I've seen a few people asking about where to get the EvBoard Tags, so I'm just going to sticky this here so that you all can get them :) We either taped them or pinned them to our clothes when we used them.

Here's an example of what it looks like all done:

Here's the logo with out the name, just save it to your computer, use some type of photo program (Photoshop or Paint Shop) then add your screen name using the EvFont, which you can get from here (http://www.rockrage.com/musicfonts.html)

Yeah, those nametags actually rocked....good idea :) Its a lot easier for me to talk to people when they see my name and are all "hi!!" and stuff, because I am uber shy..lol. So yeah, I'll be wearing one of these again for sure.

All of the tour dates have been announced...Unless they plan on extending the tour, there aren't any west coast dates this time around :( Sorry. That's really cool, thanks for that. I'll have to remember to make one before Jones Beach (ehem, still assuming i get tickets). When people do they should post in the concert thread where they'll be sitting (because they tell you ahead of time, right?) so that you'll know who you'll be near and you can find each other in the huge crowds.

i'm sure you figured it out by now, but there's an option under the tools on the left for your text to lay over the picture or block it out. you want the one to lay your text over the pic.

I agree with what everyone else thinks. This is an awesome idea. I love the Evanescence font. I'm glad you had that link. I'm gonna' drive my teachers crazy by using that font for stuff. They hate anything beyond Times New Roman. :)

you can d/l the fonts. The ones I used were anywherebuthome from brittany and the evanescent font. I also tried cezanne but I havn't had much luck with some of the names.

No offense to the mods , because i have nothing but respect, but it seems that the tags atleast the ones that are being created arnt very creative. I'm going to post a couple of my ideas and see what you all think. I can take requests too, My main medium happens to be screen capping.

HappyHardcore, bear in mind that these will be small, printed pieces of paper taped/pinned to someone's jacket or shirt. They can't be busy. Try printing yours out and see if you can read it at a good distance.

Tracie's idea (which I copied >.>) is good because it's the simple EvBoard logo, which distinguishes where the person is from, and the name in white with a black border to set it off. Easily readable, even if the thing is a mere two inches wide.

It's like making a logo. Simple works best. Trust me on this one...I still have my EvBoard nametag from two years ago when the logo was different. ;)

Wouldnt it be grand if we could have entire t-shirts made with a fabulous picture of the band and along with evboard and your screen name written on it. Hmmm, good point. I might adjust my name to make it brighter, but I think the Evboard logo is pretty noticable (see post on previous page). What do you think, is that sufficient? :)

I also decided to make mine a sticker, and print it out on sticker paper. Just a suggestion for everyone else, because I personally have a life-long battle going on with safety pins. I suck at pinning things to my shirt, especially paper. They always fall off. :mad: Stickers, I can handle though. :)

May I suggest clear packing tape as an alternative to safety pins? ;) Or, use said wrapping tape to laminate the nametag and try safety-pinning it then. It should be easier.

Well im still going with my design, I just hope that wont keep anyone from talking to me or anything. I'll be glad to meet each and everyone of you, im pretty noticable anyway ,So dont be afraid to say hello. How many of you are going to try to get some autographs after the show?

I hate to bother some of you, but I have no clue as to how to make a name tag. I just got a new computer and I have yet to figure out how to use 1/2 of the programs Dell installed. I know many of you have been kind to make tags for others..So if someone wouldn't mind as to making me one, I would greatly appreciate it.

I've seen a few people asking about where to get the EvBoard Tags, so I'm just going to sticky this here so that you all can get them :) We either taped them or pinned them to our clothes when we used them.

Here's the logo with out the name, just save it to your computer, use some type of photo program (Photoshop or Paint Shop) then add your screen name using the EvFont, which you can get from here (http://www.rockrage.com/musicfonts.html)

If you don't have a machine to laminate for you, you can wrap the nametag with tape. It pretty much does the same job as laminating.

If you have those name badge clips, that would work to keep the tag around your neck too.
