My lyrics are not easy to judge by just reading them. If you do, they don't keep in poetic time. But I just sustain certain words to make it feel like it flows "poetically". I'm not a poet. I'm barely a songwriter.

I wrote this song a few weeks ago...and I'm aware that it's incredibly cheesy. The melody makes it bearable, but still...
I tend to write songs based on conversations had with friends, about really lame and girly things. I'm totally using this thread as my lyrics database, since they're usually just written on random scraps of paper.

Thank you so much!! I'd love to get a record deal, but I don't think I'm "developed" enough to be seriously considered. Maybe somewhere down the road I'll pursue it, but I'm too chicken, haha.

To answer brokendoll's questions, you SHOULD be able to download the songs off of myspace. If you look at the player, it gives an option to download each individual song. They're already mp3's.

And yes, it is really me singing, haha. Well the first two anyways, the last one is my two sisters singing and me on the guitar (but not the rock and roll ending, that's my friend's contribution).

This is the first time I wrote lyrics for a song BEFORE having a tune. The tune I have is...okay...this one's gunna take some time to even become decent.

I absolutley love your voice with the guitar on 'blowing in the wind'
i used to sing that in junior school as a hymn, but you do a better job by far then a school hall full of kids!! The harmonising is spot on as well and it fits together so nicely, it's gorgeous to listen to.

Weak is another awesome song, although in parts the harmony outdoes the main vocal parts, and i think there were a couple of off notes in there, but that's the only criticism i have to make, otherwise i loved that one too.
