I did a search and didnt find anything about this, but I think there should be a limit on the number of pages there can be connected to topics band members. It would cut down on the "omgz you are soo keewl!@!@!" posts and make it easier to weed through the crap to find the actual information.

Just a suggestion.

mbmanus, the mods usually delete most of the pointless OMGZILUVUSOMUCH posts of people from the Mod Queue. I believe that most of the people whose posts you do see are out of the Queue.

Nevertheless, I do agree to a point. I usually only read the first couple of pages of band members' threads anyway, since it turns into the above spazgasms. I don't see how a page limit would be beneficial, though. If said band member came back and wanted to reply in that thread, s/he couldn't if the limit had been reached. And there would still be the spazgasm posts before the limit is reached.

W0rd. Just click on "Find all posts by [Insert band members name here]" under the profile.

Usually we'll lock a topic at a certain point when we feel that the band member is not likely to post on that thread again.

Or why not have a thread for each band member so they can post what they want to say in that thread without having to create a new one. Kind like the News of the World, that used to be tMR's LinksO'Rama (cough).. Just a thought...

There could also be sub-forms under each band members name so they can discuss specific topics....

Indeed. Essentially almost 99.9% of the time, all that would remain is the original post by the band member. In fact, I can't ever remember a significant discussion involving multiple replies from a band member ever happening here so it's not like you're missing something. Usually, the band member posts and that's about it. The rest of the content of the thread is classified as pure ass-patting.

Tracie made the best suggestion: simply view the band member's profile and find their most recent post(s).

When amy comes on, she usually starts a new thread. Just happens that this time was different but her post was separated out.
