C'mon, how many fans are out there?

when Buffy was on the WB, I was a fan. Now that it's on UPN, it kinda sux.

angel is still kinda good, although how many times can a guy LOSE his soul??

yeah as i mentioned in the other thread...i am about as obsessed as you can get! ive watched buffy ever since it first started when i was in highschool! i have never missed an episode. (does that make me pathetic?) and yes i have the dvds...still waiting for season 4 to come out...except i havent bought the angel ones yet! buffy has definitely not been as good as it was up til season 5. season 6 sucked hardcore (bad joss for taking away tara)...except for the season finale with willow. but this season has been great...although a little too much spike for me! not a huge fan and i really wish wood had staked him last night! i used to be a spoilerwhore as well...but i havent been spoiled for this season...and it is definitely better! yeah now i really sound pathetic!!!! ok ill stop talking now!

still think the best line ever from buffy or angel was faith last week:

I've been a fan for almost 4 years standing. I like the characters but I especially identify with Willow, sans being a lesbian, Uber Witch and Jewish. :rolleyes: Yeah. Through BTVS, I discovered Angel and I hope that goes on for a few more seasons. I'm glad that BTVS is in its last season because it had to end sometime. It's had a good run and I've enjoyed all the adventures and laughs and tears. Buffy and Angel are among my favorite shows of all time.

I usually have to go pick up my husband when Angel lis on.. so I have two tapes of like 4 weeks that I haven't watched.. but last week I was home... so I watched it.....yeah Willow!!!!

I still have to catch up and find out why cordy is uber evil now, what is possessing her and stuff.. and I will watch tonight. I am just gonna watch it all out of order, but I don't care.

I have dvd's 1 & 2 of btvs, but been very broke so no 3 and no angel yet. Biggs should realize how patient I am... he figured out how to get me the 1st season for christmas even though it came out in Jan... I have been so quiet even though I can't buy them right now.


Anyway... rambled a little too much.... i love it, my friend and I used to call each other after the show (while the credits rolled)

I am gonna miss Buffy.. Tuesday's are going to be empty.

Angel I see just about every week or so though. I kind of like it better, has somewhat of a darker edge to it.

HUGE fan myself. Missed 2 seasons while in Illinois though, because it was still on WB and they just don't get the WB out there without cable. I've been watching all the repeat epi's on FX catching up on everything.

First of the last 6 epi's is Saturday at 8.

I heard whispers though that they were trying really hard to get Sarah to sign on for another season. I doubt she will. They've already started the crossovers to Angel for some of the characters. Those from Buffy that want to will be converging over to Angel.

Yes, sadly enough- Buffy is in it's last season. I dont' think they should do another spinoff.. That's just too much. I've watched it since BEFORE day one. I LOVED the movie. I saw it in the theater 5 times. Yes, now I watch it and realize it's completey stupid.. but hey, back in the day when I was a little Kristi, it was great!

I am also a big fan of Angel. I'm not as up to date on it, but I'm working on it. I've downloaded SO many ep's in the last monthish. Hopefully someday I'll just break down and buy the suckers!

I too am actually confused on why Cordy is evil. I mean, I've pretty much watched all of season 4, but I don't understand. Can someone please explain??

I have S1, S2, and S3 on DVD...And Angel S1.

I was ultra obsessed with it until they killed Tara. I've never actually mourned for a TV character before, but when S6 ended and they didn't reset and she was still dead... *sniff*

I drove to Birmingham to see Amber's movie back in September.

I was going to go to Moonlight Rising, but my money has to go towards moving.

I haven't been as into it this season because of the whole lack of Tara thing (she's my favorite character in fiction)... Kennedy needs to go away now.

well ive been watching angel religiously this season and i actually went kinda spoilerwhore for it as well...so i actually know the whole story behind cordy being evil...but im not gonna tell you because it has yet to be seen in the episodes...and i only know from reading all the spoilers. and trust me - the show is much better when you are unspoiled!

syd - i actually cried when tara died. it was soooo sad. i can only watch seeing red when i am really depressed and want to cry! funny thing is..i didnt even really like tara until season 6 and then they took her away. however i am one of the few people who actually LIKES kennedy!!

