I got Bs in Computing and English, and a C in maths, failed chem, and I wasn't allowed to sit the physics exam.

But I did better than I expected lol. :)
And I'm resitting physics this year, to hell with chem :p

I got 5 ones - English, Art, French, Biology and History
and I got 3 twos - Chemistry, Maths and Business Managment! :D

Congrats to those that done well and good luck to the ones that aint got their results yet. I didn't realise tehre was a set time to collect them last year so i overslepts and finally got them sent by post in March lol

OMG really? Can't believe you didn't know!

I was in Anglesey on the GCSE results day and I had to call the school to find them out. Only I was scared, so I made my mum do it. The first one the woman on the phone read out was the D for Biology, and I just cracked up laughing, because I thought I was gonna get a U for that... hahaha!!

I did find out my results cus my mum phoned up just didn't get them on paper till march. She wasn't impressed when told i'd gotten a U and a G :rolleyes:

Huh! My mum wasn't impressed with mine, 4 As, 4 Bs, 2 Cs and a D. She said I shoulda got all A*s. Funny thing with my results is that you can see which subjects I liked more than others, because I had better results in the ones I liked.

well done with all the A's . i didn't let my parents go in and get my resaults ever. i had to see first. then i'd come up with some story how i'd do better. heh

I dont think that i am going to be able to get my As results until the 8th sept :eek: Im away on holiday and i get back and leave again for America the day after they are released. I doubt that they will have reached my house by then if they are posted. :(

Sometimes people get them posted, but most people go to the schools to get them. Or they ring up if they can't get there. Kate, why don't you ring the school? They'll give them to you!! That way you won't have to wait!

i have to go to college next week and get mine! they wont let you phone and get them...plus i have to sort out letting the uni know my results!

i dont know if i can or want to ring. If i do really badly (which i think i have) it would probably depress me for the whole of my holiday. But then on th other hand if i dont get them i will probably worry about them for the whole of my holiday!

Just ring up and get it overwith. That's how you'll feel in the morning.

I have to get mine and call unis up and stuff. Oh I am not looking forward at all... omg... the stress and hell of next Wednesday night will be nothing short of torture I am sure... and if I didn't do well... omg... betcha anything my mum will blame my being on the internet!!

You can phone the school to get your results?
Oh, that must be torture for the person telling you them, especially if they're not good. I would hate to have to tell somebody they'd failed :(
Then again, giving good news is nice.

Yeah that must suck for the person reading them out... I have to go and get them, no way I'm hearing them on the phone this year! Besides, you'd be able to hear the tone of the voice of the person reading them out and you'd already know whether you've done well or not before they even say anything. Which must be crushing for the listener if it's bad...

film studies - B
english lit - C
theatre studies - C!!!!!!! i seriously thought i was going to fail that as it's the one that i want to do the most! i only needed D's to get into hull so i'm in!!!!!! i got 2 A's in english too for different modules which really shocked me!

i've also got a B in AS level performing arts!

i got my results today, they sucked :(

I only just started year 11,so i don't know my results obviously, but I did get some GCSE results from exams we have allready done. And i have got an A* in my unit 3 IT exam !!!! :D I was SO happy

I am 20, so luckily I'm past all that GCSE/A-level results stuff.. I know how nerve racking it can be though, I had to get through GCSE, AS (we were the 1st year) and A-level.... esp at A-level when you need grades for unis...

I passed my second year at uni though :-) yay to me... one year to go now...

Sure you will all be fine.. you probably all have the results by now anyway... my brother got his GCSE grades today....

Just remember, you can only do your best and whatever the outcome, nothings ever impossible... you can achieve anything you want to :-)

I got my GCSE Results today, and i got 7 As, 2Cs and a B! Im so happy because i can now do the subjects that i want to do for A level!! Im so relieved that it is all over!
Codger that is really good that you are getting an A* in IT already, no-one in my school managed to get over a B in the GCSEs, so that is amazing!

Congrats on your results everyone my friend was really ahppy with hers she got 4 A*s 6As and 2 Bs.

Are A-levels really getting easier? or is it just that now people can re-sit them their getting better marks and it makes them look like the're easier?

I got an A and two B's , wouldn't have done so well if I couldn't have re-sat a few.
