I confirmed the date of the show with Danielle Monaro from the Morning Zoo..and according to this article on Billboard.com, Ev will be there:

After the North American run ends Oct. 29, Evanescence will head to Europe to play 2,000- to 4,000-capacity venues. From there the band will return stateside for radio concerts (including top 40 radio station WHTZ [Z100] New York's annual Jingle Ball ) and TV appearances. Then it's off to Japan, Australia and New Zealand to ring in the new year, according to Lurie, who says dates are still tentative. Geoff Meall of the Agency Group books the band worldwide (except South America) out of TAG's London office.

Show has now been confirmed.

I have no knowledge of what goes on at the Jingle Ball...is it completely outdoors? Do they televise it?

I don't think I'll be home in time, but if my finals end early enough, I'll try to come. :)

It's usually held on Madison Square Garden and tickets sell out real fast. It's expensive too.

This excites me, I can afford to go, i mean ive been saving so i have over a thousand bucks and even more by december obviously, Sweet! i'm gonna be waiting on news for this.

If tickets go on sale before we hear anything more, I wouldn't buy them JUST to see Evanescence just yet, as unconfrmed acts on the bill MAY change.

I'd love to go to that. Sometimes my family goes up to NY around Christmas.
But I don't think that's during my x-mas break.

ill definately try to win tickets... i dont think i could afford to buy tickets and if i could... it would have to be the cheapest crappiest seats in the house

I don't know if it'll be worth the effort of running home in between finals :X And ticket price is always a factor. But I'll see.

The password for the onsale won't be released until 3pm.

Tickets range from $230 to $25.

$25 tickets are:
"Worst Seats In the House"
These tickets are behind the stage and have completely obstructed views. There will be some video screens but you will not be able to see the performances from these seats. Z100's Romeo on the Radio will be broadcasting live, the Z100 DJs will be hanging out and you will receive a limited edition, exclusive Z100 Jingle Ball poster, the night of the show.
