Any CSI: Crime Scene Investigation fans out there? If not, this is a sad, sad day for me.
We watched the first season in a Forensics class I took in high school. Very fun class. I got to really enjoy the show, though I do not watch it regularly, I watch it when I get the chance to.

I second that, Kaydee. Though I'm more of a fan of Law and Order: CI, probably because it's the first one I picked up on. I love it how CSI concentrates on the scientific process to figuring out who dunnit and how there's a great blend of comedy (I love Greg!), random facts, and everything else. What I don't like is how this season is lacking due to the Miami spinoff and another one is on it's way.
I'm jealous! I wish my high school had a forensics class! That would be better than all the useless classes we have like most of our business classes.

It was an awesome class. All we did was watch CSI, and HBO's Forensic
Files or whatever and once the instructor set up a mock murder scene and we had to break into groups and solve the mystery. The teacher was great though. He often would just blow off class, break out his axe and play for entire period. And get this, it counted as a unit of Science and not an elective, and it got me out of having to take physics! Lucky me.

The show really sucks you in! I don't care much for Miami either. Mostly because I can't stand Horatio, and heck, there's nothing better than the original. Favorite characters? Episodes? I absolutly loved Stalker (season 2), it truely freaked me! I was staring the at ceiling as I walked around my house the rest of the night, hehe. My mom hates it, too. Yet she watches Cops when she's bored, which I don't see how that's much better...

I am proud to say that I got my boyfriend hooked on the show and he's bought me seasons 2 and 3 on DVD :D
What's everyone's favorite CSI quotes??
Mine:
Catherine: I haven't had sex in 6... no, 7 months!!!
Grissom: How can I help?
Brass: Hey what are you doing after work?
Grissom: More work. Ever get the feeling when you just can't put your finger on something?
Brass: There's something else you can't put your finger on besides the clock out button?
*Sarah walks out of the autopsy of the liquidated guy found inside a duffle bag and smells disgusting*
*She passes Greg in the hallway*
Greg: You smell like death.

Yup!!! And Gary Sinease (sorry I don't know how to spell his last name... for those of you who don't know who he is, he's the dude who played Lt. Dan in Forest Gump) is the lead CSI!!!!

I think they modeled the people in the NY CSI too much like the Miami ones. I mean the two main women look pretty much alike and then Gary howeveryouspellhislastname and Horatio practically talk the exact same, all super dramatic like. My favorite CSI is the Vegas one. Plus it's neat because I'm living here and I always see stuff on the show I've seen for real. You almost feel connected to the drama, as if it were real. I just hope they tone the seriousness down a little in all of their episodes. The Vegas CSI season finale last night was all like bum-bum-bum ta-daa and everyone was talking as if everything they said was soooooooo important. They need to chill out and act a little more relaxed.

ah people post here more. I love talking about CSI with people...I hardly get to do that enough. I know people dont want CSI to be a soap opera and neither do I but its always fun to entertain the idea of relationships in your head...so I have to ask.. what ship(s) do you support? Im a total Snicker (sara/nick shipper) Ive written a few short horrible fanfics involving the two and I cant read enough of fanfics others have written. I have so many CSI quotes...just way too many to post. I cant wait for Sept 14 and Sept 23 (the release of season 4 od dvd in the us and the premier for season 5 respectively) :D Im a CSI dork basically. I love the original and refure to watch the others. I tried watching Miami but I just cant and the idea of the New York one makes me sick. I love NY believe me I do but the idea of another spin off no matter where it was makes me want to smack the produces and jerry bruckheimer (sp) upside the head. I agree with the majority of the CSI cast when they say they dislike the idea of spinoffs. To quote Petersen "What are we, Mcdonald's?" Oh well....nothing I can do about it. Well... thats enough of my ranting and babbling for one post...

Well, I was watching CSI last night and I nearly threw up.
HA, the storyline was about a model and she was anorexic, or that body dismorphia(sp?) thing, anyway, the showed her picking her flesh with a toothpick or something. HAHAH it was great for the grossout factor, but I was eating my dinner at the time. But that serves me right...I know not to eat while watching CSI.

