Originally BROKEN was said to be released on July 5th but then was pushed back one week to July 12th. But now, unfortunately it has been pushed back a month! Yes, Chaos Music has now said that BROKEN will be released on August 9th!

So the reason why no music channels or shows have premiered it in Aus is because like what happened to EVERYBODY'S FOOL, the release date keeps getting pushed back. And back. And back!

Shit! August 9th!? That's ages away. I'm getting impatient. :p Ah well, I guess we've already waited this long.

By the by, there's already a thread about the Australian release of Broken. :)

As the album is as anticipated as it is, and follows such a massive album - Wind Up Records will very very very likely make it one release date worldwide for the album. If not, it will only be a week or 2 later. Nothing more than that. But I have to say with albums like Avril's UNDER MY SKIN and Usher's CONFESSIONS - they had a world release date.
So aren't we lucky that Ev are becoming bigger and bigger as we speak so they'll almost DEFINETLY have a world release date! :D *Hopes that makes you feel better!*

You probably won't find Disclaimer II in Australia for a long time. But I think it is supposed to be realesed here at some stage.

At least we will get it eventually...

Now... this is just a theory of mine.... but is it at all possible that the pushing back of 'Broken' may be so that it can be closer to a tour date??? These are the reasons behind my speculation:

1. They did the same with 'My Immortal' to coincide with the "World Domination Tour".

2. Amy recently told a Canadian radio station that AFTER the Little Rock show, (which is the last confirmed tour date) they would be coming back to Canada who have also only had one other tour from them.

3. Shaun Morgan (Seether, for those of you who don't know :rolleyes: ) posted on his bands board that they were hoping to tour here later on in the year.

Now add all these together and it sounds like Seether and Evanescence may be hauling their arses down here in the middle of summer!!! WOOT! Another stinking hot and squishy pit for me!!! :D WHat do you guys think? Plausible or just clutching desperately at straws?

Michael Coppel is a really good promoter. He's organised Ev, Korn, Sevendust, Incubus and Pearl Jam concerts in the past. His site has a 'tour wishlist' which I was going to fill out to try and get seether here. But it doesn't seem to be working. Bugger!!

Yes, Australia sucks. Especially Western Australia. It's boresville, we get no big-name concerts and there's absolutely nothing to see in Perth except Kings Park and of course we get everything about 10 years after it comes out in the States. I've always hated living here and as soon as I can, I'm leaving!!!!!!!!!!
