This year it's been hosted in Greece. Did anybody see the semi-finals? Or the finnish act? Hehehe the best. :D

Who do you think might win? Is it all politics or just based all apon the music?

I find it annoying how all the friendly countried vote for each other... btu I just enjoy the music from different countires, I love songs it other languages =)

To be honest I don't even know Texas Lightning (Germany), but it is as embarrassing as every year for Germany. Their name includes Texas and they look like a country band. Oh and why should they sing in German:rolleyes: They don't have anything in common with us.

I might watch it this year because I have a few friends from Wales and we always make fn and say 'OMG vote for the UK and we'll vote for Romania!!!' :p.

Our contestant, Mihai Traistariu, is a guy who has a vocal range of a bit more than 5 octaves ( :eek: ), and he has a song called Tornero. He sings in Italian, English, and I think a bit of Romanian (go figure) squeezed in there too.

i saw the semi-final and thought overall it was all crap. ireland was good and finland... well... it goes without saying that it blew me away. i love lordi and will definitely be voting for them numerous times! i'd encourage you all to do the same. It's become too political and whore-ish recently... lordi are making a statement it should be about the music and just having fun... which it definitely will be.

if lordi weren't in the competition i'd be voting for ireland tho - Brian Kennedy has a great voice.

When they started I thought something had gone wrong with their microphones or something it was so bad! But near the end once they got everything right, it didn't sound sooooooooo bad. But I don't know what country it was, I've forgotten, lol!!

YES! Finally, someone who thinks we were decently represented, lol. :D Thank you. The guy has an amazing voice, I don't think that many (male) singers have a range of 5 octaves and one third. ;) And the song was ok, catchy, perfect for eurovision. But Finland just HAD to come and be all rock-like and steal the spotlight, damnit! :p

I was over a friend's house the other day and I was flipping throught the channels when I came across Lordi performing. We didn't know what the hell the show was about because I've never heard of Eurovision but then I heard that it was a singing competition and I nearly puked. Wtf was that on stage? Lordi was AWFUL. Sorry but they looked pathetic with their "costumes" on. They were trying a little too hard to look like bad asses and they failed. "Hard Rock Hallelujah"? What a stupid name for a song. And if they're so bad ass, why the hell are they in a singing competition with all these other pop singers? Ew. If they were voted the best band in all of Europe (or at least the countries in Europe that participated), I feel bad for you Europeans. The U.S. may have Britney but at least we don't have Lordi. Thank god. The only thing worse than having an idol who drops her baby on the floor, places said baby the wrong way in his car seat, nearly drops said baby a second time, and looks like she hasn't taken a shower in days is having idols who call themselves "monsters". Ooh they're so gothic and scary. I'm shaking in my boots.