I so so so love CSI : )
When nobody used to know what it was in Argentina, I saw it !
I personally like most the Vegas one, I so love Grissom and his always cool comments ! He's the best !
But I have to say that Horatio from the Miami one, puts like more heart into the cases, like if every one of them touches him, and he looks so much more sweet and caring than Grissom.
That's for me, that main difference between CSI and CSI:Miami.
I don't know about that NY one, I saw the last week an episode of the Miami one when to solve a case Horatio travels to NY and meets that guy you referred to.
Anyway CSI is the most realistic, so much well done show ever and I love it when it's disgusting..heh..

The one with the model was Hunger Artist the finale from season 2 i think. Hehe i remember that one. Grossed me out too but I know not to eat during CSI. If only they would have a CSI convention with the actors there or at least George and Jorja...they are my favorite... Hehe. But I love them all really (the actors and characters on CSI) I just cant get enough. I was watching it for about 2 almost 3 hours yesterday before I had to go to work. Its sad really. And just 5 minutes ago I sent out my tape for VH1 (hope tis not too late) for their obsessed show... one thing they are going to do is show people who are obsessed with CSI. Hey maybe some people from here should contact VH1 to do an Obsessed show with fans of Evanescence... Im sure there are a ton of people here who would send in their tapes and try and probably get onto the show.

CSI Moves into Season 3

We watch CSI every week at home... every monday at ten pm :p ... I like the cases and the way the solve them and so on, but we always laugh at the way they talk, it's pretty funny... and when Grissom gets philosophical, that's funny as well... it's one of my favourite series now, but can't get better than the X files! Sometimes you can tell what hes going to say or he says something so cheesy its like "OMG Grissom...shut up" lol like the time with the rat coming out of the woman's mouth and he said "looks like she ratted herself out" or the time in little murder where the dwarf/little person was killed and hes like "it looks like we have a little murder"

Initial reaction was haha no they cant do that ... thats a bunch of crap. Then when I found out it wasnt a joke...it was serious I got upset. Those two are my favorite. I started out watching the show just because I thought the guy who played Nick (whose name and a ton of other info I know now) was cute. I hope CBS gets them back because it would mean trouble for them and CSI if they dont. I can tell you know that CSI wont be the same with Nick/Sara or the parts recasted with different actors. It will ruin the dynamic/chemistry of the show and that was about the only thing keeping it at higher ratings than CSI Miami. That and they will lose a ton of fans/viewers if they are gone. Please get all your friends and tell people in your other messag board sto write to CBS and express your discontentment at the firing of George Eads and Jorja Fox. Go to CBS.com ... at the very bottom on the left is a link for feedback click it put in CSI for the show and click complaint and rant away. If they get enough complaints maybe they can strike up a deal with the two and keep the show as it is - perfect.

get everyone you know to sign it to. its up to about 430 right now.. the more that sign the more cbs will see how much they have royally screwed themselves here. i talked about this with my dad and he said if helgenberger and petersen do what htey are supposed to they will also hold out until they get fox and eads back.... supposedly someone at imdb.com read an article that petersen and helgenberger called in sick also but they had "legitimate" health issues.... lets hope they all stick together... i dont care if that means the season premiere will be pushed back a month or 6 months as long as it still has the whole cast...

Jorja Fox, one of the two CSI: Crime Scene Investigation stars who was fired for failing to show up for work this week, has been hired back, the Associated Press reported today (Friday), citing a source close to the production. The wire service observed that no agreement has been reached on co-star George Eads, who said that he had simply overslept on the day of the shooting, but that Eads may be asked to return following his public apology on Wednesday.

Hate to be a dream crusher but think about it... they already ahve 2 spin offs... likelyhood of another is very little. And personally I hope they dont do any more. I was upset at Miami and then NY even though I live in NY and love it, I dont feel the need for my favorite show to have a series set there. They are already spreading the viewers and talent (writing wise) too thin and the story lines too. Another spin off would just make that worse. Unless the other CSI is only shown in S. American countries if they do a Buenos Aires spin off... If that is done, and it is completely seperate from CBS' CSI's then maybe they will do that... Who knows? TBPT are some crazy unpredictable people.

I think that, as far as I love the serie, I don't think they should have done the NY one, at first not even the Miami one, but after watching it for the last year, I kinda changed my mind, because it's just as awesome as the CSI Vegas. So, I don't know...
I guess I want that to be in here, just because it is where I live, and I think it will be a very big challenge for them... things in Argentina do not work as good as they do in the US, I mean, just thinking in the technology America has, and ours... yes, it will be a big challenge ! ;)

I agree with you guys, all of these spin-offs are spreading the whole thing too thin. I don't even think CSI: Miami was necessary, I'm sure everybody would've been content with just the original CSI show.

