When I first joined, I brought up a thread about board games. Now... here's a new similar topic?

What are / were your favorite game shows of all time. Past or present?



Mine:

1) Tic-tac-dough. I loved Wink Martindale when I was 5 (my parents actually took me to a Wink appearance... and he kissed me. :eek: . I still remember it today. NO NOT THAT KIND OF KISSING. :p ). I also loved the X's and O's that filled up the categories. I loved the brown categories most of all (like double or nothing, etc). And the dragon-guessing bonus round was teh shit!

2) Press Your Luck! Be sure to not land on the Whammies. If you get four, then you're out of the game. Make sure you get as many spins as possible, and then pass them off when you're rich. That was a fun, sneaky game.

3) Scrabble. This game show actually made me draw letters so I could tear them as if they were blowing up on the Tv. Yeah! Forever warped by the questionable tv back then. Scrabble word puzzles were fun to solve, though.

4) The Price Is Right. Three things that stand out: PLINKO!, Bob Barker, and idiots who bid on a price for $1.

5) Remote-control. An MTV and cookies game show :p . 'nuff said. That was a fun show.

3. I forgot the name (They say No wammy No wammy..lol some shit. And little guys pop out. Ack!!!! I forgot!!!) Oh wait, *Goes back to Miles post* It's called Press Your luck? LOL! If that's it..then hell yeah!
4. Temple of Doom? Something like that. It was a Nick game show. My sister and I used to watch it ALL THE TIME! lol..I was the Blue Baracudas (sp) and they have to run through the temple and scary guys popped out. Awweesshhoommee!

DVamp, it was called Legends of the Hidden Temple. That show OWNED me. O_O Global Guts, Family Double Dare, Wild and Crazy kids...all the early Nickelodeon game shows owned. I miss those days. v_v

Millionaire is also good, love watching it and screaming out the wrong/right answers...and also screaming at the dumbarsed people who take 5 mins to answer a question and get it wrong anyway...or people who use all their lifelines for the $1000 question. HA!

Nick also had a video game show: Nick Arcade. That was the shit. So was Video Power (with good ol' Johnny Arcade).

And... LET'S MAKE A DEAL. In this game, you could end up with a prize and trade it for "door number 2" (and sometimes it would be animals, etc.) They gave away ponies and garbage trucks on that show. :D

Haha that sounds like me. I watched it earlier tonight and some woman got hung up on a question that asked what the S and C stand for in SCUBA and her lifeline didn't know it either. I thought everyone knew what all those letters stand for. Guess not :)

Some people though, the stuff they don't know it quite scary.

Jeopardy-The highlight of my life was answering a Final Jeopardy question when I was 4 ok, so I didn't answer in the form of a question....stfu :p

Classic Concentration. I love playing for the cars. Those were fun.

I used to watch it a lot more than I do now, but that used to be my favorite TV show ever. Seriously. I used to get pissed off like you wouldn't believe when they'd cut the program out due to basketball or the world series. *geek*

Deal or No Deal is much better now that it's on daily. I love screaming at people, "Take the money! No, take the deal!" I would SUCK if I ever went on that show.

Survivor rocks! I'd call it a game show, I guess...a reality TV gameshow? *shrugs* Well if Survivor is included I'll add The Apprentice to that list. HAHAH Trump is my hero.

Oh god yes!!! I love that show too! I remember I used to come home from school, and Supermarket Sweep would come on, and that show afterwards! I loved that hour of television after school! :)

Wheel of Fortune's an awesome show! I used to watch Jeopardy a lot too. Now I barely ever watch TV (except that last 2 weeks, watched the Olympics every single day :p)

D00d I so kicked ass earlier tonight while watching the teen addition of Jeopardy. I only watched about ten minutes of it, but I got every question right. I felt so smrat :D

That's possible, not sure. Errrr.. wait.. is that the one where it was set up like a shopping mall? If so, that's not the one I'm talking about. The one I am talking were just tiers and tiers of wrapped boxes. All shapes and sizes. I don't think we're talking about the same one. :confused:
