This looks to be the biggest tongue-in-cheek summer movie hit. Right now it's opening on Spiderman 2's weekend (June 30).
I am not sure if I want to see Spiderman 2 or this more... It looks so funny.
Go harold and kumar (http://movies.yahoo.com/shop?d=hv&cf=info&id=1808550999&intl=us)

Well, then in that case it got pushed to July 30th :( I saw the commercial for it today with the delayed date?..
I saw the trailer for this movie a few weeks ago. It looks hilarious. "From the makers of American Pie and American Wedding...we bring you the asian dude from American Pie...and the indian dude from Van Wilder." :D
I'm definitely going to be seeing it the weekend it comes out :D and dude, go see Spider-man 2 today or this weekend or whenever. This White Castle movie's got awhile to go, although on rottentomatoes.com it already got like 4 positive reviews and 1 negative review.
Clips! :D they're hilarious..I just got through watching all of them. I like the, "You got a lot of baggage." and what happens after that haha the awkwardness! :D

Holy crap! Doogie's in the movie!!! :D
And LOL at one of those clips sounding almost like a porn movie :p
Oh dear God, this is so bad it's good. I'm a sucker for those types of movies.

yea! I finally got a couple of hits on my old thread!
I didn't know it was pushed back to July 30 :( ... That's the same date as "The Village"
I'll have to make it a 2 movie weekend then!
p.s. In case you're wondering. NO! We don't have White Castles around memphis... but we do have Krystal's (similar).

I haven't seen any previews for this movie, but I looked over the link you gave and it looks like it will be pretty funny, and that Steve Braun guy is he the one who played in "That Thing You Do" ? *hmm*
I don't really like Spidey so if I do go to the movies this weekend which is likely, I may see this (if it's playing) :)

2 weeks until this comes out. :D
Then that means 2 weeks until I see it :D
I just watched the trailer a few times in the past hour or two..especially the beginning, over and over again. That "You sure got a lot of baggage" part :D
This is one movie where regardless of what the critics say (they usually give these types of movies negative reviews anyways it seems), I'm going to go see it.

This movie looks awesome. I love the "Dude, where's my car?" line they show in the preivews.

No, cause you made this topic so you should see Harold & Kumar first =P
Rating is 77% fresh, 6.7/10 average. 36 fresh, 11 rotten. Not bad at all.
It's gotten pretty good reviews, I'm definitely going to see this later this afternoon :D

I just got back from seeing this movie...
It's pretty good! The movie is a little boring at times but overall it's pretty hilarious. There's a lot of random scenes and the one with Kumar having sex with a giant life-sized bag of weed was hilarious. It wasn't as funny as I thought it would be but it was still pretty good.
When I was in line for the movie, these two girls behind me said, "How can Harold and Kumar be rated R? It's two innocent guys.." it's rated R for profanity, nudity (both male and female unfortunately, although the male nudity is hilarious), weed, etc. Kumar has the most hilarious face expressions.

I want to see it !! Hopefully, I will go sometime within the next week. I should see this after I watch The Village to get the scariness out of my head. :p

It's bad that part of the reason I went to see Anchorman twice was to see the previews for this movie. Rock hard \m/. The guys were on Conan or Leno or something like that a few nights ago, and they showed even more clips. And the hilarity ensues. I'm SO there.

Hey! "THE VILLAGE" was sold out, so I went and saw it... And I got a free CD / Cd-Rom! Rock on!
I was very happy.
It's still in the shrinkwrap. Did anybody else get a CD?
RE: the movie... It was mostly funny. I agree w/ crya... the 3/4th of the movie was a little dead, but the rest was a very funny trip.
Reminds me of "Pee Wee's big adventure" and "Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure" with a little "PCU" thrown in. A lot of good lines, and a lot of weird characters. My kind of shit! :D

You can put it in your CD player too? Damn..
I got nothing. The least they could have done was give me a free White Castle burger. I did however, have the ticket seller get confused about the time the movie aired and take about 2 minutes just for me to get my ticket, and I got a quarter and a ticket stub in return. So...yeah.

I love John Cho...he is too hilarious! :D
I will see it just for him..and the White Castle...of course.
:)
What the hell was the, very short-lived, sitcom on the WB(I think) with him and the other dude, from American Pie?
Anyone know...it was funny.
Can't remember the name. :/
EDIT:: nevermind.."Off Centre" was the show...
I forgot I have the internet. :P

There's Indian buttocks in the movie, too!
Drum roll please! Here's what the cd looks like. It has some mp3 downloads and a funny puzzle game & an 'uncensored' trailer... And... the 'land of burgers' on quicktime! The full sequence \m/... nevermind.. (edit) it's a narrated director's discussion with snipets of the sequence.

Haha...I liked that show! I used to watch it, it was pretty good. John Cho and his sock and stuff...

I know, that was funny...not the first time, but the second time as he's walking away. I like when Kumar was in the office doing an interview and Harold called him up and Kumar was all..."No, we are going to get blazed TONIGHT!!!" It's just hilarious seeing Kumar like that with his big eyes and all.

And then the Doctor dude spills his coffee all over his pants. LOL
What about the battle-shit twins?
(edit) The cd has a 'super mario brothers' videogame: harold in burgerland. Gotta jump on the evil burgers like they're goombas. :)

Those battle-shit twins was scary. That was sick and funny at the same time.
What movie theater did you go to? I went to Consolidated Theaters. That Super Mario Bros. game sounds fun tho haha.

Malco Theaters... the Cordova Cinema by my house (it's a company with a stranglehold on our market...)

Everything I typed just got erased! T_T
We don't got any of them theaters here, so. But I went to the web site (http://www.haroldandkumar.com) and they got the Mario game there. I'm playing it right now :D
There's a mini movie of "stills" on the site as well and it reminds me of when Kumar was giving that speech of how their parents escaped their countries full of poverty, cruelty, and most importantly, hunger. Him focusing on hunger and the solution being burgers killed me. And that black dude at the end of the movie..."I support my black people. And asians. And a few Mexicans." What the hell?! HAHA..
I just replaced my background of this Street Fury girl (import racing) with this. I'm sure I'll change it back to the girl later but still, that Kumar one cracks me up :D
And as for the soundtrack, it looks alright. I might check it out.

Just fyi... the cd game is a little harder than the online game. But Maybe I'll get a high enough score to get my name in their hall of fame...
Like Super Mario brothers, you can hit some of the bricks for hidden hearts (their version of coins). I need fireballs or kung-fu though. it's hard kicking those burgers' asses with just an up arrow.

Yeah, I gave up on the game around the 5th level or so. I got the hidden hearts but no clue about what else you can get.
It gets a little bit tricky but yeah, it's fun tho. My mistake was figuring out how to get across in the part with 4 blocks in the air. Eventually I figured it out but by then I had one life and was killed by accidently jumping off a tree or whatever into the neverending fall below
Oh yeah, I just read the instructions  "When the time comes, use spacebar" haha...nearly 2,000 points later and nothing.
Also, I just read that Paula Garces (the girl Harold has a crush on) is from Spanish Harlem. That's cool, someone for a lot of people to look up to :D and Kumar's real name is Kal Penn and he was actually on Spin City a bit. I used to watch the show too and don't recall him on it. Oh well, I didn't watch it all the time anyways.

Shit. I got up to the blood spitting racoon! How the hell do you beat it? (Guess you just jump over it... I tried jumping on it's head, but got electrocuted :( )
