The area I'm always at is dangerous...almost gotten mugged several times in heavy rain and in broad daylight....i'd like to go driving around and if i saw anyone on the street, get out of my car and run towards them yelling. but then again i dont feel like getting shot or something. a lot of peoples here have guns for protection...my english teacher told us another one of her gun stories today that took place in chicage, the southside...shes got a handgun with her like all the time except for when shes teaching i think. its not really fun on the street especially at night...so ..so much for that idea too

Then in Chapel Hill it's a rich place with like 90% white people. i guess people would trick or treat there, its pretty safe. unfortunately i dont know my way around chapel hill. not too well.

Are there really safe neighborhoods out there with people being able to trick or treat every year or something? i guess so...obviously

Oh yes, I'm going full out this year for Halloween. Well actually Halloween day during school. I'm almost done with my pretty corset (just need to add eyelids!), and I already have the Amy looking going under sleeves done. I'll probably make some kinda shreddy skirt to go over my pants. And I'll deck out in makeup (which I never do) and go full out. Oh yea. I'm excited. I'll post pics of my costume when it's done and in it's full glory.

And at night, I'll dress up as the grim reaper, sit on the porch, with the candy bowl in my lap, and force the scared little kids to come up to me to get their candy.

This year I went as a Goth Fairie, my mom sewed a fairie dress that was made out of purple and greenish mixed fabric, i had purple and black striped knee sox, and of course wingz!! wish i had pic to upload, but i forgot to take sum *slaps head* oh and my makeup was really sweet, i kinda copyed sum stuff that i've seen amy done :D wOOt!

this year for halloween im going as a ninja pirate..not to original but o well. i remember a couple of years ago i was a car mechanic from gotebo(very small town in oklahoma, the firetruck is like a 81 ford f150 with a water hose)..and before that i was a hippie-cowgirl...sorta what crawl became in..shiat i cant remember..except i was the girl version of that.

I'm not dressing up. I haven't trick or treated for almost 3 years. Yep. If I decide to go, I'll probably wear my usual clothes, which is like...rocker-ish. Except, I'll be more metal. I think I'll die my hair some crazy color or something and rollerblade around the neighborhood. Eh. Maybe some of my friends will decide to go. It sucks becuase it's already like...45 degrees and halloweens not for a while. It's gonna get colder... :(

Due to how much Halloween sucked last year, I will not be dressing up this year. It doesn't feel like Halloween when it's 80 degrees outside. *sigh*

I haven't thought of anything yet, but last year I went as a bottle of Ketchup because I have a ketchup shirt. Me and a few of my friends were planning to go as Calvin/Hobbes/Tracer Bullet/Spaceman Spiff/ you get my point. I don't think we'll do it though. One year I went as a Christmas Present and I might go as a Birthday Cake this year because my birthday's the day after Halloween.

I'm excited lol. I'm going ALL out this year.

I'm going to be a fallen angel. And I'm putting together my own costume. It's Amy-inspired, but it's not Amy. lol. I'll post pictures after Halloween, but I'll give you a short run-down of what I'm wearing:

Black velvet corset
Black long skirt (possibly w/ petticoat)
Black long-sleeved shirt from Old Navy (hey it's gonna be cold!)
Red/Maroon tank over shirt (but both under the corset)
Long, wavy black wig
Maroon/Black dark angel wings from Party City
Ankle boots from Payless

I might add a couple things as I think of them, but that's what I'm going to wear.

Oh and I brushed my hair over my face so you could hardly see my face (I knocked on the door, and when they answered they would just see someone with their head down then I'd quickly look up and scare the shit outta them). I got a lot of treats with that costume :D

Our favorite customes were when we dressed as CaveWoman and caveMan. Had it all, bones, short furry skirts, furry boots, teeth necklaces, LOTs of eyebrows hahaa, leather braclets, drag around a Bone and wooden hammer. ooog-oogin all night. Halloween has got to be the best holiday ever.

I'm probably not going anywhere, which is unfortunate because I have a skirt that would be perfect to wear. It's made out of this shiny material and black with a reversable dark grey side. Originally almost ankle length.. but it got into an accident (my mom accidentally ran it over with the vacuum cleaner :mad:). It was a pretty new skirt and I didn't want to get rid of it, so I was planning on hemming it, but never got around to it. It would actually be pretty good for Halloween as it is, ripped an inch or so below the knee and the part that got ripped off could be used for something I'm sure. I wish I knew someone who could use it.

I am planning to dress up as one of the characters from the movie Hero. It should be pretty easy because I'm asian. I found the boots already, just need to make a flowing white robe.

I was originally gonna be like a rock faerie type thing, and later (like in april, heehee) i decided to be Amy as a rock faerie, like in one of the concert pics i have. And he's like "well, okay, I'll be Shaun then." so yea, I'm having a party this year with like 9 girlfriends and a few guys. My boyfriend's coming early and we're gonna pass out candy so my parents can cook some stuff for the party. But the wings are really cool, and the dress is pink/black with this little metal skull things at the bottom of the corset. Itr's cute, and i have fishnets and my black boots.

I was going to go as Robin from Witch Hunter Robin, but I didn't have the money to buy the material to make the dress. Maybe next year. I'll just go as Amy from the Broken video.

I WAAAAS gonna be summoner yuna from FFX but I kept putting off making my costume and finally I decided hmm what would be easy and cheap..and then I thought...SAMARA from the Ring. so that's what I'm doing. I already had a really long black wig. I went to the thrift store and bought an old white dress for like 8 bucks and I'm set. I have a picture too. I'm going to see if I can post it..I posed in my costume in front of the t.v. and hey y'all might not think it's scary but I actually scared myself looking at the picture hahaha

I -should- be gettin the last accessory for my Kroenen costume- the Iron Cross... I wont have the 10 lbs fiberglass helmet or sword- but i hope i can still pull this off well. Ill definately post pics.

There are some good costumes sites out there. If you do a google search, the first like two pages are almost all good :)