well i think she was all good until she tried to put angels souls back or something.. i was just thinking that maybe it was HER soul that got taken out (cause we saw that whispy stuff fly around if you recall) because she didn't seem bad in the beginning, she was all good and amnesiec and stuff

sorry, didnt mean to spoil it for you! she died like 2 ep's ago.. i wont' tell you how. that's how i get mine, i download them, because i ALWAYS have to work. it sucks, i hate it.. but hey it gives me somethign to do to unwinds..

so yes, you should definetly download, i would reccommend it. it's getting to the point where everyone is wondering what's going to happen, even the religious watchers are curious

im gonna miss buffy, its the only show that i actually look forward to. i dont think that it gets the attention it deserves, just because its a fiction show. and ive been a fan since season 1 and i dont think that its gotten worse, only better and now its gonna end.

i havent bought any of the dvds yet, mostly because i have no money...my sis has them all on tape anyways. i want to get the angel dvd's...it would be wierd to see glen quinn again.

my favorite episode's :

the musical episode

the willow revenge episode...the part where xander reminds willow about the yellow cryons is priceless, i was bawling

the episode where buffy dies...that also made me cry. when she was telling dawn to tell everyone everything

the episode where buffys mom died...that one hit to close to home, it was exactly how i felt when my mom died.

Those are all my fav's too... the ones I look forward to in repeats...along with the one where buffy gets Adam... too cool

I am a fan from the movie... took me years to figure out Joss created that too.. I thought the series was just a dark twist off..at first I didn't like it cause it was so different but my mom watched and got me hooked.

The name of the episode where Buffy kills Adam is Primeval. Superstar is the one where Johnathan is good at anything and everything. My favorite episodes to date are:

Primeval: Watching Buffy wail on Adam rocked!

Once More With Feeling: I'm not one for musicals but that episode was great! Anya doing her rock opera rendition on bunnies was hilarious!

The last three episodes of Season 6: I love seeing Dark Willow. I felt and sympathized for her even when she was attacking her friends. The action sequences and special fx were amazing. The climactic scene between her and Xander almost brought me to tears. The one thing that stopped Willow from destroying the world wasn't magic or superpowers but her bestfriend's sincere love and loyalty. I taped that episode and I sometimes watch that scene on mute while listening to Cold's End of the World. It's nice. I also liked Warlock Giles. "I'd like to test that theory". I rewound the ending to that part over and over again.

The Gift: That is by far the best episode I have ever seen. Everything about it was perfect. That's all I have to say. I love Spike's line. RE:Favorite Quotes Thread.

The Body: Really welldone and handled very realistically. I loved Joyce. May she rest in peace. Her and Tara I miss.

I love all the episodes but these and any Willow centric episodes are my favorites.

I totally agree, I haven't watched either in about 2 years, but since they've been gearing up for the series finale, I've been watching and they've been good again. They've brought Faith back (I love me some Dushku 8) ) and they're doing the whole crossover thing again. You might want to give it another chance. It sucks that they are getting good again, only to end the series, but at least they are trying to end things on a high note.

its not the best ep of the season...at least i didnt think so. but mainly because it very much a spike-centric episode and he is my very least favorite character. but there is some good/sad interaction between buffy and giles...ooh and drusilla makes an appearance which is always good!

Hush was the creepiest thing I've seen since I was a kid. The whole concept just blew my mind. And those demons, I think they were called the gentlemen, were the freakiest looking things to ever hit TV(except Rosie O'Donell, and Michael jackson of course :shock: )

My friend started watching in mid-season 5, and she's a big spike fan. i think every one that started watching late is.. but all of us "oldbies" are kinda neutral. I don't HATE spike, I kinda learned to like him a little more in season 6, can't really explain why tho.

Well as an oldbie, I actuallly like what they have done with Spike. He is dark angsty, and being on the side of good is just hilarious. And even now that he has a soul, he went through that little insanity thing (because of the first) and that got long, but now he is just Spike with a soul, Not William, and not all broody like Anget gets sometimes (not knocking the Boreanaz at all though.....yummers)

Spike transition most of the time made me laugh, james dry wit is pretty good. But the first time he moved me, was when Buffy died and he fell over crying... that was powerful.

