Edguy is a german band really famous in the ''metal-melodic'' world.
Anyone who likes bands like Stratovarius, Sonata Artica, I know it will enjoy this band.

They aren't really my cup of tea (being power metal) but i saw them live when my boyrfriend's band were their support and i have to say they were SO energetic and fun, it made for a great show!!!!! if anyone is into this type of music i suggest you check them out, i think they have a new album on the way and will proberly tour again soon!

i didn't officially meet them cause backstage we weren't allowed to talk to them (it was after their set, i'm sure they were exhausted!) but i witnessed Tobias Sammit walking around in a white robe and white towel wrapped around his head which was funny! and my then they did a harbour cruise, my boyfriends band didnt play that but they lent them their gear so we got free tix... that was a really intimate gig, proberly like 35-50 people on Sydney harbour and they even had like a question and answer bit which was cool! all these girls were just drooling over them! hehe!

My friend has an Edguy dvd and it's very funny, and it shows parts of concerts, and in one of them it shows Tobias Sammet with the towel :p

i think he's better then Jens! hehe! If you like power metal you should check out this aussie band dungeon (they used to be dungeon, now they're called Lord) they also supported Edguy! (they're not very good looking) but like i said before i'm not a power metal band, the only band i'll listen to like that is DUngeon/LORD!