Hehe my sentiments exactly. The only episodes of Miami I ever watched were the one where they spun it off of the original and the one where they spun off New York...I dont plan on watching CSI NY...maybe the first to see how it is on its own...but thats if I bother to stay up and remember to watch it. Ill stick to my favorite graveyard shift :) Viva Las Vegas :D

i agree...csi (the original) is excellent and there was really no need to do a spin off...i'm not a huge fan of miami...and just some goss too...apparently for csi, ny, there was some talk last yr of having gillian anderson to star in it. she was offered the lead, but she turned it down :-( she would've been so perfect! guess she didn't want to be type cast, or maybe she's just taking a break...damn i miss the x-files...
Dollface
07-31-2004, 07:09 PM
Gillian Anderson is cool but her playing a role in CSI NY would've been too much like Scully in X-Files. Think about it, half the time in the X-Files she was conducting an autopsy or checking out crime scenes and stuff, and that is basically what she would be doing in CSI NY.

Any one else getting anxious...hmmm maybe not hte most appropriate word...hmmm antsy about season 5?? I cant wait until it starts. I was all hyped about the episode Viva Las Vegas before the whole firing situation...now thats going to be a few episodes into the season...but it'll be all good. I cant wait though because Nick and Sara will be working a case together... I dont want to spoil it by posting the spoilers that I read. I wonder what they are going to be doing for the season premiere now? I havent seen any spoilers or heard anything about it. And now instead of Season 4 comingo ut on dvd sept 14 its oct 12...::sigh:: almost a whole month...Although season 4 was lacking in the Nick screen time department I still want the dvds...and there were still some snicker moments... Any one here know how to take video clips from dvds onto your computer to make those music videos that others have made for movies and such? Ive wanted to do that for a while and I have a dvd player and windows movie maker on my computer. I just dont know what to do... Im not very computer literate. I know just enough to get by.

I'm still with my idea / question : Is there going to be a CSI Buenos Aires??
Why I am still wondering that? Well, yesterday I saw one episode of CSI Miami, it was about some fake money that got stolen, and they kept repeating Argentina, Argentina, Argentina's connections, oh, and Buenos Aires city too.
So, I'd already forgotten about ever having this show here, but yesterday my hopes came again to me, so, please, did any of you see this one episode, and do any of you have any news about they coming here? pleeease tell me !

As far as I know, they arent having one there. I havent heard anythign aobut it. And seeing as they are just starting with the New York spin off its unliekly they would have one in Buenos Aires...I hear someone post something like this over at imdb.com and then someone replied and told them they fell for a joke or something... it might just be a rumor used to raise the hopes of fans only to have it fall and splatter.... I dont know... All I know is I dont want any more damn spin offs ... -.- I loathe spin offs
The only spin offs I can stand are the Law and Order ones because they kind of cover different types of cases

Forensics is cool. I wish my high school had a class for it but its not that big of a place and they wouldnt have any one to teach it. It took a few years before htey got the research center. When I go to college I definately want to take some forensics course along with what ever I plan on taking. Although I dont believe I will persue a career is forensic science or be a CSI... Its just extremely interesting... Did anyone watch the repeat tonight? Fur and Loathing? Haha. It was a funny episode. I cant wait until Oct 12 when season 4 comes out on DVD. October is a great month for dvds... Ev and CSI ahhh Finally a reason to spend the money I hve been saving hehe. I wont be leaving my room for about 3 days. Haha me too. You have no idea how big of a relief that was to me. That helped make Jully 22nd the best freaking day for me ever. First I find out Jorja got rehired. Then I came onto the boards and Lia said she would give me her two extra tickets to the ev concert and I spazzed out...literally. I was running like a chicken with its head cut off. And then I came home and went straight on the computer to check the news about George and Jorja and I heard he was rehired... Ahhh best day ever! Haha... So what do you guys look foward to most with the new season? This is most likely their "jump the shark" season... Hopefully it will be as good as the first two seasons. Season three was ok ...season four was a little eh...Not quite as good as the first few seasons but still worth watching . :)

