Alright. So I'm a novice guitar player, and I'm currently writing a song. Once it's completed, I will post it here, but for now, here's a rather cheesy cover of my singing "The Rose" by Bette Midler. Be honest. Nothing is worse than telling someone he or she is great when really he or she is worthy of Simon's chainsaw. :(

Wow. Kristine. Niiiiice vibrato. It's steady. =]
Deep voice too, sooo unexpected from a tiny young girl.
Brilliant.
I like it.

Thanks, again, Desiree. Your support is priceless.
Lost November Rain
You wander, soaked in the acid
Of the stillborn joy that came your way
Droplet toxic; your charms become rusted
On your wrists taut with grayness; thin like your face
Waiting, fading, keeping your watch
You count down time in a telephone booth
The Canadian dime won’t do what you ask it
For it’s partial towards the boy up the street
Chorus:
“Come down now, November rain
Are you there like you were last year?
I hear you, dry and weak
Profaned, never wanting to see me again
Be the hand that always lives
The penance that needs to stay
Be the truth that gives me a vision
Saying you’ll be the same.”
You’re breathing that Terrible Trouble
In the sky so dark that has bloodied your eyes
Untouched wonders, needy they seem
Won’t take a ride beneath those dead dimming lights
Thinking, shaking, losing your care
And love for everything of yearly life
How shortly will it be before
We run without our weakened dream?
Chorus:
“Come down now, November rain
Are you there like you were last year?
I hear you, dry and weak
Profaned, never wanting to see me again
Be the hand that always lives
The penance that needs to stay
Be the truth that gives me a vision
Saying you’ll be the same.”
(Repeat Chorus one more time)
Be the words, so simple, still trying
To help me find my faith
Be the feeling that leaves me to rest
My lost November rain
*^These are lyrics I wrote a while back. I decided to mess around today and record myself singing it. Now, I know I may not blow you away, 'cause I'm not a Mariah Carey, Christina Aguilera, Whitney Houston, etc. However, I am trying to find my own unique voice, one that showcases my personality, so tell me if you like what you hear! Note that I also tweaked the words up, but bare with me. Also pardon me on my awkward timing, but at the same time, just be honest about what you hear. Thanks.
***So I decided to edit this, because I was not satisfied with the recording I posted yesterday. I felt that this song could be altered into an... acapella interlude, kind of like Tori Amos' "Wampum Prayer". And my voice isn't feeling so good, so I didn't feel like pushing myself. Well, enjoy. If you think it's sh!t, tell me so. Again, I want to find my own voice. I don't care about sounding mega-diva amazing, if that's what they call it nowadays.
***Whoops. I edited it again. This time, I'm truly satisfied. "Enjoy". Honesty, please.

You have a brilliant vibrato in your voice, i would love to acheive a sound like that someday and I loved the intro, is it an original song that you wrote? It reminds me of a lullaby i heared when I was younger, however that was in Spanish.

Thank you so much, Envyway! Yes, it's an original song I wrote. Ahh... a Spanish lullaby, eh? Sounds elegant. Glad you like it!
