I don't know about who's better but I have a schoolfriend who lives off fizzy drinks, chips and polos and she burps at least five times a day - long, loud, disgusting burps.

That just shows how it's all down to diet. Consider that if your aiming to become a champion burper.
I have literally never burped (except perhaps in infancy). Maybe i'm weird, maybe i'm a bit of a freak but I seriously never have.

My friend (who is a girl) burps REAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAALY loud ALL the time.. even when we're eating. It's real sick =P

The only person I burp in front of is my son because he thinks it's hilARious.

When I burp, I have catogories:
1. With my normal friends burp
2. With my not so close friends burp
3. Family burp
4. Burp by myself
5. Burp with strangers

#1 sounds like "Oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooohhhhhuh" (sounds like a seal. It's really funny though :D)
#2 and #5 are mostly the same. They sound like hiccups :)
#3 is just about as loud as I can manage, and it sounds rather disgusting sometimes :p
#4 is whatever sounds I feel like making.

But I mean...if a girl just burps out of spite like some guys do...it's rather disgusting. I mean...how many times have you seen a guy just burping for the hell of it and were disgusted not only by the noise, but by the smell? Seriously...ew. Burping contests are fine, and personally I can out-burp and potty mouth almost all guys I know, but just because I can it isn't like...I do it in uncalled situations like...a dinner party or during a formal dinner. There's fun burping contests...and then there's manners. A line should be drawn both for guys and girls. ANYHOW! My points are:

1) Girls can definitely outburp guys. Duh.

2) Burping is only okay during burping contests and such.

3) Manners apply to boys and girls, regardless if one can outburp the other. You might be able to, but no one wants to smell your lunch just because you decided to start burping out of spite.

And that's my rant.