I signed up but I havent really gone. I always get computer problems when I go. Ill try to go again. I forgot my account information. If it isnt what I usually make it, Ill just sign up again. Ive heard its really good. The only episode Ive really heard about is Viva Las Vegas which was supposed to be the season premiere but has been pushed back to a fe episodes into the season due to the whole firing fiasco and then William Petersen irregular heart beat. Most of the info that comes my way i get from IMDB message boards and the yahoo groups I am a part of. The one thing that makes me, Im not sure of the right word to use, I thnk of the word wary but its not quite that..so Ill use it any way. The one thing that makes me a little weary of going to YTDaW is its very Gridle centered...I have nothing against Gridles, Im just so much of a Snicker at heart that ...I dont know...I kinda feel like Im betraying myself lol Im notsure. But its still a great site. Ill try to wrok on going to it more often and learning to see what hte Gridles do...although I will always be a snicker. :D

Im going to try and tape Without a Trace. Hehe oo and I cant wait until October ( season 4 on dvd and the ev dvd whoot whoot) Ive probably already said that about 5 times but its just so freaking exciting haha....

They keep making Nick look slow or dumb. At first htey really played that up...then they showed how he does know things (like in Bad Words withthe Curie point...the temperature at which magnets lose their magnetic force blah blah blah ...::cough:: 932 degrees farenheit ::cough::) and now they are going to make him look like a dork again?
I mean hello, he is from Texas and to quote the movie Miss Congeniality. "Of course he has a gun. This is Texas. Everyonehas a gun. My flourist has a gun."
So what happened in those spoilers just made me mad. Nick was on the Dallas Police force before transfering over to the LVCL...so the odds of somethng like that happening would be slim... but arg...darn powers that be...

Haha OMg that is a great idea. Like they has the Sara Sidle Appreciation Project... We need a Nick Stokes Appreciation Project. Haha Im serious we do though. Im not sure what we should do. I mean sure petitions are great but they only count as like one piece of mail/ one letter. Maybe we could like I dont know collect emails and letters from people saying in a nice way that Nick needs more screen time and needs to be taken more seriously as a character. And then print 'em all out and send them to CBS because they suck and sometimes need obvious things brought to their attention haha. I mean I love em to pieces for bringing us CSI but hate them from the two spin offs and the lack of respect for Nick... Where I am going with this? I have no idea...

But of course...All credit will go where its due... that is if I ever do anything about it. I always make plans and resolutions and then nothing happens. I need to get off my lazy butt and do something for once! haha...
So lets see... I wanna post something really on topic hehe about csi....lets see....
how has csi affected your life ? like what have you done since becoming a huge fan? how has your interest in the show manifested ? lol
i know ive used csi for projects in school and i entered that vh1 totally obsessed thing. i sent an email and the guy was like this is great send a 5 to 10 minute video and blah blah blah... sent it and never heard another word from him or about the show totally obsessed...not even in a vh1 commercial.. i wonder if the idea got scrapped?
but yea... that and ive spent loads of money...well my parents spent loads of money on csi merchanise - calender, board game, a few trading cards, one of the 8 autographed bikes, i bought the soundtrack, they got me the 3 seasons on dvd. my dad had made me a clock but i gave it to a friend for her birthday because i got her into csi
i have a tshirt and sweatshirt that says forensics on the back and las vegas police csi on the front hehe and i made an id badge because i was a csi for halloween this past year... and during break one night while watching csi i decided to make my own mini field kit with stuff i could find around my house
and my dad even printed out a booklet about 2 inches thick with real crime scene procedures and such... i read it... all of it -.- took about 2 days... hehe and i read the 2 books dealing with forensics that my school library had
i have also made a xanga that i post csi news up at and i plan to post pictures once i stop being lazy :)
and when season 5 starts , i made a xanga for each of the 5 main characters, i will use them to post what i think the character was thinkingduring/after what was shown in the episode
i had started on for sara towards the end of season 4 ...but i didnt like what i wrote so i gave it up...
ive also written a few fanfics, two arent finished...and it takes for ever for inspiration to kick in. i wrote one song fic using the song "forgive me" hehe ... ive mentioned ev in another one of my fanfics which is a WIP and i just recently wrote a short song fic using "solitude"... i wanna use more ev songs in the fanfics but i like writing romance/humor fanfics and if i were to use ev it would be more drama/angst which i have a hard time writing... ok this post is way too long

