May I suggest that the "Talk to Evanescence" and "Messages from Evanescence" forums be closed? No one from the band comes here anymore (John did a couple of times recently, but he hasn't been back in a couple of months). Members may want to reference old threads or posts in the forums, so I didn't think that flat-out deleting them would be a good idea.

I agree with Katya. They're pretty useless (and misleading to noobs that don't know better) unless the band members start coming around again, which looks pretty slim right about now.

What about moving the 'Messages from Band Members' posts to the Evanescence Chat forum?

I like the idea of keeping the "Messages from Evanescence" around for nostalgia and that they shouldn't be open to posting.

The talk to Evanescence forum could easily go away in my opinion. There are a few really old threads of interest in there, but nothing else.


Perhaps any good threads from those forums could be thrown into the Ev Graveyard and we'll call it good?

Maybe closing all of them and purely keep them around for referencing, archive, and memories?

I'd say completely get rid of them. Evboard needs a refreshment, and the best way it can get that refreshment is by completing getting rid of the bad vibe still lingering.

If old threads can be of any use to new people or ones that just pop here looking for some help/info on the band, keep them around, but do not delete them. One of the biggest problems is when new people show up on a board (for any board type), looking for a reference and there is none. Truly ticks alot of people off.

There's the Evanescence Reference for that.
