I did a search and no threads came up that were for Game Cube owners, so here it goes.
For those of you who own Game Cube, what are your favorite games? What kind of accessories do you have for it?

I dont have any excessories for it, would love a light gun game though. Is there a lightgun for it??
My fav. games ??
Legend of Zelda (Both Windwaker and the remake of Ocarina of time)
Hands down. Two of the greatest games EVER. The detail, storylines, characters, atmosphere, everything about them was perfect. Even if the boss at the end of Windwaker was to easy, and the one at the end of Ocarina of time was toke so long you werent sure whether the game was stuck in a loop or somthing.

Also Timesplitters 2 is awesome, the best shoot-em-up since Perfect Dark on the N64.
Oh yes and F-zero-GX. The '64 version was great, but this game is even better. Speed takes on a new meaning.

Windwaker is the next game on my list to get. I should get it.. it's $19.99 at Best Buy this week :p
I just got Game Cube for christmas, so I only have Mario Kart: Double Dash, that collection of 7 Sonic the Hedgehog games, and 007 Agent Under Fire.
I really want that Game Boy adapter to put on the bottom of the Game Cube... then I could play the old school Super Maro Bros. game on GC!!
I heard Super Smash Bros. is really good too... but it's $30.
I also really want Mario Party 6.

For now Metroid Prime 2 rules like woah.
I've been disappointed with Zelda.....I don't know why, the story didn't captivate me at all, I found it boring and didn't even finish it.
Mario was nice.
and....that's all.
I think Tales of Phantasia is excellent, Baten Kaitos too.

Metroid Prime + Metroid Prime 2 = The best games for the Cube. Period. I've completed both with 100% ^^;
Celda was piss poor ('scuse the language). It was far too easy to complete and was just so.. childish.
Ocarina Of Time & Master Quest... OOT got boring once you abused it to death on the N64 and Master Quest wasn't that impressive. Few different skultula locaions, spawns in different places, a slight increase in difficulty.. nothing mind blowing.
I do like the look of the new Zelda game though! It looks so damn awesome... for those of you who haven't seen it (It's NOT cell shaded!!) here's a link:
I dont have any excessories for it, would love a light gun game though. Is there a lightgun for it??
Isn't there a game called boktai or something that comes with a light gun. I'm not sure though.
My favourite game would have to be timesplitters two. The hilarity of it all! i love the gingerbread man, the wierd laughing noise he makes... yay.
I was really looking forward to Goldeneye but apparently it isn't that good. I was hoping for a contender for the original goldeneye on the N64. I loved that game so much.
I was also looking forward to Harvest Moon and Animal Crossing (Animal Crossing for oh.. about two freakin' years!) and they weren't as good as I was expecting.
I've really been enjoying playing metroid (not sure which.) I'm only about 6% done and I'm taking it slowly.
Legend of Zelda (Both Windwaker and the remake of Ocarina of time)
I really need to finish playing Oot. I really don't have that far to go and it'll only be like the third game I've ever completed (I get bored of games before I finish them.) Zelda games are always fun though. I think I'm one of the few people who liked the cel shading on WW. No chickens though, the wierd farting pigs just aren't the same!

I heard this game is really addictive. I'm tryin to save up for it... I think it's around $30. What does it entail?
Any of you have Boodrayne? How is it? It looks really interesting.
What about Mario Party 6? I really want it...

I have one.
I bought it for Zelda: Windwaker. Cool game.
The only ther game I tried with it was Pitfall: the mayan adventures (rented from blockbuster). It was cool, but too hard for me, and i didn't want to waste my time. Also, I tried their version of gauntlet: dark legacy, but it was much 'jerkier' that the playstation 2 version. I kept the PS2 one and returned the Gamecube version.
I also have luigi's mansion. I like it because that game gives me nightmares for some reason.

Dunno, played it at a Gamestation booth lol. Graphics are sub-par, controls are a little funky, it's get's pretty repetative... what else should I mention? then again this was a PS2, doubt it'll be much different on a Cube.