It was my Sweet Sixteen present... I said I would help pay for at least 100 dollars of it but my parents told me to save my money...Shipping was 100 and it finished at 355 so all in all it was 455 dollars.... i still didnt assemble it lol but its my most prized possesion... i think im getting hte computer games for christmas :)
i just cant seem to get enough of csi which shocked me when i said i would most likely boycott csi if they didnt bring george and jorja back heh... that was a scary time (wow its been a month already ...holy crap)
this is how it is for me... i find something...get inerested in it... become obsessed and stay that way usually for a few month and then move on... but csi has been a constant obsession for about a year and something ive been interested in for about 2 years... so haha it has a lasting effect... and ev.... well im not as obsessed with ev and i am with csi but its up there haha...
how are the books?
i want to read them i just never have time to read any more.

they all signed it in different places with silver paint pens and its a black bike... i dont wanna ride it even after i put it together only because i dont want to risk it getting ruined... it would be so awesome if it was the bike that george showdwhen he was on the early show a whiles back (thats how i found out about the auction. they had a total of 8 bikes out there.) because if it was i would die lol but i have no way of knowing :( but its still cool.... its still in its box lol but i have it open so i can look at it haha its sad really how i just look at it and like touch it like "oohh i just like indirectly touched george eads" haha

so who here watched the season 5 premiere on thursday?
i liked it although my only complaint is with 4 cases they are a little rushed...
but i did enjoy the cases they had and especially enjoyed nick and sara working together and what the guy said in the wedding chapel hehe
and nicks little elvis voice "thank you...thank you very much" was hot in my opinion :D
also the whole thing where they show up to the crime scene and saras like "youre so late"
and hes just like "im late?"
i found that little reference to the firings great. i wonder whose idea it was to put that in there.
als othe reference back to season 1 where grissom asked if greg had gotten some of her blood or if she had given blood and she asked why and he replied "so many reasons" it was great. :)
okay im done for now.

Yup, I watched the season premiere...I just wanna know what's up with Sara now. She was brought in for drunk driving (which I thought had absolutely nothing to do with the finale last season) and then she comes back and now has this thing she needs to talk to Grissom about. I'm guessing that they are going to focus a bit more on the characters personal lives this season too.
I do agree that 4 cases rushed it a bit much though. They should definitely stick to 2 cases per show. Maybe they just wanted to have all the actors to have equal screen time now?

Rory is my fav actor but he's so odd about work. I don't understand the basis/background of writing him off the show...
I won't even watch Miami anymore now...back to Las Vegas I guess. NYC version is just too damn dark for me esp. if the recent season opener is any indication of what's to come.
fearlesst15
10-03-2004, 12:59 AM
haha i wish the characters had equal screen time that would mean nicks screen time would have to increase a little ( he was missing from 2 episodes completely in season 4 and was in one episode for about 20 seconds) and other times hes just neglected... its sad...
new episode on thursday :)
i hope they do go a little into the personal lives. it makes it a little interesting. not so much that they turn it into a soap opera and start pairing characters off (although i definately wouldnt mind if they had nick and sara go out hehe ) it should be fine. they have good writers who have somehow managed not to totally trip the fine line between the awesome show that they have and complete tripe. hopefully they can keep that up. otherwise my dad saying this will probably be the "jump the shark season" will be true.

Wow, I can't believe that no one talked about CSI last season....
Anywho, did anyone see the 6th Season premiere last thursday? I like how everyone was finally working together again and that the whole thing that happened with Nick last season is most likely going to be an underlying storyline again this season. That episode was probably one of the best written and directed episode of CSI that I have seen to date. I'm glad they didn't do what a lot of shows do and just ignore their finales. CSI is actually dealing with the aftermath of what happened. Warwick getting married, nick still dealing with things emotionally and even them addressing the 'relationship' with warrick & catherine.

