anyone know if the Broken video is gonna come onto kerrang!? and if the single will be released over here?

i assume it will be sometime semi-near the release of Punisher in the UK, if its going to be the title track then im sure it would be released, but then again i could very easily be wrong!

They're going on a tour overseas this month. You should start hearing Broken and seeing the video any time soon.

Broken should be released on music channels in the next couple of weeks because the UK release date is July 5th! If we have to wait longer then there is a possibility that it wont do really well.

it's like ef; it took forever to release. was ages ago the broken video was recorded i think? and ef got delayed about two months and we didn't even know which song it'd be that was released for a while!

i think broken will easily do better than ef because it's had more promotion with ef having basically none and only getting to #24 (despite being the most radio-friendly song along with bmtl i guess).

i've been mainly listening to it on my pc. there's a stream on the seether website now too although it cuts off the end i think, around when the strings come in. also can't stop listening to thoughtless! both songs i'd listened to a few times before the gig but loads after!

ooh lacuna coil, saw their swamped video a couple of times too, liked them as well before i'd even heard of seether! like all three bands but ev the most obviously or i wouldn't be on here or at least not as much! hehe

I love LCs song Heaven's A Lie. My friend (the Amy-esque singer) sent it to me along with the video and I've become attached to it now. The cd I want is a double release with loads of acoustic songs on the second disk, so I'm looking forward to it :D

Meh, I wouldn't trust that site anyway. They put up a lot of rubbish on there and they don't update it as often as they should, and half the stuff they sell in the stores isn't ever featured on the site. I find it's better to just drag my arse down to HMV and just ask one of the people behind the counter.

Speaking of which, when I asked in HMV, the guy didn't know what song 'Broken' was, he'd never heard of Seether, and he barely knew who I meant when I said 'Amy Lee'. In fact he didn't even know that, I had to say 'Amy Evanescence' and spell out 'Evanescence'. Stupid thing was, I had one of my Ev T-shirts on, with 'Evanescence' clearly written on the chest, yet he still required me to spell it out for him... so unsurprisingly when I asked if he could tap 'Broken' into their little computer-stock-thing there, he didn't manage to find it listed on there at all. Frankly I wouldn't be surprised if it was on there and he just didn't know how to use the damn stock-list thing. I don't think HMV staff are noted for their intelligence... */mini-rant*

Heh, I get that too. Grannies seem to always take some sort of interest in me. The other day in town on the bus the granny behind me started telling me about all her relations, when they were born and when they died. Dunno why. Then she just stared at me. I mean really, stared. It was creepy.

getting back on-topic, I heard Shaun say in an interview that he though Broken was going to be out sometime at the end of this month.

I always get attacked by grannies on the bus. And on the train. And at bus stops. They all feel compelled to tell me the story of their life. Is Disclaimer II actually any good? I'm sorted on the original Disclaimer, but I've only heard two tracks from Disclaimer II (Fade Away and Fine again, also my favourite two from the original Disclaimer, and then of course there is Broken with teh Ames), and I noticed in town basically every music shop has tons of copies in, so obviously they expect it to sell really well, so is it any good? Broken is definately on the music channels here and i'm gald it is. I woke up on saturday morning round a m8s with a hangover and was pretty annoyed but then turned on the tv and Broken just came on Scuzz. Cool video Amy looks great in it the black angel wings look awesome. It came on again a couple of hours later on Kerrang

I have the Uk disclaimer II but i want the one with the extra tracks. Im gonna try and return mine tomorrow. The box was open when I got it so i was just able to get the cd in and out to listen to it without taking the security seals off. Hehe! :D

really? i got one when i was 16, i think when i turned 18 it got upgraded to switch but i don't remember, i'll get a new card anyway so it probably won't be solo anymore. you can use both with paypal etc but not on sites that require credit cards etc so i was lucky the whatsonwembley site allowed debit cards otherwise i'd have to get my dad to order for me and give him the money (almmost had to do that for the hotel too). ah what a pain! still, i can get disclaimer ii with all 18 tracks one way or the other.

I got the tickets on my mums credit card. She's got a few, and me and my brother each picked one to use, and we just pay her back. I don't know if I want a credit card, I'm really bad with money!!

The place I have to stay away from is HMV. I can't resist dvds when I have money, it's not fair! I got Underworld today and I fell in love with it. It's so great! And I saw Van Helsing yesterday too. That was fantastic! Kate Beckinsale's a good actress. All the way through Van Helsing I was thinking, is that her? And the Romanian accent was good. It's not often Britain turns out a fanstastic actress. Yay for Kate Beckinsale?

well i never checked, but the e-team or whatever it is on the o-site doesn't allow non-us members, then again they do send stuff (like dvds) for free, not paid, so i guess we'd pay for it to be sent abroad (would cost them even more to send abroad than to places in the us). i dunno... better look in their tos etc, that's even if there's anything i want to buy (hmm well i guess there must be something, it's ev, duh! hehe).

when i saw the advert for it on tv, i thought that ev should be on the soundtrack :p hehe, not too surprised amy likes it, wonder if the guys do; rocky watches horror movies i think, dunno about the others. ben moody's involved with a zombie movie though and david hodges said the undead quote (although i looked that up and i think it was a comedy, but still...), hehe.

that still amuses me... you're wearing dark clothing with black fingernails etc, scare others, but you're scared of a small black thing yourself :p hehe

i saw an interview with 2 members of seether on scuzz today! they were talking about broken and the ideas behind it! it was short but sweet! when shaun mentioned amy for a brief second his cheeks went a little pinker! awwww! and he has a daughter! i didn't know! how sweet!!!!!!! he was saying how much he misses her! he's really funny too! he was on screen for like 2 mins but he had me in stitches! they were talking about words they pick to use in sentences each day!!!!!

That must have been the one I saw a few days ago. I had flicked over to the next channel without registering it was Shaun and then I went, damn! And turned back. I think I must have seen like half of it.

My Van Helsing copy is not that good. The picture's bad and the sound is not so good. It's all echoey. So I'm sitting there trying to understand it, but still loving it! Oh and there's a jump at the end. I need to get a better copy. I was so hoping none of the major characters would... stick their spoon in the wall. But... never mind. That majorly sucked. She's one of my favourite actresses! Damn the movie makers for killing her off!!

How anyone can not like the film is beyond me. I thought it was great! And Hugh Jackman is always a welcome hero... mmm...

I have fallen out with HMV and seether's cd distributor. The disclaimer II version with the extra tracks is banned from the UK. The stores arent allowed to import it! How rude. Im just gonna get it in America but now i am without it for 2 months! GRRR

i'm not sure if it was down to seether? example being ev unable to get the version of mi they wanted on the album (mystary version), sony/windup chose instead.

so it'd be epic in the uk and windup in usa... i hope epic distribute a cd with as many songs in the uk as there are in usa for all their artists in the future!

I love the music in Underworld just the way it is, funnily enough. I went to get the soundtrack but it was solf out... and I want the extended version when it comes out, but it's not out yet in Britain! Wow I love that film! I watched it again today with my friend, and we both agreed that Selene could kick Trinity's (Matrix) ass!

About the locket thing... I did notice that was there and I did wonder why, but oh well. If she's going to be in the second one then I guess they will think of some way to get her in there!

I didn't think Niobi was all that good, the second and third Matrix films weren't as good as the first, but I do like the second one because of the freeway chase, which is very cool. Hey, I've met those twins from Reloaded, they're cool and they liked me!
