to belive me cause I still don't think it really happened, I am waiting for someone to wake me up. I went to the show in Indiana with My god father who is the drumer for Veruca Salt and my dad. My god father knew the guy who ran lights for the tour, named laurence(SP I don't know how to spell his name) and so he took us back stage and we sat on the crew tour bus. So were sitting there talking and then John's guitar tech walks in along with Pat the guitarist of Seether. And pat walks in and sits down next to me and we all get introduce and pat shook my hand. Then John's tech asked me if I wanted anything to drink, and I had just dranken a fanta orange, so I was like 'aww no thanks.'
And he was like 'We have loads of drinks in here, coke, beer, vodka, water, YOHOO!' And he pulled out the Yohoo and held it up 'Every kid loves yohoo.'
And pat was like 'I still love yohoo!'
I was like 'really its ok-'
My dad 'Have you ever had a Yohoo London?'
Me- 'Nope'
John's Tech (I don't remember his name off the top of my head ugh) 'Oh then you have to have one.' He shook it up, opened it and then handed it to me and I took a swig of it and everyone got quiet and looked at me and I smiled and was like 'Its good' And pat and John's tech start clapping.
So we hung out on the bus for a bit just talking, I heard some pretty cool stories about them on tour and some cool facts about Amy but it was kinda a personal experience so I won't say them, Sorry! And my god father asks 'How did you get the name Seether?' Remeber here folks that my god father is the drummer of Veruca Salt.
And pat goes 'You remember this band veruca salt?' And my dad and I start laughing and pat gives us looks like, huh? And so My uncle (godfather but I call him my uncle jimmy) Jimmy tells them that he is the drummer for veuca salt, and pat just freaks out. He was like alittle kid that meets his biggest idol, I mean he was like spazing. And it was funny to watch cause this is my uncle jimmy, I've known him since I was born, he is just my uncle jimmy to me, not some rock star like guy, even though I went and saw them play a huge show. So they talked for a bit and Pat gave me a signed guitar pick.
We got up and walked off the bus (laurence leading us) and was walked back inside the backstage and down into this hall way where the dressing rooms were. And standing in the hallway was the drum tech for Seether, Shaun Morgan, and a few other people from seether and the bass player of evanescence (horrible with names) and then Laurence introduce us. I shook Shaun Morgan's hand and he was really cool. And Pat comes up behind us and was like 'Shawn, this is the drummer for f*cking Veruca Salt!' And Shaun's like 'No Way!' And shawn starts freaking out. And then one of the sound men walks up to me, (he had been looking for a picture to take back to amy to get signed for me) and he had this Promo thing for the fallen cd and he took it down the hallway and dissappeared. And then Jimmy was talking with shaun and told him how he now owns a restraunt down town chicago and Shaun was saying that the band would come down and eat some time. And the drum tech for Seether was like in LOVE with my uncle, it was so funny to watch. And My dad told Shaun that if he ever goes to get the steak fahita cause its the best steak ever and all this other stuff. And I'm barely listening cause I can hear amy talking down the hallway and every time she would talk my heart would flutter and my stomach would drop out. The light guy came back with the promo thing signed and it said 'to London :), Love Amy Lee' I asked shaun to sign it too and he signed it 'rock on, shaun morgan'
So Shaun dissappears and comes back with this tattered peice of paper and a sharpie and was like 'I don't do this offten, could you sign this for me?' And he handed it to my god father and he was like 'sure!' Then the drum tech had him sign this pass for him. Then shaun dissappears again and comes back with Amy!! She was wearing a black tank top, jeans, her hair was down and still kinda wet and she had no make up on. She looks so pretty! I mean it, she really did!
And Shauns like 'This Jimmy, the drummer of veruca salt!' Then he turns to me 'This is London' and she was like 'Hi London nice to meet you.' And we shook hands, then Shaun looks at my dad and was like 'I'm sorry I forgot your name!' And my dad was like 'its ok it doesn't matter, I'm just the dad that stands in the back, I'm chad' And She shook his hand and was like 'oh it does matter! nice to meet you chad.' And then she walked over and bumped into me as she stood between me and shaun. And shaun was like 'this is the drummer of veuca salt, they played that song seether!'
Amy 'I remember watching them on tv. I was like damn them, those girls can play [guitar] and sing.' and we all laughed alittle.
Shaun 'And now he owns a restruant down town chicago with the best steaks ever.'
Amy 'To bad we won't be in chicago any time soon.' but she said alittle bitchy like but I ignored the sass.
Shaun looked at my god father 'I loved you guys, I've always loved female fronted bands' And Amy looks up at him with this smirk and he put his arm around her and kissed her on the forehead. It was so cute to see them together. He may not be the hottest of guys but he is really nice and she seemed to really like him.
Amy started talking how she messed up at some part and that her mic company sucks and she had chucked the mic at the wall at the end of the show when she walked off stage because this is the 5th time its broken out. And now she has to fire her mic company again.
So it was time for us to part and I turned to amy and shook her hand and was like 'My friends are going to kill me now that I have met you.'
And Amy smiled and was like 'Aww don't die! Tell them they suck they aren't you and couldn't be here.' And she didn't let go of my hand as she said this. And as we turned to leave I heard from shawn and Amy 'Bye London' and when I look back on them saying my name I want to cry. I mean the people I look up to, adressing me as my me!
Thats my little...well maybe not the littlest of storys but thats it. I know there are things I have forgotten to say and details I have missed but thats the main idea of it all. I got:

