What I would add is a reference at the Search Button and maybe a short guide. It would do the post more complete for a noob, or anyone to read.

Paid Subscribers also get the Google banner removed from the site. Did I miss something? Because I definitely see a Google search bar at the top of my screen.

Not that it matters, though. lol I use the Google search every so often as it is, so it helps rather than hurts.

I've noticed I can still give rep to those who have it disabled (I just tried on Cfw). Does it still show up in their User CP?

Also, if I disable rep but then enable it, will I start at 0, or still have my previous rep points?

I KNOW THIS!!!

If you disable rep--it will hide it, but you are still able to recieve it. It will not be visible on the default UserCP page. You can not see it until you enable it again.

You won't go back to zero after you enable it, you will either be higher or lower then you were when you enabled it--depending on your behavior.

When I go down to one dot, I disable it, and enable it again a couple of months later, or when I want to see my rep! It seems people are still mad at me for the bs I was saying in "Omfg Y is my post not showeeng up?" board.

Putting off topic pics in your posts is a good way to get ned repped, your posts moderated, or you posts just plain refused from the moderation queue.

Rules are there for a reason, do yourself a favor and don't go trying to find ways around them.

Search, that question has been asked, and answered many many times already. At least as far as it can be explained. You wont find a x number of days, y number of posts and z points of rep answer. Just post good posts and don't worry about it. Everythign sorts itself out in the end.

i dunno.. i'm glad that i've been here so long that i'm not on mod que, because i pretty much hardly ever get rep points.. so, in a way i think it's cool.. in a way i don't. because .. i dunno

Why are my posts not showing up right away?All new users are put into a Moderation group. This helps the Moderators control what is said on the forum. New users, often not knowing the rules of the forum, make posts that the Moderators end up having to lock. This starts to get excessive, so in order to combat this and to help fight off trolls/spammers the Moderation Queue was put into place.

How do you get out of it? Just keep posting on the forum and after a while you will be moved into a normal user group where you can post freely.

Like it's said above they are ESF (Evanescence Special Forces)

They were formed back when the board was created, but as of today are not really here too much. A few of them are still around though. They are just some of the original members who were good friends with the Band / Staff.

Updated as of today with pictures for the rep dots, and I added a few other things as well.

You're all confused. Rep has nothing to do with points and donating. Points are what you get when you post and have people read your threads. You can donate those points to other people, or whatever. Your rep is a system all by itself where people rep you for your posts. You can't change that or donate any of it.

I changed a picture to help clear that up.

Okay, so then how do I donate points then, and get the comment thing in like other people do?
I have read the thread about the rep and point thing, and I just can't figure out exactly what I am meant to do.

Comments and points are not related.


When you read the thread it will tell you how to give someone rep. When you give someone rep you can leave a comment.


To donate points, just click the donate button, and it will send them points which they can use at the store.