Yah, Spike isn't bad.. in fact in this season, he's gotten quite a bit cuter ;)
I REALLY hope they don't do a spinoff about dawn.. i think the characters that want to keep going move over to angel.

ACK - the temptation! i used to go to that site multiple times a day..and it is really hard to stay away! be careful about getting spoilers..once ya start its hell to stop! but spoilerslayer is a really good source for accurate spoilers...there is also a really good message board that only talks about spoilers - i can give you the link but dont say i didnt warn you!

i'm not a big fan of reading EVERYTHING that is going to happen in an ep, i just like to get a general idea of how things are going to play during the show. like at the buffy guide home page, it's good. it gives just a few sentences on the episode.. that i can deal with

Didn't the Powers That Be send him back because there was still work to be done (involving him)? Or, he was going to be a major player in something huge, so it wasn't his turn to go. Something like that...lol

You know that would be the assumed explanation, since in the storyline we know that that would be something the powers that be would do, they just never said so.

actually it wasnt a new episode! it was from earlier this season..but it was still really good. i think it was the one episode that i havent absoutely hated spike!
one more week of reruns...the new episode will be on april 15th. i for one can not wait!!!!!

The suspense is killing me too. However, I think Buffy already told Spike what Cassie predicted and it wasn't I love you. It was in the episode where Spike got nabbed near the end. Right before the Keepers busted in, Buffy told Spike that she believed in him. Maybe that's what she would tell him one day or she loves him. I don't know but I seem to be leaning toward the former. At this point for me, all bets are off.

I like reading the little teaser spoilers. Like on the buffy guide homepage. They just sorta give a drift of what's going to happen, but it never gives away anything. It just sorta lets you knwo what's up.

It was a good episode. Really sad. Poor Connor, and yay Angel. Not yay in the "you're such a stud" but yay that he decided he could kill the woman he loved.

hmmm.. there are just a few ep's that i don't have, and that are HUGE on the net to download. it's taking forever, and i feel bad cause me and my roomie have our computers networked and he gets a slow connection because of the bandwidth i take up when i download. i wish it wasn't so expensive for dvd.. wait,.. i wish i even had a dvd player!

has anyone seen the new angel yet? it's taken about 3 days, and i'm only like 15 megs into downloading it.. only one, one ONE, count em ONE person seems to have it on their computers (well at least 1 person that has kazaa) and it sucks, ebcause it won't download.. i was just wondering if it was even worth it...

Anyone who's downloaded the new ep off Kazaa prolly found out that there's a fake version going around... the 94MB file is actually an ep of Charmed or something. Go for the 91MB file if you haven't already.

Just a warning for those on dialup, it's gonna suck to find out that you spent 3 days downloading a fake ep.

OMG Buffy soo Pissed me of when the acted like she would let Dawn Die again.. its like she is forgetting everything that makes her the Slayer.. she was meant to Die in Dawns Place thats why the Slayer was Chossen to protect the key cause no other ordinary Joe would understand that kind of sacrifice in the end...And i have the feeling that she is going to Bite the bust one Final time... cause of that big Floating Eye Told Anya and Giles about the Slayer line being to dilauted.... Buffy was never meant to come back the second time. Now that she is back she is throwing things out of wack.. Yeah Joss is setting it very its was sutle but if you watch and listen you see where is he going with things... DAMN i want to do work like him.

The last ep was the best this season, minute for minute.


"Malcolm Reynolds" as potentially the best evil minion since Mr. Trick in Season 3... god he was so creepy as the evil preacher...

And of course... FAITH returns... that made the freakin show right there, for me at least...

We all notice how Faith and Dawn knew each other? Even though Dawn wasn't there when Faith was actually in Sunnydale. 'Cause Faith predicted Dawn's arrival in dreams at the end of Season 3 and the middle of Season 4. Continuity rocks.

And that scene with Faith and Spike? OMG... instant chemistry. By far the best scene of the season with the possible exception of the very end of the season premiere. I'm heavily biased though, Faith and Spike are my two favorite characters. They can get it on with my blessing.

Anyone else like Sarah better when she was playing The First Evil than New Buffy? She actually let loose and had a little fun for once.

That scene with the principal (DB Woodside is so great) and Buffy was so fun... Buffy acted like Old Sparky Fun Buffy and it was neat to see. I wish they'd kept more of that.

