Today when I was in Moonee Ponds I went to Cash Convertors and when I was looking through
the second hand CD'S you'll never guess what I found.....THE ORIGIN CD.
What chance is there that it will be in Cash Convertors in AUSTRALIA BEING SOLD FOR
$10.00, what type of stupid person would give it to cash convertors, I mean seriously, it
can be sold on ebay for $150-$200. Im guessing the person lived in Little Rock, purchased
the CD didnt like it but kept it anyway,came to Australia Melbourne and gave it to Cash
Convertors not knowing how rare it is and how much people would pay for it.
Anyway I got it for $10.00 I still cant beleive it :).
Whenever you go to a second hand shop and there selling CD'S keep an eye out for Origin
even theres like a .05 chance youll find it, Just look anyway. :D :D :D :D :D

Yeah don't be to sure its a real one coz the fakes can look really good but there are so many fakes out there. like SLipkntos firt album only has 1000 pressings like origin & there are so many fakes out there like a Huge Sydney Record stopre known as utopia had a fake one & were trying 2 sell it till I told em it was fake. Tell us about the cd & what it feels like etc

I'm more inclined to think it was the guy behind the counter at cash converters, armed with a cd burner and a colour photocopier.

i had 2 real ones like 2 feet away from me last week
one signed by amy and one still sealed
it was so tempting to just grab one and run away...
but i think Syd would've killed me then lol

even if it is a fake...id still be pretty stoked for ten bucks...well done :)

had a burnt copy of not for your ears with a colour cover and it had scribble on it . like signatures . and they were selling it for $100 . :/ stoopid idiots.

Yeah it is unfortunate but i'd say it's most probably a fake. Perhaps chat to Syd/Dev or some of the other LilRockians that have a copy and see what they say.

haha some guy i know *coughbencough* said he was getting the original Origin through a store I wont name *coughtjbhificough* for $30 and I was like are you sure coz theres not that many copies floating around and their like $300 on ebay and he said he knew someone who could get the cd and send it. I argued with him for a while about that and it turns out that its "apparently" the factory release edition or sumthing- so yes i was right :cool: -but anyhows ur incredibly lucky if you got an original- if not, your still lucky for getting any sort of copy. :)

Hate to say it mate, but its nearly 100% fake. I've managed to report a couple of jokers on ebay trying to sell the copies for up to $200AUD. I think those copies said that Wind-up were responsible or something like that. Oh well $10 wasn't too bad. You could have forked out much more.

the fake one has 19 tracks. The real one has a hidden track in track 1, where if you rewind it (using the rewind button) you can hear David messing with "Anywhere". The fake one also has the current versions of My Immortal (not band), Whisper, and a Bring Me To Life mix. Which all came after 2003. Origin was printed in 1999-2000 (I think). Check with a mod, CFW, SYD, ZERO, someone like that, they will know for sure!

If they didnt add any extra tracks I wouldnt of knwon and I would of prefered not to no grr coz I would of thought I owned Origin lol, o well, back to my search for the Original copy! ...... if there is still an original left on Ebay.
