Sorry if this has already been posted, I only managed to find were the album was in last year's sales chart.

Someone posted this on another forum, and it's the biggest selling albums in the USA this year so far. Well done Ev!

YAY! That is so good that they're in the top 5... :D

I'm trying to ignore Usher at the top there...

I'll go and read the whole list now :D

I'd posted it in the Fallen Goes Global thread a while back. Just not with as much detail. I think when all is said and done, they should just barely be able to maintain top 5 because now they've started a big dropoff. They've sold 5.7 million to date in the US.

That's actually not bad. He hasn't released any singles this year. All of his releases came last year. However, it proves that his first album doesn't have much in the way of longevity. I don't think he's even on the Billboard 200 anymore.

I'm guessing RobertUK's source is from here (http://forums.ukmix.net/forums/viewtopic.php?t=18128&sid=cbb7a7bdd27fc4d65fe1c00fd6cbb4c4).

Usher's album outsold Outkast's though. And if it keeps up, it may outsell Ev's. He's only about 300,000 away.

Well Congrats 2 ev for being number 4. We shunt bitch about other bands getting 2 a higher number, or a much lower one. Because it wud be diff if ev were at 100. We should just be happy that ev have acheived what they have.

Spell the words out, next time..it's a bit easier to read :).

But I agree. Fourth out of 100? I'm not complaining. I'm surprised that they're still so high. Hey, if we're only three places behind Usher, that's pretty damn good.

Rock on, Ev! :)

Agreed. Let's consider that Fallen was released LAST YEAR. That means that it's outselling a majority of albums that have been released since the year started. I could go through a full list of albums that have been released this year or late last year and say that Ev has easily outsold them.

Hell, at this point, they're weekly outselling Outkast. Fallen was #43 this week and Speakerboxxx/TLB was #104 on the Billboard. Fallen has a good shot of outselling them this year. Outkast will be releasing more singles from Speakerboxxx/TBL, however, they may not get the success they had with releasing Hey Ya and The Way You Move at about the same time.

Cool beans. Yay.

It's very impressive that it is at number 4, since as Cfw said, it was released at the beginning of last year.

With all the publicity he's getting, along with radio play and video play...and the fact that all three of the singles he's released off the album could have been number 1's...I think his sales may end up reaching some of the tops of all time in the long run...

Not to overlook Eva. For hitting the chart with Fallen as there debut album to mainstream, that's AWESOME...I bet there next album goes even farther. No new album out, no tour now, and they're STILL gaining fans...they're INCREDIBLE!

i think Ev are going to go far.. my brother gives them 2 more albums but i think he's wrong. Ev rocks.. Fallen at #4 out of 100 in the US proves that. \\m// rock on Ev \\m//

Well not to burst any bubbles. there is still a high profile release come out in very soon. and that is U2 newest album. I'm no expert on ablum sales but I would imagine U2 could have a slot at beating alot of people out.... if memery servs me right I think it comes out in November...

Sincerely,
The Master

Yep is very cool this means people are still supporting them and not downloading the ever so easy ( i guess i'm a computer idiot) full alblums and the covers!! You so should get the cover and book stuff if you don't buy it!! but it is really nice to know that the fans respect them enough to go and buy it and let them have the 1 or 2 pennies they get from it and the honors and rightful success of ppl listening to the alblum.

im sorry to all the Usher fans out there but in my opinion he's way over played. and in the award shows they always put a lot of really deserving bands up against him and the dont stand a chance :( .... but i think its AMAZING that Evanescence is 4th :D
