I listen to some trance. Mostly vocal, dj mixes, and anything that is unique and uplifting.

My fav set is probably Nu Trance Generation by DJ Elusive.

I like the George Acosta mixes, personally... And I <3 Orbital ^_^ I also love to dance to Celldweller ^.^ The melodies/beats could make kickass trance tunes @.@

I love trance..well, dance music period.

One of my favorite artists in the techno genre is Prefuse-73. He's actually kind of...hip hop/dance. He usually has a select few rappers in his songs, mixed with odd vocals from movies and such...to strange, unique beats. Good stuff :D

I like some techno and trance stuff...when it comes to actually dancing. But I can't just sit there and listen to it...cuz then I get headaches.

ahh I love this thread. I love love love dance/rave/house/tehcno/trance...love it all. I play DDR all the time and that has some of the best dance/rave..etch on it.

I'm also a pretty big fan of BT. He has some great music. oh I also love Dj Encore (and Engelina) They have the song I See Right Through You it was a kinda popular dance song. Dj Tiësto is great as well, and of course Payl Van Dyke, Paul Okenfold, Ian Van Dahl, Crystal Method, Dj Sammy, TJ Taka, TaQ, Naoki.....

I'm actually more into EBM.

Stuff like The Birthday Massacre, Slick Idiot, Ressurection Eve, Hocico, KMFDM, VNV Nation, etc.

AWESOME i thought i was the only one who liked dance/techno/trance/rave..ect. yea dj encore is awesome, yea and i see right through to you is an awesome song, it get on my nerves sometimes though. I love the song time of our lives by paul van dyke,ordinary world by aurora and will i ever fall in love by alice deejay :D i love castle in the sky by ian van dahl, lord of trance by dj tiesto and the list gos on forever :D some others r sonique, laava, and dj sammy

I'm a big fan of remixes as well. Garbage has a few good remixes such as Push It (Boom Boom Sattles Remix) and Special (brothers in rhythm remix). Also love Ayumi Hamasaki noteably her AyuTRANCE series, very good stuff. I also really love Dj Sammy's song California Dreamin' (remake of the old song)

I love california dreamin, even though it short its an awesome song to me :D I need to go to some rave clubs but im to youn, and i tottally dont know how to dance trance or eny kind of music :p. My freind maria says there is this club in Ny call heaven she says its awesome, i might go there when i go to new york, enyone gone there????????????? :)

sorry dont live in NY, but my friend was telling me about one around here (noteably in Minneapolis) that is going on in april and its a drug free/alcohol free one. Looking forward to it.

I dont know many people that like dance music at all, not just remixes or commercial crap (DJ Sammy, Scooter etc). Layo and Bushwacka are awesome, downloaded a whole 2 hours set off the internet of theirs! :D BT, Delerium, Chemical Brothers - FAITHLESS!!! :D Paul Van Dyk is cool.

Its pretty cool that dance music is taking off here in Australia. Went to last years Two Tribes festival in Melbourne and it was soo mad. I dont really go out to clubs all that often, or the rave events - but they are awesome and the people are cool! And seeing Armin Van Buuren (sp?) up close was very cool! :D

well i also like dance,techno and trance but most of the groups i like are really commercial: scooter for instance.
there's a song i really like it's called La Real and it's of Surgeon. he made it inspired by my city's best disco, is one of the best ones in spain and worldwide.
i also like dj tiesto and the way he introduces common sounds of the street, the industry... in his songs.

I've been buying some trance albums lately...Pure Trance 3 (which is kind of garbage compared to other albums I have), 4 Strings, and Ian Van Dahl.

Whoo for DDR for gettin me to buy 4 Strings and Ian Van Dahl's albums haha.

I always forgot to listen to local techno shows on the radio..(well, they had them on an alternative station, but the college shows was better)...but yeah, right now, I'm really likin Ian Van Dahl's Ace. Great group :D

Wow, I really had to search to find this...definitely didn't want to start a whole new thread. Everyone mostly listens to all the popular names when it comes to dance/trance/techno...the sad part is techno technically isn't a genre. It envelopes everything from: trance and acid to house and breakbeat. Though someone may say the like techno, they definitely prefer one or the other. I love it all. For trance I favor the likes of BT and Ferry Corsten, even some Paul Van Dyk, Christopher Lawrence and DJ Micro. But I can't listen to that. I've tried to get everything by the Marilyn Manson of house...otherwise known as DJ Keoki, Superstar Keoki or just Keoki...however you prefer to name him. But then there's DJ Icey and DJ Baby Anne with the breakbeat. DJ Rap isn't too bad either. I've also got stuff by Sasha and Digweed and their new solo stuff. I've also got a collection from Shadow records which is almost like acid trance. There's no end to it if you're talking about remix shit by someone like Richard "Humpty" Vission or even Rob Dougan who did the techno shit for the Matrix movies. All in all, the whole genre encompassed by techno is awesome.

I dont like a lot of a trance/dance music's , but have 2 that i love : sandstorm , and Trance paradise - Dj tiesto =D
