ok, i searched but didn't find anything...
my(and someone else's) problem: now i know how the rep-point-stuff works, but something seems to be wrong: everybody should get a green point for 100 rep points, when i started there was one, now i have more than 600 rep points, but only 6 green points, instead of 7. i'm not the only one with the problem...so i wanted to ask.

I'm pretty sure you will get 7 when you hit 700 rep points. That's to the best of my recollection.

It's 100? Hm. Anywho...


For me...it seemed like the more dots you get..the more it takes longer for another to be added on. I dunno :/ Is that how it works?

I think when you reach 1000 it changes to like every 500 or something off the wall like that~

hmm...til now i always got one of those green points(like in my profile) everytime i had 100 points more. i got the 6th one after i had 500 rep points. and now i have 600 and still 6 points. maybe it takes longer when you get more and more, but til now it always was 100 rep points=1 green point.

i didn't know there are 2 different green points...

I think its when you get up to a 1000 or somthing like that you don;t get green dots as often... I can't remember the actual points system

After a while you just hit I think 7 dots under your name and stop.. I don't know.

You really shouldn't care too much about the number of green dots that show up; just be happy you're getting all those positive comments, because it means you're being helpful and people like you. :)

Haha I just realised that if you hover your mouse over the dots, it gives you a comment :D

Because you start with 1 dot, so when you get your first 100 points you have 2 dots. 200 = 3, 500 = 6. then it changes. 700 = 7. I don't have more than that or I'd elaborate more. :)

Yeah I have over 1300 points and 10 dots so that makes since.

Yeah, as far as points are concerned I couldn't care less, I'm able to post and what not so that makes me a happy camper. I still love receiving warm and fuzzy comments though. :D

I didn't even realise how many points you needed to get a green blob, I just have 4 and didn't even realise that you needed 100 more to get a blob. My name's Amy and I'm thick... lol! I don't really mind about the blobs, the comments are pretty funny though!
