I was just wondering if anyone likes Postal...its a computer game for those who have never heard of it. It is one of the most morbid/sadistic/sickening/awesome games that you could ever play. The game is really simple they give you an easy tasks to do but if you feel like killing someone you can go right ahead. There are a range of weapons from a shovel to a machine gun. And let me not forget the anthrax-infested cow heads you can through at people. The game is only as violent as you are...you can go the whole game without killing a single person...but it's more fun if you do...This game is just a fun way to release stress so you don't go postal in real life.
Any ways just wondering if anyone besides me has played it...
And BTW: I read recently that they are thinking about making Postal 3 for X-Box and handhelds...OMFG I can't wait!!

I downloaded a demo of Postal 2, and if it wasn't so slow on my computer I'd but it. It's so crazy :p
It's a different take on GTA. Instead of earning rep in huge ass worlds you're buying milk and peeing on dogs :p

I've played it. It's indeed very sadistic, especially when you change into cop uniform and nobody can stop you... :p:p

I'll never for the life of me understand why people find killing other people entertaining (even if it's just a game). Real violence has real consequences, and sadly, many people don't understand that concept. That's not to say that video games are to blame for world crime, but when we see violence as entertainment, we become numb to the pain. The sanctity of human life has become a game, and to me....that's just sad.
Okay, I'm done ranting now...

=x Maybe since hes such a jinx to every movie element he touches- if he makes a movie based on a bad game, he'll make it a good movie.

I downloaded the demo as well. It was quite enjoyable (I laughed my ass off while playing it). I was going to go buy it, but then my schedule got hectic again and I forgot. By the time I remembered I couldn't find it in stores anymore. :(

You'll have to use a UK internet shop to buy it but still:
Amazon.co.uk (UK) - Postal 2 (2 in 1 combo, single player with expansion pack and multiplayer)
House of the Dead? I find exhilirating.

Well, Dr.Boll and his brilliant team of writers are apparently going to be using the characters from the games, but in a brand new Boll-erific storyline.
Oh yeah, he also got ahold of Dungeon Siege.
I think Al Queda is seriously funding this guy in some wierd type of new terrorism tactic.
One more thing, they are making House of the Dead 2 without him.

Yeah...this game is definatly not for the faint of heart or weak of stomach.
I guess it just depends on how you take stuff. Like movies...never make me emotional. Only real life can move me. Because it just seems so fake in movies...well, it is. I can watch people gettting their heads and limbs chopped off and if it's poorly done I'll even laugh. Just dosen't effect me. I have never seen a horror movie(I have seen a lot) that has really scared me or anything. Most of the modern day horror flicks are stupid, the classics are way better!!

Hehe i love Postal 2. I don't have it anymore though, i may try to find it again. Except i can't play games like that much because they give me really bad motion sickness :( my ear even started bleeding once when i was playing it lol.

Not for the weak stomached: You can burn someone when they're lying on the ground and their skin burns off or something, if they stay alive they just get back up as if nothing happened, so you have a red guy walking around :eek: :p

I think Postal isn't that bad (in terms of violence, the gameplay is awful) actually. Sure the voices in your head are a little unnerving, but it isn't anything that hasn't been done before (and a lot better). Doom 3 is far better than Postal 2. Give me a chainsaw and I'll be happy for hours.
