Seriously, no thread for this? I can't be the only one here who's played it. From the lovely folks at Blizzard, the same people who brought us WoW, the Diablo set (I, II, and the expansion pack titled "Lord of Destruction") is just about the awesomest bunch of computer games I've ever played. Anyone here know what I'm talking about?

I've played diablo 2 before i have never managed to beat the entire game before! its a really good game i wish they'd come out with a more up to date game though with some new graphics but you can't beat the classics

Agreed! Blizzard never disappoints...except with their release dates. I have played Diablo II, w/ and w/o the expansion a couple times. Definitely a great bunch of games! Blizzard rocks...for sho'.

And I just wanna add that Hellgate: London is a pretty good game as well. It's very Diablo-esque, including talent builds and overall feel, but the graphics are much better and the game is smoother overall. It's made by Flagship Studios though...but some of the developers for Diablo worked on it. It also has an MMORPG option that I like. It's a fun game. One thing it lacks in comparison to Diablo is the music...there was some good music in Diablo. Also, the NPCs in HG:L are super creepy.

Diablo II was the first RPG from Blizzard that I ever played...after WarCraft and StarCraft. I'll never forget the first time I made it to the Chaos Sanctuary...it was cool as hell. And when Diablo actually comes out to fight you, when he says, "Not even death can save you from me." Bad ass. Definitely a great game. But that's to be expected from Blizzard. The storyline for Diablo II was great, as well.

I've just recently picked up WoW...4 years after it's come out. It's just as fun, I think.

Yay, Diablo III is in the making!!! It looks GREAT! I can't wait 'til it comes out. There is no release date as of now. Do a search for Diablo III and check it out if you wish.
