Anybody here from Bosnia? I've seen there are a few of you from Croatia so that's as close as it got so far. I'm originally from Bosnia but live in Buffalo at this time :p . So if anyone is from Bosnia, please stand up :) .

I'm from Sarajevo. My family left when the war started and I've lived in England ever since. :x

yay i'm so happy!!!!! *hugs* I'm from Bosanski Novi and we left in 1992 and lived in Germany for 6 years, then in 1998 went back to Bosnia (Bos. Kurpa) and then in Dec. of 2000 we came here to Buffalo. So you thinking about going back?

I've been back once to visit, I didn't like it too much. I would never go back to live there.

I'm an English citizen, I've got an English passport, and the only language I speak is English (yes, I've forgotten how to speak Bosnian...), so I consider myself pretty much English... :x

ah I see. well I don't think I'll live there again either but I'm sure that I'll go visit since I have a lot of family there. I still think it's a very beautiful country though....

I have a lot of family there aswell, but getting there is such a pain. I've lived in England for over 12 years, which is double the age I was when I left Bosnia. I've visited family over there once, and that was enough for me. I barely remembered some of them, and it's hard when you don't speak the same language.

i bet it is. we went back in 1998 and it was practically meeting your family which you've only seen in pictures. was really tough and now we're here and it ain't easy getting there from america.... i also left when i was six sure was something going to germany and moving around all the time. i'm really sick of moving and that's why i'll stay here.

Yo I'm from Sarajevo, but moved in Belgrade in 2000 It's so strange, I been on all kinds of boards and everywhere there's whole bunch of people from Bosnia, Croatia, Serbia. I'm glad that I'm not alone (the only one from former YU) on this board, hope to see ya more around :cool: Vidimo se uskoro!!!
