Did anyone else see the Sony/Channel Nine interview thingie this morning (Sunday morning)? I was in bed and got an sms from my cousins telling me it was on. The interview was with Amy and Ben, so I figure it was from their promo tour. *thinks, was that 2003 sometime?*

I realise some of it would have been filmed while they were here, but still...I want more Eva on Aussie TV!!! Plus, I don't have cable so I miss out on all the Foxtel stuff...blah!

I managed to find a copy of the interview in bittorrent form. It was a pretty hefty download on my poor dialup connection for what turned out to be only a 5 minute interview, but it wasn't to bad an interview so i guess it was worth it.

I have most of it taped and I'm working on writting up the transcript. Should be done soon..

Ever since Hey Hey, It's Saturday finished we've had NOTHING on tv worth watching entertainment wise anymore, it's really sad. How many big name acts have been in the country and how often do you see them on TV when they are here? NEVER! Yes, they all go on Channel [v] now, but what about the rest of us who don't have FOXTEL!? BLAH!!!!

I've noticed lately too, that all the major networks have been playing concerts, storytellers and other VH1 specials any time AFTER 11pm. Why the hell they can't show them primetime is beyond me. Who really wants to watch ANOTHER season of Blue Heelers or The Secret Life of Us? NO ONE!! ;)

Well they were only in Melbourne for 1 day (ok 1 & a bit) & they weren't even meant to be going to Melbourne they only did when they were offered the spot on Rove. Well these days Free to Air has no shows that can cater for ppl like EV no matter, do the good thing get Pay TV it's worth it!

Foxtel or OptusVision would be great, but in my area in Adelaide it's only avaliable on Satellite, so it's too expensive. :(

For all u guys who r taping the Evanescence thing on Monday morning, if ur using the timer record thing make sure u tape a bit more than u should cose the cricket is on and that usually runs over schedule so the Evanescence thing might start a bit later than scheduled ;)

Arghhh cool! I came on here to tell everyone about the cool new My Immortal video on Video Hits this morning and I've been out scooped. The new video is from a concert when Ben was still in the band and I guess that wouldn't have been long before Ben left the band because they only started playing MI at concerts fairly recently. I taped most of it today but next week I'll setup my computer to grab it directly.

was great to see, was filmed a while ago tho, but was great to get some more info on how the album came together, and how they go into writing lyrics and composing it all.
behind the scenes stuff too, was good to see, and how happy Amy is while shooting MI (cos i got the impression for MI, it would be a very sombre moment)

YAY I taped it, I started recording from 2am till 5am so I made sure I wasnt gonna miss it, it was pretty good, Amy eyes in the interview looked amazing :)

I'm sooo pissed off!!! I got up at 3:10am, watched stupid "who's line is it anyway", waited, waited. Nothing. So I kept my VCR recording through till I got up at 9:00am and then I had a look to see if it was on and it wasn't!!

My computer doesnt have the equipment to rip the tape to the computer but I'll try find a friend who has the equipment. I think all u need is a video-in on your graphics card and windows movie maker. I'll post it if I can get it working ;)

You preach it sister. I agree! Actually most people do want to see Blue Heelers or 1001 Home Improvement shows to make them feel better about spending most of their cash paying off a house and filling it with junk. So I guess we won't get Storytellers or other music specials in prime time (mostly under 25s are interested anyway) but a couple of ads during the Simpsons or something would be good.

Hey same here.I was walking down the stiars after being on the evboards,(this was all to freaky because I was humming ev songs),and then my mum and nephew were shouting JEN JEN!!I came in and I saw Amy and i started freaking out.I had to fix my tape,i had Evanescence clips and So Frsh interview to fast forward,and then I got the end of Bring Me To Life and the rest.I was so happy because my friends were teasing me about the fact I didn't see it oh and obviously because IT WAS EVANESCENCE!!And to see Amy making those funny faces was so cool.

Hey yeah, my ex who came to the Melbourne concert with me rang me and said turn on the tv to channel 9. Because I hate him, I wasted like 5 minutes of precious viewing time arguing about what not a good idea it is to ring me up so early on a sunday morning when he knew i would be hungover, and then when he said Ev was on, I turned on the tv and screamed my little heart out in his ear and hung up.

I had a smile on my face for the rest of the weekend. Thank you WIN Television!!!!

Probably not for a while as they've just shown it again. But they seem to play it after or before the cricket starts/ends to fill in time before the next program is sheduled to run. So check your TV guide to see when the cricket is on. =)

That EV interview is always on, its the same one over and over again. Ive even memorised the words lol. It was on last night aswell (sep 25) at about 3.30 in the morning. Its cool they keep showing an EV interview but they should show a new one!
