i think the game was a broiler...nope not filled with awesome offensive plays...lots of fouls,arguments all in all a rough game.
england was good in the 1st half ...scored a goal....lampard showed erickson that he is a much betta offensive midfielder.owen...was he even playing.Rooney was impressive ...well i dont know what erickson told them in the dressing room...but they simply fucked up in 2nd half..ya surely france scored both goals in the injury time...but they pushed and pushed ...and got the result. where was the english offence...?they only got squeezed one counter attack...and got a penalty,and beckham thought of making his former teammate a hero..missed it. and what was gerrard doing...perhaps he just went gay too early and gifted the ball to henry.And Zizu showed what class is.anyways i really don't care much about england but since lampard,terry,scott parker,joe cole and wayne bridge are in the squad i was kinda supporting them.jut hope nobody of those get injuries.

The ending to the match was fantastic, you couldn't ask for any more excitement then what happened at the end. I was rooting for the French and when Zidane equalised i was just pleased that France would at least get something out of the game. When he converted the penalty i was so darn happy, memories of Man Utd vs Munich in 99 came flooding in. But i still think England will qualify for the quarters.

They should had changed Van Der Meyde voor someone like Overmars, that dude would have played terrific(fast player and is good at playing counter soccer). But offcourse our greatest friend our buddy, DICK! advocaat screwed it all up and put in Bosvelt(I am a Feyenoord[where bosvelt used to play] supporter) cause Robben was playing the best game in his live.

As for DICK, "He was injured for three months that's why I pulled him out" what a BS!!!!!!!!!!!! reason. I don't know why they ever made him coach, I could even do better *sigh*

I watched the match between and Denmark and Sweden and i believe it was a fair match with both teams giving their all. I think Sweden were lucky to even get a draw out of the game. Sad to see Italy out but i just cannot stand the allegations that the Sweden and Denmark match was fixed utter rubbish i say.

I think that the main rule of this Euro is don't do any predictions or expectations. I was so sure about France (and England) to play at least in the semi-final, but they couldn't even beat Greece, who by the way show a very good game as do Denmark and of course Czechia (the only team who hasn't lost a game :) )

LOL guess u are a orange too :p i think my team didn't played well because the greek defense didn't let the portuguese football be played! i'm sad abou my country! we diserved to win the euro not because of one stupid game (yesterday's game) but because we play well during the euro! we did a great job! i think greece didn't diserved to win 'cause they don't play football and the couch and players suck! they only won the matches they won because they are too defensive and almost non atacking! i wanted a team that plays football to win the euro not a team that doesn't play football! besides, they greek team is cynic and the players started to saying bad things about the euro that were stupid and they started to say they were the best! the greeks in general are nice people and i don't have nothing to say about that but their team are not so friendly. well that's fine 4 me than they won the match against my team but they didn't diserve to win the euro. that's how i see it. cheers then!

And I wasn't supporting your team because they kicked England outta the tournament :p But I don't think I would've wanted England to win. England fans are so full of themselves anyway. Urgh, has anyone heard all those manky football anthems that were going on the radio? :S They were horrible. And annoying.

I don't knmow about Greece, and I don't really mind that they won, I'm just glad that Portugal didn't win :):p

Why bitching about it instead of being glad about Portugal's second place? A LOT of people would! I know that no host country that has reach the final had lost the game before and I can understand that you're upset... Just don't be bitter, man... Be happy with what Portugal has achieved!

Oh, and btw-- people just have to stop taking things for granted! Not many people believed in the Greece team and now look at them! Who would have thought that! They are a living example of 'expect the unexpected'! :cool: And congrats to them! :D

It's good that Portugal went this far, it would be better if they had won though. They played well, but Greece does defend very well. It's not "show-socker" but it was effective and it got them the victory.

I was just sorry for the many players that won't get another chance to win a championship of this magnitude. They deserved it...

But hey, we have the UEFA coup next year, here in Portugal as well, and there is always the world championship. If the players and Scollari keep up the good work, there will be yet other chances for glory. ;)

All in all, the Euro went wonderfully, with no major incidents to report involving the public. Go Portugal!
