i think the main thing was that fenner went to prison, thank god. i think he'd run his course and thought they should get another baddy in to replace him cause he's been there for like ever. he's supposed to come back though.

I agree its good he wopn't be ion it for a while at least because as you said was wearing a bit thin over 4 - 5 series. It is also good he's coming back though because people who only half watch it might not bother if he isn't in it at all

i don't know, they seem to have massive breaks between each series like a year or so, so we might have to wait a while. i wanna know what happens between kris and selena. do you recon selena will get arrested as well? she probably will but they'll probably put her in a different prison.

I have been watching it. I think the show is funny, but has lost it's dramatical edge. I like Pat too. Last night's was good, with the big women with multiple personalities.

Yeah we caught that episode half way through, that woman was crahayzee! Wonder if they'll stick her back in it, because they shipped her off to a mental institute didn't they.

Maybe it was just for an episode. She's a risk to the other inmates and officers so unless she randomly get cured i don't think she'll be back somehow, it'd be funny if they did bring her back though.

I loved the split personality bit though, that was awesomely done. Definitely some good acting there, although, all I could see was her as a Slitheen (from Series 1 of Doctor Who hahaha). :D

I think the new series is great, quite enjoyable. Still loving Pat, she rules, and the Muslim (can't remember her name) lass I like too. The split personality thing was great, entertaining and awesome acting. Roll on Thursday!

My two obsessions are Evanescence and Bad Girls. You mean... I can talk about both on the same forum?! :D Series 7 DVD comes out tomorrow. There's been so much confusion over the DVD extras and the actual release date. I think it's had about 6 release dates.

Anyway, Series 8 isn't too bad. I didn't like the episode on Thursday. It was rather slow compared to the other episodes this series. However, I'm loving Lou Stokes. She's really funny.

I, as always, am loving Pat this series. She fastly became my favourite character of the last series and now she's even better, protecting Janine and the huge fight between her and Natalie sounds amazing.

Anyway, Im so glad I found this thread lol

I actually really liked that episode. A lot of characters who were under-used before got some decent screen time, and for the first time in ages, there was some continuity!

Sheena who just dissapeared was mentioned at last, but poor Pat was upset which I was not happy about! And David came into the programme for the first time in 5 years, and they used the same character! I thought he was cute back then but he's even more good looking now.

I think it was quite hard hitting last week, the scenes with the little girl were very disturbing, and I hope Pat finishes Natalie off for good in this weeks fight.

A good episode last week though, I didn't notice Bodybag wasn't in it though! Although it was a good episode, after watching Series 7 again on DVD, i still prefer Series 7 at the moment.

I think bad girls has got better every series mainly because of acting in the first one it was very boring.

I was abit dissapointed because Pat and Nat on GMTV said they're thrown through glass and stuff, so i dunno. But It's supposed to be better than the last fight they had, and that one was pretty good.

BAD Girls is being axed after ratings slumped, TV Biz can reveal today.


ITV bosses had been on the brink of dumping the prison drama for weeks — now insiders have admitted: “It’s finished.”

The show will end after the current eighth series, but production firm Shed already has a new prime-time drama to replace it.

Rock Rivals — billed as a cross between the X Factor and Footballers’ Wives — is about two warring record labels run by an ex-husband and wife. An ITV source said: “There’s lots of sex, drugs and rock ‘n’ roll.”

A pilot is being filmed and the series is set to start next autumn.

Bad Girls began in 1999 and has shocked viewers with lesbian romps, drug taking and violent bullying.

The show was recently dealt a blow when sexy Danielle Brent quit her role as bitchy Natalie.

ITV boss Simon Shaps insisted last night: “Absolutely no decision has been taken about the future of Bad Girls — and won’t be until after this series ends when we can sit down and assess its performance in total context.”

They meant of ended bad girls after a couple of series but they got that many viewers watching it they decided to make more, it be nice to see shell bk and sum of the old characters, Yvonne was a great part of it also fenner, but I hated him the evil wa*ker. But my fav quote is ‘ do u want another poke in the pudding’ that was when shell stabbed fenner with the broken glass. I love bad girls and iv never missed a episode of it.i hope it goes on for many more years to come :D

bad girls ended last night for this season untill the xmas 1, talk of this being the last season is bollocks theres to much of a high demand and viewing rate of bad girls for it end anytime soon. if it was the last ever ep i think it wud of been a better ep and it wud of gone with a bang not up in flames lol:P,but thats a idea for the ending of bad girls the prison gets touched and they all die. but thats sick so maybe not, just my ideas.

Wouldn't have a big ending particuarly due to if it IS the last ever one its because itv and the production company are scrapping it not the writers.

Only just managed to get round to watching the last two.. was a bit of a cliffhanger end. Hmf. And kinda rubbish actually.

yeah it was a crap ending. i mean they've had massive cliffhanger series ending before and this should have been maaaasssive. i even checked to see if it was on the following week cause i was like "it cant end like that, that was crap" lol. all we got to see was darlene go up in flames and they should have killed her, not make her live after that lol when a tv program ends you can kill off anyone you want, which is what they should have done, it would have made it more exciting.

Too right. I liked Darlene, but even I wanted her to die after that dramatics act.
