Yeah, that is terrible, I heard on the news that 7 were killed and 100 were injured, no aussies were killed i dont think. I feel real bad for the indonesians killed, why do they have to keep getting killed when the bombings are aimed at us. i dont mean that the bomb should of killed australians, just that, argh dammit dont worry. I just wish all of this would stop.

this is shit. don't know whay we can do about it though, exactly. hope those responsible have the balls to come forward so we know who to hate for the next few months til the next one..

I heard about this a couple of hours ago, and i've been checking updates on it since.
The death toll is now up to 11.
From what i've heard it was a pretty darn powerful bomb, it left a 3m crater in the ground. I think we are just lucky that the death toll wasn't a lot higher.

I really feel for these innocent Indonesian people. Whatever little amount of tourism they had back after the Bali bombings will surely have diminished again, which is very sad because so many families rely on it to run their businesses and keep their family alive.

You know what, i pray for the day when we can go a week without some terrorist attack, suicide bombings, casualties of war, etc... but somehow i can't see that happening any time soon :(

none, there was only some with minor injuries, all the people killed are believed to be Indonesian.

even that's still horrible. terrorists suck poo poo's.

Im so sick of this stupid terrorism. On Ten news they said 8 people are dead and 150 wounded. :(

I don't know how I feel about the bombing, but I do feel really sorry for the Indonesians who have to put up with shit like this all the time. *shakes head*

I'm not worried about it in terms of something happening here, but it is unsettling.

I dunno about nothing to do with it but our own government's decisions definitely have much more to do with JI's motives.

On the front page of today's newspaper there was a picture of an Australian child that was almost killed in the blast, it is horrible. I wish everybody just backed off..and right after the Russian Hostage thing as well...:(:(:(:'(:'(

There was a 5 year old Indonesian girl who had just got Australian citizenship and was at the embassy with her mum. The blast killed her mum and the girl's skull was penetrated by shrapnel, she's in a hospital here and doctors say even if she recovers the right side of her body will be paralysed because of the damage caused by the shrapnel to her brain. :(

:( that's no fair. they don't think about the suffering of innocent bystanders. like to see what they'd do if we did that shit to them and did it to their family. i'm sure they'd be pissed off to .

If I thought the goverment were as good intentioned as they try to convince us they are I'd be all for the defence force too. But I don't want to be a terrorist in a uniform killing civilians and saying it's a pre-emptive strike that's supposed to prevent further terrorism. It is terrorism! But it's ok because Iraqi lives aren't as valueable as American lives (votes) are to Bush... although.. lots of Americans have died in the mess too. It's a pity we can't vote in the US elections :rolleyes:

I think this Aussie guy, the father of the young girl who got injured in the attack... he needs to realise that his daughter already has a father. :( Poor kid, I hope that she gets enough love and support to see her through.