I noticed lol I was like 'ah where did it go! But then I looked and 'ta-da' here it is!

Amy messed up on My Immortal. I think she lost her place on the piano right before the band kicked in because she was playing then all of a sudden it was her and Rocky. Then when the band kicked in she began playing again.

Actually, she didn't mess up. She's been doing that since the PA show. We asked her about it after the concert and when she decided to just stop playing and sing acapella and she was like "Um, 5 minutes before I did it" and so far every show after that she's done the same thing :)

Oh, your making me cry! I hate any body who go's. NO, not really. ;) I just wanted to go sooo much, and i could have bought pit sections ticket, but i had no means of transportasion. :( It would've been my first concert. I love Evanescence so much, if got to see her live i would die! I hate having old parents. :mad: Poopie! I hope on their next album tour they come to Terre Haute. Probably not, i hate thinking about good things when i know it will never come true, im used to let downs though.

I'm still glad I went to that show. It was my third Ev show, and I'd say it was probably the best. My first was the Nintendo Fusion tour, back when they still had Ben. Second was February of 04, and third was this one. I'd say Terry definately was much more a part of the band this concert as opposed to the series they did soon after he joined. And of course, Shaun doing the male lyrics of Bring Me To Life was the greatest thing ever.

I'm hoping they come back down to U of I when they tour after the new album comes out, otherwise I'll have to skip some classes to make the long trek back up to Chicago to see it again.

Wow I think I was probably at all the same concerts you were too. I went to Indianapolis at the Egyptian Murat in 2003 with Ben for my first one. Then I saw them at the Assembly Hall in 2004.

I REALLY REALLY REALLY x1000 hope they play at the Canopy Club in Urbana. That is by far my favorite place for a concert, it is exactly the right size. That is where I met Seether and Amy when Seether was in town. :D

I went to that show and it rocked!

I was at this show...It was...like almost everyone else has said..."awesome!"

Anyways...I sat about mid pavillion about 2 rows behind the sound guy. I was pretty much centered with the stage too. They were bad seats at all...

It was so cool...and so awesome...I bought me the button pins and the purple tour shirt w/ the dates on the back!...Yep yep...best thing I spent about $70 bucks on in my life (tickets and merch.)!

I will probably be seeing them again in Indy here in the next few months if they play there...