@Movie_Star
Boktai is a game for GBA that encouraged people to play their GBAs outside with this game because it has a light sensor on it. You have to have so much light absorbed into the game to power you up so you can beat bosses or something like that, but it is not for the cube nor does it use a light gun.
Now, onto my collection:
Animal Crossing (haven't played yet)
Eternal Darkness (great game that messes with you through hallucinations)
Wind Waker (great game but the islands are too far apart, I mean i went and made a sandwich, ate it, took a piss, and got something to drink and still wasn't done sailing)
Ikaruga (the hardest game on the face of the planet, the only way you can beat it is if you are japanese; you are good if you can get to the 4th level[game only has 5])
Mega Man Anniversary Collection (great game, I bought it just for MM2, but all the games are recreated awesomely)
Metal Arms: Glitch in the System (great game, but it can't keep my attention too long)
Metal Gear Solid: Twin Snakes (frickin amazing remake of MGS from PS1; its redone in MGS2 graphics, but it doesn't suck balls like MGS2)
Metroid Prime (simply amazing game; don't have 2 yet, but I really want it)
Ribbit King (golf with frogs for the balls, need I say more?)
Super Bubble Pop (neat little puzzle game I picked up for 10 bucks, pretty challenging too)
Super Mario Sunshine (really good game, but no where near as good as Mario 64)
Super Smash Bros. Melee (funnest fighting game ever, I can play it for hours with my friends and not get tired, a local McDonalds has 2 gamecubes, and my friend dylan and i duke it out everytime we go there together)
Viewtiful Joe (great game, haven't beat it yet, played it and dropped it for a while due to Everquest 2 coming out; I need to play it again)
Well, thats my review of my GC games. If there are any PS2 owners reading this, I recommend picking up a game called Katamari Damacy, it is quite possibly the greatest game ever made.

Bloodrayne 2 is awesome. My 4th favorite game. Its just a cool action game- like Devil May Cry. No real point- you're given goals and you do it. The end. But the CG is awesome- the violence is really detailed and awesome (when you cut a leg off, you can see the layers of muscle/bone/fat, etc). THe voice acting is very cool, the atmospheres are neat. Its for you if you love really interactive fighting and atmosphere. Its a nice break from uh...'epic' and really really awesome games.
Its really just for fast-action and cool effects [time freeze, super speed, slow time, aura vision, blood rage, blood lust, blood fury, over 30 fatalities and finishing combos, etc]

Forgot to say that the greatest videogame accessory ever has got to be the Wavebird. It runs off of radio waves rather than infrared waves so it will work thru walls. The battery life is amazing on it also.

What's a Wavebird? I'm assuming it's some sort of controller... sorry I'm new to the whole gaming thing... I just got the Cube last week for xmas.
Anyone have the Game Boy adapter?

The wavebird is a wireless controller that runs off of 2 AA batteries. It doesn't have the rumble feature, but if it did, then the batteries wouldn't last the 40 to 60 hours like they do. Sure it costs 35 bucks, but it is well worth the cash. The wavebird + sensor has 16 different frequencies so that when you are playing with other people with wave birds, they won't interfere with eachother.
A couple of other neat games to check out that I didn't list in my collection are Lost Kingdoms and Donkey Konga. Donkey Konga is kinda like Dance Dance Revolution with drums. Lost Kingdoms is kinda like an RPG but you use cards to summon monsters to either do quick hits, heal you, replenish other cards, or summon monsters to attack on their own for a specified amount of time. Its a really good game, but I never finished it.

I haven't played the American version of Donkey Konga, just the Japanese one. The JAP version has some great songs on it, although I can't understand what it all says (one song has the phrase guru-guru in it and we just call it the guru-guru song [guru-guru is the phrase for a spinning sound in japanese]). It does have some fantastic songs that are in English like the D.K. Donkey Rap on it (ENG version has that too).
And just so you know, Wind Waker is a Player's Choice game now and all PC's are 19.99 now (mandated by Nintendo).

zelda windwaker is really awesome. and i haven't played ocarina of time, but you can get two-packs that come with windwaker and ocarina of time both in one case for the price of one regular game.

TimeSplitters 2
SSBM
Metroid Prime/Metroid Prime 2: Echoes
LotR: RotK/LotR: The Third Age
