Hello fellow Evboarders!

Next year lots of supernatural/and or vampire movies are going to come out. I was wondering which if any/and or all of the following movies I’m listing would be good if Evanescence were apart of the soundtrack. They are…..

1. BloodRayne (Uwe Boll’s directing this movie based on the video game. On all these message boards I see they call him a horrible director. I haven’t seen House of the Dead so I don’t have an opinion on that.)

2. The sequel to Underworld. We all know that Amy did some work on the 1st soundtrack that unfortunately ended on the cutting room floor. They could remedy that by having the whole band do a song for the movie)

3. Blood and Chocolate ( this is a werewolf novel based on a Annette Curtis-Klause novel. I read this book in high school. She’s a great author (those who read her vampire novel The Silver Kiss knows what I’m talking about.) MGM is the movie company that’s putting this one out.

Ok everyone debate away! :cool:

P.S. The reason I mentioned two vampire movie is because I know Amy said she really liked vampire moveis.

i think Underworld 2, But if they ever came to make another Anne Rice Novel into a movie i would say Evanescence should be on that.

I love the Vampire Chronicles! So if they made another movie from them I guess so.

definitely underwold 2... it's kind of funny but everytime i watch underworld i keep looking for amy's name on the credits...

If I had to pick one of those, it'd be Underworld 2...there are already rumors of them doing something for the Elektra soundtrack, so maybe they'll be working for that soundtrack instead.

I dunno............that's hard. Maybe for Seed of Chucky, they could use Everybody's Fool on account that the story takes place in Hollywood where Tiffany meets her Idol (Jennifer Tilly)

I was sooooo thinking Spy Kids 4 would be PERFECT and even BETTER then Sky Kids 3 if Ev was in it!!!!!

But seriously, I'd say Underworld 2. But in reality I think it'll be Elektra, since Wind-Up is prolly doing their soundtrack again.

bloodrayne it would be so neat, besides theirs a video with bloodrayne and other people from the game doing a lip singing thing of Everybodys fool.....:)

the song for it would be for the opening song......of if you can pick a song from a cd either whisper or understanding....

Blood and Chocolate sounds interesting. I would choose Away From Me, Whisper or Even In Death to be in a movie. Evanescence would be fine to a vampire or werewolf story. Their songs are still so versatile that they would go well in a realistic movie too.

*gapes* I didn't know they were making a movie for Blood and Chocolate! 'Twas a good book, I'll look forward to it. I think Ev should be in all of them, they're all great. Maybe Haunted for B&C, which by the way is about a war between vampires and werewolves. Can't wait to see if they're on any of them!

He is bad. You'll fall over laughing at House of the Dead. Great zombie-fighting (agile zombies, matrix style gun fights) but its HILARIOUS- the gore and stuff.
Uwe Boll sucks. Hes also doing ALone in the Dark. And for some reason, i dont se Amy getting into 'Bloodrayne'. Underworld, yes. Bloodrayne is all about the action and stuff- Underworld went past the vamp vs. werewolf and into the family and betrayal and bloodlines.

But Im gonna see Bloodrayne anyway and be very disappointed, but Bloodrayne is smokin. =B Shes the only video game girl to ever make it on the cover of Playboy.

Nemo- LOL, I had heard he was a bad director! One of the reasons I suggested BloodRayne is because Amy likes vampire movies. And that maybe she would be interested in having Evanescence on BloodRayne's soundtrack.

Well, I'd pick Underowrld since I saw the first. I think the way the movie is portrayed and the uniqye style of Ev's music, I think it would be an awesome combination.

You might hear Ev on the Without a Trace soundtrack, they used Bring Me to Life in one of their episodes :)

BLOODRAYNE?!?!? That game is the SHIT!!! (in a good way) I didnt know they be doing a movie. Evanescence would be perfect for the soundtrack(if its anything like the game)
Underworld 2 would also be good for Ev. Cause they do have that sexy vampire thing goin for them. Plus, Amy says shes inspired by Vamp movies, so theyll prolly dish out some neat crap for it.:D

I just got Underworld and I swear that is the best movie! If it weren't for the whole burning in the flames of Hades thing after death, it would be awesome to be a vampire! I can't wait for Underworld 2. It doesnt come to theaters until Dec. 9th.....2005! This saddens me... but I seriously think the writters are nuts if they don't use some Evanescence in it.

Except I don't think anyone knows if it's going to be the old demo or if it's going to be like the "My Immortal" band version - you know, where they add guitars and drums alongside the piano.

There will be Underworld 2 and 3 actually. And if you look at the Evanescence Reference post, it says she did work on the original Underworld soundtrack. Listen to the songs by the group Renholder. She's not mentioned in the credits of the CD, but I think she's mentioned in the credits of the movie somewhere.

A DJ was talking about this earlier on the radio over here, and she mentioned that Amy is really busy on both Ev's new album and other work for her label WindUp AND soundtracks...shes not only producing but we might be listening to a new collaboration soon...no details were mentioned though :)

I think they will be on quite a few soundtracks this coming year. Hopefully they will be on the Underworld: Evolution soundtrack too, Actually I would rather hear Amy do something like a collab on the Underworld: Evolution soundtrack.

Yup, there will be three. I think it said that somewhere on the Underworld website. It makes sense sorta. First one, Selene takes out Viktor. Next is Marcus. Then maybe Kraven gets what he deserves in the end. Who knows. That's cool. Now I'm going to go rewatch the DVD and look for Amy in the credits. :D Oh, wait, never mind. I'm going to try and watch Resident Evil: Apocalypse before the thing on FOX comes on. Maybe tomorrow. ;)