We did talk about it a little before ,but it was lost in the crash. Anyway, yay another CSI watcher. I saw the premiere. You have no idea how estatic I am the team is back together. I always hated teh ep Mea Culpa because of the splitting of teams, although it did provide for plot lines. Ecklie is still an ass in my book, despite what he did to help find Nick.
And I agree, it's great they arent dropping what happened in the finale. Finally some continuity with the powers that be and the writing.
My mom picked up last weeks tv guides with the csi covers for me. :) very happy about those. what's funny is the crew is finally back together, but the covers have 'em split into swiong shift and night shift.
Loved Catherine's little line about how Grissom got them back o nteh same shift only to split them up and "what kind of perverse game are you playing?"
and Grissom's reply. "I'm not a pervert."
Hehe. Ahhh Grissom's little one liners <3

As much as I love my friends, I would never lend them my CSI dvds...now, if they wanted to come over and watch them, that's another story.
Anyway, I know this might sound a little mean, but I was so happy to see Greg back in the lab in Thursday's ep. Is that horrible? I know he wasn't happy to be back in, but honestly, it's where he belongs. It may not be his dream job but it pays better, he's better at it, and he was able to have fun and still joke around in there....rather than being Serious-Greg-the-CSI.
My question is why did they suddenly make Sofia into a detective... I know the actress who plays her was pregnant towards the ned of last season, and they made her kind of disappear in scenes, or she was behind stuff and hardly ever around. Did they do it because some fans didn't like her being there? I never did understand TPTB. Nor do I understand hardcore Gridles who hate Sofia because they saw her as a threat to the Grissom/Sara "relationship" dynamic thing they got going on. *shudders at the thought*

all i know is im looking foward to next week and the other new eps in november. yay for november sweeps... sadly that mean december is probably going to be all repeats, if not holiday specials. january usually is repeats with maybe 1 or 2 new eps if we are lucky... but february, another sweeps month, a new ep every week :)
i love sweeps.... i really do.
so who enjoyed last week's ep? gumdrops? the one where nicky gets all involved.
originally, it was written for grissom, but due to a death in the family, william petersen wasn't able to film the episode and they rewrote it a bit and gave the spot to nick.
it's sad that william petersen had to deal with that, but the one good thing about the rewrite (other than a plotline for nick that didnt involve being kidnapped, stalked, or physically hurt in anyway) was that really grissom/sara sharing a room/bed thing was taken out....
sorry for any gridles but my snickerness in me just makes me ill at the thought.

yeah. i felt so much for brass. im just glad they didnt use this as some excuse to get sophia to leave for some time.
the widow handled it well. she was the only one who was willing to realize and say that it wasn't brass' fault.
one thing thoug: nick stokes/ george eads needs to shave that hideous mustache off - now!
facial hair can be a good thing, if controlled. thick and bushy like a catepillar does not work for him. he looks like a used carsalesman.

Just wanted to say that CSI is my Thursday night TV addiction. *hee hee*
The most recent episode saddened me, too. I hope they're not going to write off Brass.... what do you guys think? I don't have a good feeling about it, but maybe nothing will happen to him in the end.....
And the man who's in charge of the crime lab now, I don't remember his name, but he originally split up the teams before the end of last season. Can't stand him one bit.

she probably means ecklie. david hodges is just the trace lab tech. ecklie was promoted from dayshift supervisor to the head of the lab. i forget his official title.
he's actually softened up a bit. he's still an asshole for the most part, but since nick's kidnapping, he's shown he has a heart. *shock*

Yup, I was talking about Conrad. Couldn't remember his name at all. And you're right, fearlesst15.... He's not as bad as he was last season, but I still don't like him.
David Hodges, huh? Had no idea he left Ev to pursue an acting career and end up on CSI. *lol* Obviously I'm joking. But I never noticed that before.

you mean "king baby" from season 5 with the guy in a diaper?
seen it and i have it on dvd, though i havent watch it on dvd yet.
it was a little more than disturbing.
as for any gsr people, im sure there are some here: they're everywhere.
i used to be an extreme snicker though (sara/nick shipper)
now it's still here, but it isn't as strong. ive almost given up on it. csi doesnt seem to like to do too much personal stuff, which is good i guess... all the other shows do that and so far it's been successful the way it is... if only it were more like without a trace in the sense that it can balance the personal lives and the procedural stuff.... i love without a trace.... it's almost above csi now. it's scary because two years ago, nothing could have topped csi for me
anyone catch this past thursday? i'm hoping sara's little " i guess some people just arent meant to be together" and grissom's subsequent look is a little indication that things are over between them. hopefully sara has moved on. i mean come on... it's going on six years now and grissom has done nothing (other than that little speech in butterflied) to show interest in sara. he has refused going to dinner with her and blah blah blah. not to mention carol mendhelson said that little speech was supposed to be the "death" of the grissom sara ship. but ive grown to not trust her. she constantly says one thing about the show and does another.

