I was stupid enough to go with friends who didn't really 'do' concerts. Anyway to cut a long story we were there early when only 20 people were there, then they stuffed around so we lost our place and ended up at the 1/3 mark in the crowd :mad:
I would have abondoned them but they had the keys to the apartment we were staying in. Next time they come down (hopefully next summer) I'm going by myself :)

By the sounds of it this concert was really good,I only remember two things from the Sydney one:crying during My Last Breathe because I always do when I hear it and when they played Breathe No More.
I went to a concert in march,not the Ev one another one (in relation to your security bagging),and this girl was taken out before the show even started-it was her own fault for wearing a plastic nurses uniform-she should've worn a cotton one-like me!Annnnddddd....there was a chick dirty dancing around the guards-she was off her face,she couldn't even walk properly.And the guards there were really mean-they had a go at a girl next to me because they thought she was taking pics....but sadly she got the blame instead of me.

this cocert WAS really good...undoubtedly the best night of my life...i was in the front row and Amy looked at me after BNM...which is my fave song...and it made me cry :(...you should look in the Festival hall threads for pics...they are awesome..

the camera work isnt top quality but u can understand why.

i was looking around on Ebay a few days ago, and there are original Concert pics available for buying...it think this auction still has a few days to go...:)

didnt' know there was a Melbourne concert floating around the place. might have to look into this. hmm. yeah i found heaps of pics on Ebay as well. i found a company making ev shirts and selling em. they looked pretty dodgey. i had a go at em. said "i hope part of the money goes to the band" and they looked at me with a blank look . so i went on my merry way..

The shirts look dodgy, no procedes go to band but hey, i've got one and i cant tell the diff in quality, + it costed $20 fo a long sleve evanescence fallen shirt :D

I was at that concert...it was great...i didnt know they released a dvd of it! i'll have to see if i can find it. i took photos from that too but i was in a seat so they didnt turn out too well...but i still know its amy in the photo :D

by the way....i got a black t-shirt with evanescence on the front with blue sleeves...it cost $50 but i wear it all the time so its worth it

they zoom in a lot so u get a great look at the band.
but there are some dick heads sittin in front or behind who just laugh and talk the whole time... so sometimes durin songs u hear these annoyin chicks talkin.

For those of you who have the festival hall DVD or have downloaded it, I just have to mention this.

There is a moment during Whisper that I have to bring to your attention, if you don't know what I'm talking about already. Yes, you guessed it! It's the girl singing way way WAAAAY too loudly and way way WAAAY off key :D

I very nearly wet myself the first time I heard it. The music strikes up, the crowd cheers and then waits patiently for Amy to start singing and then...."CATCH MEEEE" from the tone deaf person right next to the camera. She must have realised that she was very obviously the only one singing and then stops.

Old thread, I know, but I was talking to my cousin recently and she said she went to some market and they had the melbourne dvd and the guy said it was filmed from the side of the stage. But I'm not sure, I showed her my copy and she said the cover was the same so maybe he was just mistaking it for something else.
