Hey guys.. I posted some stuff up a here a hell of a long time ago, so I thought I oughta throw some more recent sketches up. Some still need cleaning up, some have been cleaned up, and some I'll never touch again.

This was the page in my sketch book.. I wrote out the lyrics to "Goodnight" and "Imaginary" beside the pic I drew of the Fallen cover, and this orchid...but they got kinda smudged.

this is the Fallen cover pic cleaned up..

And then I had some fun with colour on photoshop.

This is a picture I drew from a dream I had. I was in the basement of this house with a family I didn't know, but I knew in the dream, that they were my family, and I was a little kid again. Amy was there too, only she was a little kid too. She was fighting with me over who got to live in the basement, and all I can really remember her saying was "I have seniority! This isn't fair!" Then I went and hid in a bathtub, and I think she was running over to yell at me. But then, she got there, looked at me, started crying, and ran away. I got out of this dusty bathtub, and ran to see if she was okay, and she turned around, and this is what I saw...

..freaked me out.

This is a picture I drew of my hand, but I drew my finger tips to look like they're rotting.

This is a picture I drew of Bjork from a Rolling Stones magazine cover.

This is a picture of a big headed alien I drew.

This is a sketch from a picture of myself taken when I was...judging by the size of my head...almost 4.

This is of a psychic in this old, paranormal research magazine of my ex-boyfriend's I was looking through.

I drew this after I miscarried.. It was really rough for me, and I had so many thoughts and feelings that were so hard for me to express of find words for..so I drew this.

This is the same pic, only I changed somethings in photoshop.

Oh wow, Becky! The shading of your sketches are outstanding. I like your style, the details seems to ring out in excellence. I'm wondering if you do a lot of stuff in the horror genre because that disfigured Amy sketch looked awesome to me.
I can see that your drawings carry their own emotions, my favorite being this one:

Hoping to see more soon!

you are an awesome drawer, i love the psychic/gypsy one. It reminds me of an old movie poster, like an Alfred Hitchcock movie or something... very eerie. ;)

your drawings are so expressive, and it's so obvious that they come from your heart. i'm really sorry to hear about your miscarriage. x

Thanks guys.. I'm really flattered you like my stuff.

This is the colour version of the nightmare-Amy one..

This next one is really childish.. I drew it forever ago from an "Oh My Goddess" manga when I was obsessed with anime, and it still resides on the inner front cover of my 6 year old sketchbook..(photobucket always scales stuff down so much)

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v168/homogenic/2-1.jpg

The quote is from my favourite Anne Rice novel Blackwood Farm, that reads "One can feel desperate at any age, don't you think? The young are eternally desperate. And books, they offer one hope - that a whole universe might open up from between the covers, and falling into that new universe, oe is saved."

this last one still needs a lot of work, and isn't even really finished. I love tattoos, and people with them. There's something about them that are so beautiful to me..the whole idea of it is..

let me know what you think.

Nightmare-Amy looks ten times creepier colored, which is awesome! I liked the tattoo you drew in the last one, it's really beautiful. Keep it up!
