Anyone going to see James Masters (Spike) at the 2nd annual BuffyDownunder (http://www.buffydownunder.com/index2.php) convention in Melbourne next weekend?

Anyway, I'm going on Sunday and I was just curious to see if anyone else was attending. :)

I'm going! Travelling from Sydney for it. I went to last years as well. Met Emma Caulfield. I was going to see James' band, Ghost of the Robot but they cancelled as the band has only recently dissolved. Bummer! I'm going both days, missed out on tickets to the dinner although fuck how expensive so I'm kinda glad I did...

I really need to get my ass out of Adelaide. *sigh* I would LOVE to go, LOVE, LOVE, LOVE!!! :(

Well, the convention was really cool. James is sooo nice. He shook my hand 3 times. :D I got an autographed photo of him and a photo with him too. The photo needs to be sent out to me tho. I bet I look like crap in it.

Wow he was soooo nice and like a million times better looking as well. He was so full of passion and so intelligent. He loves music as well. Even teared up when talking about Kurt Cobain's death. He completely took me by surprise!

Yeah he acted like that all weekend. I think it was more nerves and just his awesome personality rather than intoxication...

I had a great time at the convention... Esp when in his presence but it was so expensive for the photos and autographs... Plus paying so much to watch the same movie and episodes... Anyway I don't mind because it meant meeting him which was well worth the money and Amber Benson did a great job with Chance as well as James! The first day of the convention I was so hung over though, had only 3 hours sleep in 48 hours so I had a really bad headache.

It was probably a natural high at having so many gorgeous gals turn up just to see him at the convention! ;)

And no, I didn't go myself. 'Twas too far away and I didn't have enough money.

It isn't in stores yet but they did say at the convention that is has just been bought to be distributed so that's great. Also you can buy it off the Internet as far as I know. Actually you buy an auographed poster of Amber and get the DVD for free.