I think CSI could be a much better program without some characters.
But I think the serie really rock, with all those special effects and stuff.
When I have time, I always watch, and most of the times, they have some new and great stories.

I'm not entirely sure about that. If "Butterflied" were truly the end, there would be quite a bit that wouldn't have happened that did happen, if that makes sense. W. Peterson said himself, "I'd like to kiss her before the season's over," and Jorja Fox said "Never say never." While they're only the actors and don't make decisions about production, I wouldn't be surprised if it ended up happening later. Relationships are taking a back seat to plot most likely b/c of the heavier emotional themes of the past season--Nick being buried, that scene in Sara's apartment, and Grissom's revelation about his dad (this happened last season, but I can't remember exactly which episode). Although Grissom basically admitted to not being able to leave his work for Sara, there comes a point when anyone will break. As he said in season 2, when he leaves CSI, "there won't be cake in the break room, I'll just be gone." While his deepest fear is being known (early season 2, with the introduction of Lady Heather), I wonder if leaving CSI wouldn't give him the courage to do it. If this is the case, though, it means that GSR would happen at the VERY END of the series.
In any case, it'll be interesting to see how everything's played out. I'm still in love with the series and have only the highest of hopes for it. :)

oh, i know the gsr will never be over. im just saying, that's what i think carol mendehlson said in the commentary, but they were never good with continuity to begin with so , oh well.
im just sick of it honestly. i dont want to see sara and grissom together ever. i know sara and nick will never happen, but even if i dont see anything come from that, i still dont want to see grissom and sara. honestly, he has strung her along for years and it sickens me. he knows she was basically in love him like a sick little puppy dog, and even if he did feel the same, he just led her on, and knew nothing would ever come of it. i read spoilers for an upcoming episode from "your tax dollars at work", which is a very grissom/sara orientated site, and depending on how the scene is played, and whether or not they change the script around, the scene would make grissom look very odd/freaky and totally change the perspective on the whole grissom/sara relationship thing.
anyway, i love my csi, but recently, grey's anatomy and without a trace have taken over. i still watch csi, but my attention is dwindling. im being drawn into without a trace that still perfectly blends the whole procedure with personal aspects and grey's anatomy that is just funny and crazy all the time.

yay for another csi fan. i liked greg better when he was a lab rat. i dont mind that he has more screen time, but when he first became a csi, he didnt make as many jokes, he was more quiet and internal. he was a little taken aback by what the job really holds. it reminds of the episode - chasing the bus - in season 2 or 3 i think. and he was at the scene and froze. he couldnt process the idea of a person dying in front of him and the blood and all that.

Loved the episode where Nick was buried alive. God, that was freaky, and annoying, having to wait 2 months for part two!

You had to wait two months for the second part? What happened to cause the lag? That sucks.
I have no problem with people hoping something happens, but personally, I hope nothing does. It really would make me violently ill.
So for the sake of the cleanliness of my house and my parents not thinking there is something wrong with me because I threw up all over the living room on a thursday night, I pray nothing happens with the two of them. Or if something does, Sara regrets it and then stays away from Grissom.

haha i have been stark raving mad since last night...anyone who watches the show has heard me.
i was watching in my room because my parents usually tape it but they were watching it too.
in the last scene as gris was talking i was just thinking and sayin out loud "please no no no god no anyone but sara anyone but sara...let it be sofia or even lady heather, any one but sara"
then sara walks out.... so i scream and get that sick pre-vomit taste...
"no!!! ew!!! no!!! wrong!!! so wrong!!! im gonna be sick!"
my parents heard me from downstairs and were laughing.
it is a madhouse over at the csi imdb boards... half the posters are pissed and upset at csi for doin this, while the other half (the gridle half) are estatic.
and now with grey's anatomy going to thursday nights at 9.... uh oh for csi is all i have to say.

Bringing up an old thread here... I LOVE CSI. Besides Strong Medicine it is my favorite show. I love all the characters in Vegas, in Miami I only like Horatio, Calleigh and Alex, and in NY I don't like any.
One of my two best friends went to the US this summer and brought back a CSI Las Vegas shirt, the other went to Bali and brought back season 6 on DVD. Teehee. And I bought a belt that looks like crime tape saying "police line do not cross" when I was on vacation myself haha. Almost done watching season 6 now, can't wait for the finale.