And finally, some real death and permanent injury. It was uncomfortable to watch but it's about freakin' time one of the Scoobies got hurt... seven years of fighting demons and they escape with a few scratches and maybe a broken arm? Yeah, that's realistic.

Well I did a little bit of research when I was writing the post, mostly to get the episode titles, but I remembered most of it. I didn't get it at the time it first aired but when I rewatched a lot of old episodes stuff started to come together. This stuff is all over the web too so it's not like I am some genius. There's tons of little continuity treats like that in this series, there's prolly even more that I missed.

actually when they first wrote that - they hadn't planned on having the series continue past season five. so it was originally supposed to be foreshadowing buffy's death not her saving dawn!

they didn't do it so much on wb. wb is more consistent when airing eps of shows. but upn is very random.
i think that the last five or so will be shown back to back with no skipped weeks. we are getting into may sweeps...so hopefully we will get all new buffys all the time!

I'm getting about 4 versions... 73, 76, 110 (all AVIs), and a big 400+ MPEG. I hate when people relabel their shit as a new episode of a show, just cause they know a million people will download it from them and boost their rating on Kazaa... rating whores.

I'm so glad I'm spoiler-free this season. 'Cause in the past few eps, I've sat up and yelled "OH MY GOD" on more than one occasion.

I don't know....I'm loving the last few eps(Faith is, was and will be my fav) but next weeks just looks like "the orgy episode." Everybody gets to get laid one last time before they all die. (and I'm totally just guessing on that, I'm not about spoilers) That's really been my biggest complaint with the show since the upn switch. As soon as they get something good rolling they completely derail the storyline with alot of uneccessary stuff like a musical for instance. There's only 3 episodeds left. They should be filled with nothing but action and unexpected plot twists, not gratuitous sex scenes.

And before anyone starts talking about revoking my "man card" let me just say I'm all for gratuitous sex scenes, I just think its bad timing this late in the story.

yah don't be dissing the musical.. i'm a totally buffyfanatic and i liked it, as did all buffy freaks i know (meant in the nicest way of course) it actually had a lot to do w/the rest of the season if you paid any attention to it.

I'm so pissed! Last night my power went out and I missed Buffy!! :( I'll be sad to see it go. Been a Buffy fan for half my life ya know!! :D

Maybe Giles the character wasn't making an Office Space reference, but whoever wrote the script almost certainly was. They are way too savvy with their pop culture references for that to be an accident.

OK well Buffy still hasn't come on over here on the West Coast, not for another hour. But of course people in the other time zones who see it 3 hours before me like to get their videocaps online at lightspeed so the ep is already available on Kazaa and from what I can see... there's one at 110K which is just last week's ep relabeled to boost some n00b's user rating, and one at 87K which is the real one.

So I haven't seen this week's but we never got around to discussing LAST week's and I have a few things to say, mostly about the end where the Scoobies made Faith the big boss lady.


OK so you're cheesed at Buffy because you think she's being impulsive and reckless, so what do you do? Vote Buffy off the island and put FAITH in charge??????? What the hell? I love Faith, but she is the POSTER CHILD for impulsive and reckless! I agree that Buffy was getting a little speech-happy and slave-drivey but geeze. Put Giles back in charge if you want someone rational.

Also, seems to me that it wouldn't be that hard to beat Caleb. I mean he doesn't use magic, he doesn't breathe fire or anything, he's just super strong. Buffy and Co. should just gang-tackle Caleb and hack the shit out of him with every weapon they can find. They're making the same mistake the vamps always make when they fight Buffy... coming one at a time even though they have a numerical advantage. I think if Willow put some sort of holding spell on him and then Buffy, Faith, Spike, Principal Wood, and maybe Giles and a few of the Potentials (Kennedy, Amanda) just all ganged up on him, they could take him out pretty easy. Andrew should suggest this, I mean the strategy is straight out of D&D or Everquest... you gang up on a powerful baddie and then it's just straight-up hack-and-slash. Experience points galore. I mean, duh.

Well, Caleb was surrounded by Bringers so I can understand how it would be hard to gang up on him but still throw in 2 Slayers, a vampire, some magic from Willow and one or two potentials at him altogether and he'll have his ass whupped.
