like im still classified as a new member, and my posts ged moderated, but do you actually read what i posted?
coz theres thousands of members here so do you read every single post that still need moderating?

and another thing how do you decide what gets posted and what doesent?

Normally, yes! ... otherwise a mod queue would be a stupid resource.

Only newbies are being moderated not so 'thousands' of members. There are usually 2-3-4 mods sometimes so the work is not a hell at all.

Dumb posts, already discussed themes, flaming threads are deleted 'ipso-facto' without previous inquiries nor PM. However, we let some posts through the mod queue and make fun... not so often... but it's funny to read ToB getting on his nerves sometimes... :D

i'm not a mod, but if there 'are' problem posts, most members will report the post to a mod [i think theres a button somewhere] and the post will get taken care of, the members sort of help the mods :D

Actually, it's all thanks to Michelle.

She makes this sort of potion out of tree bark and cat hair which gives us all the strength of ten men and X-Ray vision.

However, we let some posts through the mod queue and make fun... not so often... but it's funny to read ToB getting on his nerves sometimes

I don't necessarily do it just to spite the user. However, if they make a post that quite honestly makes NO sense whatsoever, they're going to get called out on it. And henceforth pwn3d.

It makes for excellent entertainment for us non-mod users too ;)

Yes,i agree,quite entertaining. Yet again,thats not a good way at all to start off on here. Yes we all agree Amy pwns,but i mean,they obviously didnt read what they were soppost to when they first come on the boards. When it says "Read BEFORE posting!" that means read BEFORE,not after. But,hey,it gave me a few good laughs

It's not that they didn't read the stickies. It's just that they lack of common sense

I mean.... god, that thread Katya posted in only one of the manyshamefull ones, I really think the mods should do an IQ test before letting us sign in.

Those red dots are HOTTT!!! I want me some...not. But I do love seeing stupid little n00bs get the neg rep because they post stupid stuff. I give much props to the mods here on the EvBoards. I've been in some other forums where the mods sucked majorly and some really ridiculous stuff got on there. Just because quasi-internet smart, learn how the board works and advance quickly...be a douche n00bie, and get stuck with the red dots and a subtitle that says banned...

now i see why these posts have to be mod'd (is that a word???)

at the start i hated it, thats why i didnt really post at the start, but now i dont mind as much

I agree with Euge they really should give an IQ test. I think thats also why you have to be atleast 13 to join. Because, if you think its bad now with just 13+,just imagin what it would be if we had little 7+ year olds running around! We would have to get more and more mods because these couldnt handle it all! No offence to the younger fans but,its a fact that that would definatly happen.
