i'm a webmaster and forum moderator (not for EvBoard), and if i might say, this message board seams like a huge mess. now, i know that the mods seam to be getting complaints of banning or deleting and stuff so apparently they are doing their jobs, but seriously, the amount of irrelevance in this board is terrible. so people shut up and let them do their jobs and quit posting stupid crap because its so repulsive and it makes this site so hard to navigate. i've spent 45 minutes looking for something to reply to or a forum to post in and its so cluttered...*shutters*

sorry...i hope that didnt offend anyone or anything, but this doesnt seam like a nice place for Ev fans to communicate anymore.

I always found it really interesting that whenever we get one of these 'helpful suggestions' that they never seem to leave the link to their own site. Everyone wants to think they can do it so much better but they sure seem to be afraid of opening themselves up to any criticism, or either having people discover they're running a forum with 5 people on it.

What I don't get is that usually all these random people who don't even give suggestions (with less than 10 posts, 1 in this case) come here and criticize the board. I'm sure that it may appear overwhelming for someone when they don't bother to come around regularly. I for one find this place very organized. I suggest taking some time and getting to know the board some before making a thread about how this place is a mess.

And well I've been a member of EvBoard for ages. Like ages. Like before the crash :eek: (grr stupid crash busted my whole account I had to start again), well anyway, h2a, you are a cock. I have my own site (wow a whole 17 members :cool: ), and thats hard enough to manage. To manage this number of people, I think the Mods and ToB deserve thanks, not a telling off. I'd like to see you try and manage a forum this big. I know I wouldn't try.

my post regarding the mess on this site....was suddenly turned into a bashing party, only by moderators of this very site. thats dissapointing. my post was only created to help encourage people to use your site in a more friendly way and for people to stop being stupid and to realize the mess that THEY have made it. NO kidding the moderators are doing their job the best they can with the quantity of people! i even stated that! only for them to attack me and allow me to be attacked? i hope everybody doesnt get that sort of welcome. i'm a nice person. i've been following ev's progress for some time. tried to register for evboard for a very long time, but denied because i missed the part that you couldnt use part of a songtitle, halfway2anywhere, as a username. so i'd like to pretend that i wasn't so insulted, and i'd like to revoke anything that may have offended anyone. sorry about that guys.

Your suggestions might have been well received if your post count hadn't been 0 at the time you made the thread, and if you hadn't just joined merely 6 days ago.

There is a sticky at the top of the introduction forum about usernames. Perhaps that would be better seen someplace else before new kids register, but it is there clear as day. It's also in the FAQ. Make friends with the FAQ and you should do fine.

I'm locking this to prevent any further stoning from EvBoard members, as I don't think it was necessary in the first place.

Also, if I may say, none of the moderators in this thread attacked you. Just goes to show what EvBoarders will do when left to their own devices.
