Evanescence Singer Plays Ark. Hometown
By The Associated Press
NORTH LITTLE ROCK, Ark. - Singer Amy Lee of the Grammy award-winning rock band Evanescence returned home for the final show of the band's latest tour.
Lee said in an interview Saturday at Alltel Arena, across the Arkansas River from her hometown of Little Rock, that it was a bit "weird" to be home.
"I don't like the attention of 'you're famous so talk to me,'" Lee said. "Well, why do you want to talk to me? Just because you think 'It's going to make me cool.' That's something I don't understand really."
Lee said when she's in Little Rock, many fans ask if she remembers them. She said her family moved around a lot when she was young, but came to Arkansas when she was 12 or 13 years old.
The band's debut album "Fallen" went platinum and earned them two Grammys (news - web sites) last year for best new artist and best hard rock performance for the single, "Bring Me to Life."
Evanescence and opening act Seether have been touring since early July.

Well... that's Life! :(
Be famous mean the lose of privacy sometimes. However, it's sad because her going back home is kinda 'weird'... poor thing... *hugs Amy*

That would be kinda weird... :(

Well it's nice that they could end their tour at home. That way they are finished with their traveling and just ready for relax. Nice to do a concert and then be able to wake up the next day in your bed, haha! Hope the concert went well and they enjoy their time off!

"The Bring Me To Life rocker, 23, told an American radio station she would kill the Toxic star because she hates the blonde beauty's look.
Lee says, "First I would take my corset off and strangle her around her big gymnast neck.
"Then I would poison her, the way Snow White was poisoned in the fairy tales. And then afterwards I would dye her hair back to the original colour." "
I found this after I clicked on the link... I thought it was kinda funny that they left out that the origional color was 'puke green', I guess they can't make two stars look bad in one article... It's sad about Amy feeling weird to go home though.

Cool, nothing new, but thanks for the article :p I've always fantasized, (well not exactly fantasized) about what it would b like to be famous, but when it all boils down to it, I think I'd rather not :D The only thing that'd be cool I guess is showing up the people who you knew and once saw you in a negative light. That must be so cool for Amy :D
