I really want that game - I was going to buy it but then realised it wouldn't run on the computer I had at the time.. but I have a new, much faster PC now so hopefully I'll remember to go buy it soon.
It's only £5 on Play.com.. hmm..

When does Blood Rayne the movie and the second game come out?
Does anyone know plot details for any of them?

I guess you like it based on it's dark vampire styling. Well, the game is awful. Bad controls and less-than-stellar gameplay.

Yeah, but slicing Nazis to pieces is funny :D

I heard a little about BloodRayne 2.
From what I remember, her father (and possibly brother [but I may just be making that up... sorry can't remember]) is in it and is the villain. He's looking for something called 'The Shroud' that will make sunlight ineffective against vampires. Which basically means a lot of trouble for the humans.
Also, a lot of time has passed since the first game, and I think the sequel is set in the present.

I think the games are hilarious- at the very beginning when humans or zombies or w/e attack the church, it was so funny to play with the last one. One time, i just dashed to it, kicked it, and knocked its torso off the legs. The legs kept walking and i laughed my ass off.

Hehe the best part for me was whenever you would hack a guys arm off and he would run about screaming for a bit.
Also, slicing people up in slow-motion was pretty cool ;)

The first game was relatively enjoyable, but the overall control was REALLY subpar. I do have hope for the second one, looks to be a vast improvment. :)
As for the movie....my hopes are dim, but they're there. Kristanna Loken (T-X in Terminator 3) is going to be the lead. Ben Kingsley, Micheal Madsen, Michelle Rodriguez and William Sanderson will also be in the movie.
While the casting looks interesting, the thing which has me frightened is the fact that Uwe Boll is directing, he's useless. His last last movie was the acclaimed House of the Dead, which I still want to kill myself for wasting the time to watch. At least I didnt pay for the damn thing...

Here's a wierd one! Big buzz over the last couple of weeks as the "Bloodrayne herself", aka a CGI character will be appearing in PLAYBOY naked to promote BLOODYRAYNE 2.
My god, Video game companies are going to extremes to promote games these days.. First Microsoft plugging Halo2 for Xbox with the Alternate-Reality-Game based at Ilovebees.com, and now this.. what's next?

Personally, I think the movie itself will be dark gothic cliche vampire crap, especially on account of the director/writer of it. Unfortunately, I will end up contributing to the movie's success by going to see it anyway. It might be neat.

I will go see it, but with the director's reputation, it puts the whole film in a bad light and it hasen't even been released yet

I just got BloodRayne on Xbox last Saturday, to rent, at Blockbuster. I am on Level 3 (I think) where there are all those mounds of lands and then water - where you have to kill all the bio-mass spider things, and you have to look for more survivors, after Mynce and Rayne find the gravedigger, Jean.
